Well we are dealing with  salvation here and not healing. You may open a new thread on this. But I will say this ; It is not everything written in that article that is correct. Some lies are there. But nonetheless,  Every man work by teir convictions. We dont all belive thesame thing. They were not perfect  people. They dont all know what some of us know today. A man answer for  himself. Even if their faith fail in one or two areas , they haveconquered thousands of challenges by faith. . How many of their testimonies of faith have you listen to personally? Critics only major in the flaws of others, Several men of the bible days had their flaws too.But let God be true.Even Jesus had his own challenges, His  faith shook . He alsmost didnt want to go to the cross.He chose a thief to be his cashier.

Your statement on "broadcasting" is passing a sublime judgement on others because your assertion implies that if people so to say "broadcast" the "folks" they are worshipping and fellowshipping with, it means they are not working out their own salvation?? When you regard your individual way of doing things as the yardstick for measuring the way of others, doesnt that seem like self-centredness?

So a church receiving offerings and saving same is a sin abi?; One is expected to believe that a fellowship/church that receives offerings, shud not save same right? What is a bank meant for? Read biblical stories in context and dont misapply them to suit your ideology!!!!

So all the churches that own various business arms are in error abi? u educate me, because you seem to exhibit a scholarly prowess of biblical truths!!

It is not enuv to say serve GOD, what is the mechanics? How do you serve God without subjecting yourself to those that He (God) placed in position of authority over you and without this subjection being miscontrued as "worshipping man"?

I think you must have been blinded by your sore hatred for this man that you totally missed my point here.
Let me straighten you out now:
Your life is not measured by how good you are at criticizing others, castigating people who are busy doing something worthwhile with their lives (good or bad) or attacking personalities just because you feel dwarfed by their achievements but by what you have applied your life to doing be it good or bad. If you have personal issues with this man, I think you are holding the loser end of the stick because you have not achieved anything close to what he has done for his generation (good or bad)!.
You must learn to respect people that have achieved something worth mentioning with their lives though you may have your reservations about their activities. You have no right questioning what someone did when you have not tried it talk more of surpassing it!

I can see how frustrated you are with life and in a bid to grab something in life, you decide taking on people with your loose tongue and questionable upbringing, because no normal person in his or her right frame of mind would utter those ugly words that came out of your unbriddled tongue and i think you must have grown up hearing such degrading words. My advise to you is to get something doing, seem you are jobless and definitely hopeless (no offense anyway). People of your type always seek others support before they can do anything in life; its pathetic. if you are a christian which you proclaim, such destructive, degrading and demonic words would not proceed out of your buccal cavity.
You quote a lot of scriptures which seem to show that you are not familiar with the bible at all; its a shame. Read your bible very well and your mouth will be strained from uttering the wrong words. Point is that most people in support of tithe ignore threads like this, or do not contribute. For one tithe supporter, you'll usually get above double tithe haters insulting him/her and thinking he collects tithes for a living. Both the hater that has not been to church in a while and the one that doesn't believe in God, and the one that thinks he knows some Bible passages, they all have an irresistable urge to post. That's what I call the taskmaster's hardness

I decided to post the hebrew passge i mentioned which makes it clear that tithing is not meant for christians.

Hebrews 7:5-19:

5And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

6But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.

7And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

8And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

9And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

10For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

11If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

12For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

13For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

14For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

15And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

16Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

17For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

18For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

Hope you noticed the correlation between verse 5 and verse 18, it is the same "commandment" mentioned in verse 5 that was anulled in verse 18, but your pastor wouldn't show you these parts of the bible becos of their love for filthy lucre.
