Christianity Etc › Re: Is A Reverend Father Qualified To Give Advice On Marital Crisis? by Okudiover(m): 11:01am On Aug 30, 2020 |
Kiddo01: I've been thinking about this and so I decided to bring it here.
A friend of mine has been having issues with his wife for some time now. He said that the Parish Priest has advised both of them but without positive result.
But I keep wondering, is it that both parties do not want to settle their differences or is the reverend father actually giving the needed council? Is the reverend father who has not married before qualified to give advice on marital crisis? What do you think In reply to your question let me ask another question. Is a medical doctor qualified to treat tuberculosis having not suffered from it before? |
Education › Re: Students Protest Against Closure Of Tertiary Institutions by Okudiover(m): 5:48pm On Aug 18, 2020 |
RudyNerdy: can't The FG sacked and dissolve that use less ASUU chairman and probably get the bastard arrested and jailed? Gosh things like this makes me really value military Regime This ASUU you chide so much is by far the most resilient workers union this country has ever seen. Right from the days of OBJ in the 70s, Shagari, Buhari, IBB, Shonekan, Abacha (most especially), OBJ again, Yar Adua, GEJ and now Buhari again. Let me tell you if not for ASUU over the years the little reforms seen in the educational sector at the tertiary levels would not have been possible. Is it ETF, Tertfund or enhanced salary scale would not have been possible. Now it is evident that ASUU was right all along to have rejected the IPPIS scheme because the problems now associated with it's implementation which was raised initially is evident for all to see. From over taxation beyond what was attainable to unexplained cut and unremittance of pensions. If you like lock the national executive up without trial that strike will go on as long as we the ASUU deem it necessary. As a student that I was in 1996, General Abacha directed the then minister of education Saleh (I think) whom himself was a lecturer at BUK, Kano as well as the state military administrators not only to withhold salaries an other emoluments of lecturers but to sack all who did not resume duty and drive them out of the universities' staff quarters across the country. The then minister of education went ahead to announce that on the sack of the striking workers that they would employ lecturers from Niger republic among other African countries. Two days later the ASUU national chairman Prof Asobie, published an editorial showing what lecturers earned in 7 African countries including Niger, Botswana, Egypt, South Africa, Ghana, Cameroon and Uganda. The least was 7 times his Nigerian counterpart in dollar terms. That publication so angered the FG they ordered for the arrest of the newspapers officials and ASUU executives. The strikes between 1992 and 1996 were particularly terrible in it's immediate consequences then. The striking sequence were as follows: July-Sept 1992. (2months) April-Nov 1993 (7months) July 1994 - Feb 1995. (9 months) In all I lost I year, others at LASU lost 2 years. The government over the years have paid little attention to the plight of education as a whole in Nigeria. It hasn't fared any better even now. Estimating 8% of your country's budget to education is still below the benchmark of 26% as recommended by UNESCO. You should hold your elected accountable to your current state and not ASUU. |

I hope this be a lesson to anyone holding any form of power, either in your small office or in the government house. You are ignorant. What has he got to be ashamed of? For reporting things as he saw them? No wonder thieves are in power. Nigerians will always get the kind of leaders they deserve for being too docile even with 210 million people. Sanusi is a man ahead of his generation and his own people. At least you now know why they fear western education. |

