Happy New Year To You All!

Last year was not really a good one for me due to many problems. On the 25th of December, while others were enjoying, I was in the street pushing my wheel barrow looking for buyers of my wares. I didn't have what to celebrate and so there was no need staying back at home, thus going out for my business. Today, the same thing. I can't stay back home when I have no money to buy chicken, cook rice and all those things. My house rent is even due for renewal. All these troubling my mind and making me very unrest. As usual, I went out early today to the park, targeting travelers who may need phone accessories. So while I was there, one man came to me and wished me happy new year, followed by other questions. At some point, he asked why I didn't take a rest from work today and I told him no money to celebrate. In fact, too many problems. That is why I'm out looking for money. He asked me how much can help me have a nice time today. I said 5k can do. To my surprise, he counted 7k for me and said I should go back home and have some rest for the day and then buy something to celebrate the new year. I was very surprised. I wasn't expecting that. God bless him and replace in abundance from the source he took the money from.

While others are celebrating the new year today I am here sobbing because my marriage is at the verge of breaking .
I loved my wife with all my heart but I don't think I will ever forgive her for what she have done to my mother.
I am the only child of my mother I have three sisters on my father's side.
I am married with two beautiful daughters. my mother suffered from diabetes , bp and high cholesterol she is on a special diets strictly no salt or too much sugar
She came to stay with me because the person who was taking care of her wasn't doing her job properly so I had to bring her to my house so I will be monitoring her health.
I have a house help who prepare all her meals with less salt and she also make sure she takes her medicines on time without fail.
Everything was  fine my mother is not a troublesome person she gets on well with my wife and most of the time she is in her room resting.
On the 20th of December my house help had traveled to the village to see her people and she will he back in January 4th so my wife and I have to take care of my mother making sure that she her foods is less salty and medicines on time.
Since I am always working so my wife had to take most of the responsibility it is only for a week and fews days until the house help is back.
She had agreed to take care of my mother during this periods of time and I tought everything was fine but I noticed my mother become distant and tired unlike her and I had no idea that she was actually dying and I have never suspected that my wife was maltreating her.
So Thursday being 30th December I was at work when my wife called  and asked me to join her at the hospital because mama had a seizure.
I rushed to the hospital and my mother was in a coma state and I asked her what happened to mama , she said mama woke up that morning complaining about shortage of breath and she told her to go back to bed and rest hoping she will be fine by the time she will wake up.
Only for mama to fall off the ground and started shaking with foam coming out of her mouth.
I was in panicked I couldn't stop praying for my mother to get better and I didn't leave the hospital, my wife went home to take care of the children because she has left them with the neighbour and I had spend all night prayer vigil at my mother bedside and glory be to God my mother woke up yesterday being 31st but the doctor report was not a good news for me.
Actually my mother was poison with salt and guess who did it . My beloved wife couldn't bothered to cook a different meal for my mother  she used to feed her the same meal we ate knowing full well that mama cannot eat the same foods as us because we are salt lover especially my wife she love eating too much salt which I have warned her over and over again because it is also not good for her health.
I confronted her she said she only fed mama the same meals we ate twice only but according to the doctor it was more than two times.
I am hurt that my wife doesnt loved my mother or treat her like her own mother because if she truly loved her like her own mother she would have put her diet on consideration and not allow her to eat the same meal as us. I love her mother and u treat her like my own mother.
It pain me a lot  when I remember five years ago when her mother was in coma state and she was staying with her at the hospital , she is her only daughter amongst three boys.
I used to visit them everyday after work I will bring foods and I have even washed her mother clothes with my own hands I have done with love because she is my mother. I called my mother in law this morning and I have informed her about what her daughter has done to my mother and she couldn't stop apologising and she is very disappointed with my wife.
But see how she has repay me by hurting my own mother.
She has apologised to me and to my mother , I have forgave her but I don't think I can stay with her again because one day if I become sick or bedridden she might treat me the same way.
Honestly speaking I am not even at home with her and the kids I am at my cousin brother house since yesterday I left the hospital and my mother is still in the hospital because she need more treatment and hopefully she will recover by next week.
I don't feel like going home today and I don't know when I'll go home but I will always be there for my girls because they are the best thing that ever happened to me.
what other advice would you give me on this situation what are your thoughts Thank you for reading all I love this community.

An 11-year-old girl who was impregnated by her aunt's husband has been abandoned in her village Orokam, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue state to fend for herself and her unborn child, Igbere TV reports.

It would be recalled that the suspect, a security guard at the Benue State University, Joseph Adoyi, was arrested by the police few months ago.

The victim was said to have been living with Adoyi and his wife at the North Bank area of Makurdi since she was three years old.

Adoyi was said to have threatened to kill the victim if she told her aunt.

One Andrew Obeya Adaudu took to Facebook on Wednesday, December 29, to share the plight of the minor and seek help for her as she is almost due for delivery.

