Imagine 100m people earn an average of just $100 every month, that will be $10 billion dollars income for the nation.
Now imagine if that money enters the black market if the exchange rate will not drop.

Moving onto other news.......

Morning Star have just launched a new range of products upgrading their solar charge controllers and introducing a new range of inverters. O boy, Morning Star have really gone all out on this. They increased the voltage of their flagship charge controller from 150v to 200v and increased the amperage from 60ah to 100ah finally catching up to Victron. They also added Bluetooth and wifi finally. Their new range of inverters is fanless people and over built Morning Star standard to handle and operate in rugged areas and high temperatures. Bottomline, should we wait a little further to load? As in, do the chart suggest it will go further down?

Not really though.

It was obvious for a while that this was happening. I remember we had a back and forth about this decline in June.

Nothing has changed technically in GTCO. I think we all (myself included) battle with confirmation bias.

I have read/ heard this concept before and suspected that it was what you meant.
However, you used the catch phrase "Print Money" whereas the correct term should probably have been "Create Money".

ositadima1:
How Bank Lending Really Creates Money, And Why The Magic Money Tree Is Not Cost Free

How is money created? Some is created by the state, but usually in a financial emergency. For instance, the crash gave rise to quantitative easing – money pumped directly into the economy by the government. The vast majority of money (97%) comes into being when a commercial bank extends a loan. Meanwhile, 27% of bank lending goes to other financial corporations; 50% to mortgages (mainly on existing residential property); 8% to high-cost credit (including overdrafts and credit cards); and just 15% to non-financial corporates, that is, the productive economy.

Money is created on faith alone, whether that is faith in ever-increasing housing prices or any other given investment. This does not mean that creation is risk-free: any government could create too much and spawn hyper-inflation. Any commercial bank could create too much and generate over-indebtedness in the private economy. But it does mean that money has no innate value, it is simply a marker of trust between a lender and a borrower. So it is the ultimate democratic resource.

Money is created when banks lend. The rules of double entry accounting dictate that when banks create a new loan asset, they must also create an equal and opposite liability, in the form of a new demand deposit. This demand deposit, like all other customer deposits, is included in central banks’ measures of broad money. In this sense, therefore, when banks lend they create money.

Nor does the creation of money by commercial banks through lending require any faith other than in the borrower’s ability to repay the loan with interest when it is due.

Commercial banks’ ability to create money is constrained by capital. When a bank creates a new loan, with an associated new deposit, the bank’s balance sheet size increases, and the proportion of the balance sheet that is made up of equity (shareholders’ funds, as opposed to customer deposits, which are debt, not equity) decreases. If the bank lends so much that its equity slice approaches zero – as happened in some banks prior to the financial crisis – even a very small fall in asset prices is enough to render it insolvent. Regulatory capital requirements are intended to ensure that banks never reach such a fragile position.

It is of course possible for banks to lend more than the population can realistically afford.

In contrast, central banks’ ability to create money is constrained by the willingness of their government to back them, and the ability of that government to tax the population. In practice, most central bank money these days is asset-backed, since central banks create new money when they buy assets in open market operations or QE, and when they lend to banks. However, in theory a central bank could literally “spirit money from thin air” without asset purchases or lending to banks.

The ability of the government to tax the population depends on the credibility of the government and the productive capacity of the economy. Hyperinflation can occur when the supply side of the economy collapses, rendering the population unable and/or unwilling to pay taxes. It can also occur when people distrust a government and its central bank so much that they refuse to use the currency that the central bank creates. Distrust can come about because people think the government is corrupt and/or irresponsible, as in Zimbabwe, or because they think that the government is going to fall and the money it creates will become worthless (this is why hyperinflation is common in countries that have lost a war). But nowhere in the genesis of hyperinflation does central bank insolvency feature.

Certainly not commercial banks. People trust the money created by commercial banks firstly because it is exchangeable one-for-one with central bank created money, and secondly because governments guarantee its value up to a limit . Deposit insurance effectively turns the money created by commercial banks into government money.

But even the money created by central banks requires a government guarantee. The dollar is backed by the “full faith and credit of the U.S. government.” And central banks are mandated by governments to maintain the value of the money they create. That’s what their inflation target means.

So, faith in money is, in reality, faith in the government that guarantees it. That in turn requires faith in the future productive capacity of the economy. As the productive capacity of any economy ultimately comes from the work of people, we could therefore say that faith in money is faith in people, both those now on the earth and those who will inhabit it in future.