Imo people and indeed discerning Nigerians are still shocked that a governor won an election (according to the supreme court) without a single a member of house of assembly elected on his party platform. Where in the world has that ever happened? Pure thievery!
The lawmakers should give you the boot, fast fast. Onye ohi! You have forgot to mention the contradiction between the electoral laws and the Supreme Court intepretation on the matter as regards what constitutes valid votes. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Father Mbaka Invokes God's Judgement On Those Who Speak Evil Against Him by Okudiover(m): 7:40am On Jan 20, 2020 |
BlackBovi: The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry in Enugu, southeast Nigeria, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, has released a new prophecy on those against him for predicting the sack of Emeka Ihedioha as Imo Governor.
TheNation reports that Father Mbaka came under attacks since the emergence of Hope Uzodinma as the governor of Imo State, released the dangerous prophecy on social media network, Facebook.
If you have powers to curse, you should have cursed the politrictians who are looting us silly, instead you wine and dine with them. But here you are attempting to curse people whose only crime is having common sense. Go siddon dutty.Nonsense and ingredients!!
In the prophecy, Father Mbka declared judgment on those who accused him of dishing out fake prophecies.
The Adoration Ministry Spiritual Director in a post on the Ministry’s Facebook page maintained that his prophecies were from God and not an evil altar.
Declaring the blessings of God on his followers, the cleric said those who called him a politician will not escape God’s judgment.
“I bless the name of the Most High God because He said it and it came to pass.
“My prophecy is not borrowed or from any evil altar but from God Almighty, the creator of heaven and earth,” he said.
Speaking further, Mbaka added: “Some accused me of being a politician but only God knows who I am. Let God of Adoration speak for me. You who speak evil against me, hmmm… God of Adoration is a consuming fire. I declare judgment upon those who curse me for nothing. My hands are clean.
” I bless those who know the truth and stand for it. Let God of Elijah fight for me. Let the heaven speak and let the children of God receive their all-round blessings, in Jesus's mighty name!
“The Lord is taking you to a level even your enemy cannot reach. This will be your year of abundance. Everything you ask in your prayer will be in abundance, in Jesus mighty name,” Father Mbaka declared.

distributeinc: He is breaking the statutes against homosexuality or promoting it, the Police can't just watch him break the laws, even though he entertains you vain lot Have the police charged him (or her) to court for having same sex relations as being peessumed by many? If that is what they have in mind do they possess the requisite proof? If they charge him for being a cross dresser how are the charges going to stick? Since there are yet no laws against that existing in Nigeria at the time of his arrest. When Buhari's junta jailed fela for 5 years in 1984, the charge wasn't for being critical of gunment..... sorry government but for currency trafficking. Currency trafficking in the sense that they found a few undeclared pounds in his possession on his return from a UK tour. He was tried by a military tribunal not a civilian court. In a civilian court any judge would give him an aquittal on grounds that the undisclosure was an oversight as the money (just a few paltry pounds) was not sufficient to warrant a weighty sentence on a first time offender and probably issue a warning and a fine at the very most. In other words the police better come up with legal reasons to doing what they did. It is not enough for me that they dance on populist tunes to arrest bob di kwa risky however disagreeable his methods maybe to most people. #copied |

In furtherance to your assertion, Sullivan Chime, the immediate past governor of Enugu state, himself a christian demolished a church (MFM) whose structure was built on a river against the approved state plan. If anybody has a case he should go to court. He had since built a bridge in that location hence reducing the agonizing traffic once felt there. |

FreeSpirited: I swear to God I hate that rubbish. A lot of married women are fond of that nonsense. Whatever rift that might have ensued, even after trying to reconcile it, some wives still continue to deny their husband of sex.
To me I'm not ready to keep negotiating for sex because one woman is perpetually angry, bitter or has lost sexual appetite for me.
Instead of continuing to beg or cajole my wife for sex, which is a very annoying thing I believe will always hurt my ego, I will rather go out, fvck myself to stupor by cheating with a hot banging asss. And I won't even bat an eyelid cos I will feel justified. Though I'm still single, but by the time I marry, I'm not ready to put up with that nonsense for long. How can u control me with sex, a whole head of the family. Not gonno happen...
So married men...how do you cope? what's your advice especially for women that are fond of denying their husband sex , maybe I could learn one or two.? Why ask for advice when you have mentioned the solution. If you don't bang other babes na for heaven or hell you go do am? Anyway I will go a step further by starving her of money and subsequently drive her out of my home. Nonsense! |

You have no idea. If you have that much experience in committing suicide how come you are still alive? |