Please i need advise

I have been dating my girlfriend for some years now. she became an orphan recently, so i decided to open a shop for her so she can start earning something for her not to turn herself into something else since no family support. though she also invested all her savings into the business and i supported her also with the little i can. i thank God her business has been doing well and developing gradually. But her behaviour has really change seriously towards me, she hardly dail my number to check on me, she also goes out with any guy or men, she also password her phone, i cant even touch her phone, she will flare up. she will say its nothing that she is just catching fun. i do overlook all this just to make peace rain. something happen yesterday that make feel so bad, i told her im coming to visit in her shop that if any food seller pass her shop, she help order food, so when i reach her side she told me to bring money that she cant use her money to buy food for me, i felt somehow inside with her response. i had to give her the money to get it because hunger dey wire me seriously. so after im done eating, i was gisting with her but she is not responding, she was pressing phone then a called enter and he told the man she is in her shop, that the man should stay at the junction that she is coming to meet him, she stood up and told me to be looking after her shop till she come back, i was really dumbfounded and shocked, i coundn't utter any word as i dont want to talk or do anything silly as people are plenty around her shop. she left me there, i stood up also and leff the shop. i really felt bad and sad. this a person i have really tried my best for since she lost her parent. I'm planning to send her packing from the shop first, but my bro said i shouldnt try it that its childish for me. he said i should chill for now. please i need your advise on how to go about this.

NOTE; i rent the shop for my MUM just to use it as her second shop to store her goods. though the shop is too big, so i told her to let us split it to two my gf can use the other half.

Lots of Npower Batch C applicants have been asking when the Npower non graduate component will commence.
The Npower non graduate training program commenced on Monday, 11th of October, 2021, with almost 3,000 Npower volunteers from the North Central, which comprise Plateau, Nasarawa, Niger, Kogi and Abuja actively participating in the non graduate category. The Npower beneficiaries were fully accommodated at Vera Gold Hotel, PSIN, Kubwa and were given ₦42000 each to cover their transportation and feeding expenses. Additional ₦15000 will be given to each Npower Batch C Volunteer under the non graduate category as transportation back to their respective states after the duration of the program.
“The Npower Batch C non graduate volunteers were offered free accommodation with air condition, availability of water, light, security and good environment for training".
Two doctors, nurses and drugs were provided, with three admission beds for the N-Power beneficiaries.
“The Npower Hardware trainees will be given working tools, devices and manuals after the Npower non graduate training; to sustain and enable them to be self reliant and self-employed after the training. Npower Software, Animation and Scripting trainees will be provided with a laptop each; to take care of themselves at the end of the training.
Conclusively, all the N-Power beneficiaries will be paid ₦10000 each as monthly Npower stipends, with effect from October, 2021 for a period of 9 months.”

The usual practice of Nigerian Students is to have a signing out occasion after their final exams where fellow students would Celebrate with them by appending their signatures on their shirts.

This has been pending for a while and I feel the urge to share before it's too late. I promised God I would testify if he granted my heart desire of a good job. My story goes thus;

I graduated from the university since 2014 and had no job. During this period, I equipped myself with handwork (fashion designing). When job wasn't forth coming, I decided to enrol for masters but continued the job hunt. The Masters was also a hurdle but I am glad I finally scaled through and graduated. Most people I hoped on to help me secure a job failed me. I kept applying for different jobs through online job sites. I was invited for tests and interviews most of which I didn't scale through. I was always sent REGRET MAILS.

I managed to get one small job last year September and as time went on, I felt I was wasting away. This wasn't what I intended for myself. I soaked my pillow with bucket of tears. I felt like a failure.

So in February 2021, I turned to my GOD.I was so tired of struggling. There was no one to lean on except God. I told God that I was tired and that if he was indeed my God, he should prove it from March.

In March ending, I got promoted in my workplace to a managerial position.

In April, I got another good job but I rejected it because I weighed the pros and cons and I felt I needed to work and gain experience in my new role.

In May/june, I got called by an organisation to redo my medicals and join them. You see,I actually got to the medical stage last year and then I didn't hear from them again so I moved on. Anyway, I resigned and joined them since it was a much more better place.

In September,God gave me a special birthday gift. I got my dream job; a multinational firm with great career prospects.

God didn't end there. Same September, I got a call from the HR of another multinational group. I wrote their test in October 2019,did their interview in February 2020 and I also didnt hear from them. Then in December 2020, they sent me a REGRET MAIL. I was so angry then. Now,the HR called me and she said "you did an interview with us in February last year. Would like to reconsider the job?.If yes, let's have a chat".

So in 2021, I got a PROMOTION and FOUR GOOD JOB OFFERS. All jobs were through online applications...there was no connection.

This is ME telling my EVER FAITHFUL GOD, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