How did you go about this?
Is it dependent on the BMS type
Monlo:
No changes boss,as the tail of the dog is still where it is. LIFEPO4 is surely the best way to go and I wish knew earlier. In my first 2years into this journey,my SMF LA Ba3s failed me. Since they were under warranty,i quickly returned them and were replaced by SIMBA group.
Another observation is that I woke up one morning to meet one of the LIFEPO4 ba3 dead,no thanks to consistent absence of sun energy for about 4days and was still using it like that hence the failure. All thanks to @Juo whom I bought them from, who directed me on how to re-awake the BMS on the dead LIFEPO4 ba3.Ever since then,it has been firing on all cylinders......
Imagine it was My earlier SMA LA Ba3s,your guess would be as good as mine.....
So again,i say taste and see.......

Yes I am using Pi. I intend to use ESPhome on HA, with an ESP32 so I am using serial to RS485 converter to connect to the ESP32 so that ESPhomes on HA can see it as a device.
As for the Axpert, mine has a Usb port, can't remember if it ever came with a cable. It looks like I can use a FT232R to also connect the same way with the ESP32
I will still need that node red file you talked about. I can send you mail if you want
ebocoms:
Raspberry Pi, Epever communication cable (USB - RS485) and communication cable for your Axpert inverter.
Okay boss, I will check for solpiplog and see how it fits into the above.

ojeysky:
Since it's axpert you can use solpiplog to send data to emoncms. Search for solpiplog on this thread to see where I have talked about it previously.

Thanks a lot. I will really appreciate that

I am first interested in the hardware part of the connection for the communication to happen. Are there interface options to select from.

ebocoms:
You will need Node-red to send both data to Emoncms to have a single dashboard. I can forward you my Node red json file that combines my Axpert inverter and Epever CC.

Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by ojesymsym: 11:13am On Sep 08, 2022
If you look at your diagram very well, you will see that it does actually terminates on the battery terminal or at best, the schematic is made to look like a bus bar.
What is however very significant is that the grid input passes through the charge controller before going out into the inverter. This is really nice.
Line diagrams are usually drawn to simplify understanding, as long as the terminals are at the same potential, you can always do your connection at any of the available points. The rule of thumb however is to make it easy to understand when troubleshooting, so ideally, you would want the different polarities to be as near as possible so that it is easy to know where they terminate.

contease:
@Ojeysky, let me allow you read the diagram and details from the datasheet then let me know if it's still not clear to youbro... Things are indeed fast changing in my opinion...

Let me share parts of the datasheet...

Many thanks and respect to the one I rather call "Prof" I met here... His been providing me priceless guides from the day one i started this venture with 6car batteries... Prof, thank you so much, may your batteries keep producing same power from day one till end of life! Lol... Thank you so much. You know I appreciate you Prof!

Capacity test is 280ah from the 300ah. Was used electric vehicle before. Price is $75 before shipping.

Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by ojesymsym: 8:11pm On Sep 07, 2022
You have been very helpful.
Thank you
ojeysky:
My system spec is in my signature. While lithium can easily do 1C, I make it a rule not to do above 0.3C of my battery capacity so I will not service that you run your load above 0.5C which in your case will be 140A @24v and yes thats more than enough for a face hotplate but ofcourse it will depend on how long you are cooking for.....
In summary it's all about knowing your battery capacity and managing it accordingly to your needs.

I do not think Meristem is doing this on purpose. I think what happened was that FBN and Honeywell changed registrars from First Registrars to Meristem and Atlas Registrar respectively.
So any one with those shares has to fill their forms with Meristem and Atlas for those shares if they do not previously have your data.

Not just that trick. They do it to people who have already filled the form and have even started recieving dividends fron their bank accounts.
In my case, my Fbnh had since been mandated and i have beenngetting dividends for over 3years.

If you have a load beyond 500w going 12v makes more economic sense...by the way kWh is not unique to lithium it's a unit that is applicable to power measurement

This new kid in the block called 12Vsystem, that you guys are now praising to high heavens, I hope people realize that the cable size requirement is higher than for systems with higher voltages?
For me, with LA, I prefer 24V, mostly because 2 batteries are cheaper to replace than 4 batteries for a simple system, but now that lithium uses KWh, perhaps 48V may begin to sound a little more appealing
