Yeah, let see the double face. Or is it multiple?

Hi david! That is too much! Yet, it is true.

@poster,
if you are not serious, nobody would take you serious. You are turning yourself into a clown, a real life comedian. Even comedians know when to be serious.

Trust. That is all. But I don't trust blindly. However, it must be mutual trust.

Maybe he is a chamelon. Today is clean, tomorrow he is opposite. Or like earlier said, maybe it is attitude problem.
RomanceRe: Could This Be True? by olanajim(m): 3:20pm On Nov 04, 2007
Yimi was right. I have heard and seen with my own eyes girls that can be wild and still abstain from sex. It may sound silly to an outsider, but I have come to realise that being a party gal isn't enough reason to label a gal as loose. If a lady say she is something, I give her the benefit of doubt. I always have a way of finding out the truth without experimenting.
RomanceRe: Why Are Guys/men Not Use To Using Deodorant by olanajim(m): 3:07pm On Nov 04, 2007
Akaye,
points taken.

I am not Mr Clean o! I smell like rotten eggs.

My point is clear, many people that use deodorant in excess are smelling like shits. Why not do your research well. But those who don't have odour would not commit suicide just because they ran out of stock. Or because they don't use one. I know what I saying.

For your information, I think there is a minor difference btweem deodorants and perfumes. I don't know if I am right but I personally make distinction base on their original purpose.

Finally, I insist when people have to rely heavily on deodorants then something is wrong beneath.

RomanceRe: Why Are Guys/men Not Use To Using Deodorant by olanajim(m): 12:26pm On Nov 04, 2007
Exactly. All I have to do is put my nose in the freezer, that way, I smells you! It would be a waste of money for you to add deodorant. It would freeze as ice.
RomanceRe: Girls, Why The Protruding Tummy by olanajim(m): 12:22pm On Nov 04, 2007
Exactly. Thank you jare!

In fact, ladies with protruding tommies are favoured when class come to play. Flat Tommies are cheap and attract little or no attention especially when covered. Unless the owner has eye catching apples on her chest.

However protruding tommies can be expensive to maintain. With or without cover, you won't help but notice it.

Finally, you can touch a flat tommies accidentally and still get official pardon, maybe with embarasing smile. But dare to touch a protruding tommy accidentally and thunder will strike before the owner ever look at your face. In other word, they both carry different hazard.

@poster,
since you can't help but stare at those tommies, I advise you to let it remain starring business. LOOK BUT DON'T TOUCH! God bless your sight as you continues counting the number of our pregnant women!
RomanceRe: Why Are Guys/men Not Use To Using Deodorant by olanajim(m): 12:07pm On Nov 04, 2007
Yeah, I agreed o! There are really people like that. But not everyone. However, can you say because you are hungry and want to satisfy your hunger, you would be eating your own shit? Yet some guys actually do that.

Lest I forget, the poster asked why some guys don't use deodorant. So the intention is clear.

Being in humid environment is not an excuse to stink and waste money on deodorants when the real problem is hygiene. At times it could be medical.

@iice,
you don't use deodorants? But I can smell you! Please get some of the options listed by Almon. They are fantastic.

As for me, I would get one when I want to visit my in-laws. I don't want to leave pongent odour behind. I want them to feel my perfume even after I have gone. That way, I would leave lasting impression on their noses.
RomanceRe: Help Me Please B4 Its Too Late by olanajim(m): 11:53am On Nov 04, 2007
I suspect it has to do with his pocket! This may not be the real problem but we can't ignore it. From his posting, I place a question mark of his own attitude. It really poor! Poor men with poor English can still win their in-law's approval if they have excellent attitude. For giving a one week ultimatum to a lady whose parents don't want to see you show a maginal attitude problem. A psychologist can easily detect that without cutting you to pieces.

The only way to win the parents is to win the lady convincingly. After that, you can then find out from her why they don't want to see you. Thereafter, you can evaluate your finding and see if it is worth your sweat of just a mirage. Try it and you would be glad.
RomanceRe: Girls, Why The Protruding Tummy by olanajim(m): 11:40am On Nov 04, 2007
Protruding or flat Tommy, I don't care as long as it is attractive. Beside, as ladies grow they tend to add fat to their Tommy. Trimming or Toning is good if it is reasonable. We all remember Stella Obasanjo, so we mustn't in our crave for perfection drive our ladies to their early grave. Ladies take things like this seriously hence some hapless babes out there may drive themselves mad with worry after reading this thread.

For guys who are ethernally obssessed with flat Tommy, what would you do if after she put to bed the Tommy refused to go back? Tell her to Take Stella Obasanjo option?

As for others, ever seen a man and wonder if he is carrying the whole planet in his bowel? We have them in abundant, yet we don't crucify them. In fact such men are generally love by ladies.

I have flat Tommy but I am going to do everything to pump it up as soon as possible. I envies guys in Agbada stroking their bowel as if it has life in it! Funny enough, ladies love the thrill of massaging that part of men.

Ever heard of the saying "AGBA TI O YO'KUN AHUN LONI?!" a man with flat Tommy is a Miser!

I don't believe it but it is enough for me to direct your attention at the reality.

I have a feeling the parents, especially the mother, have an issue with the guy. They don't want to tell him and the guy was probably showing a little desperation. There must be reason behind their action. The first step toward solving a problem is to know the root cause. The guy hasn't said much on that.

I accept your challenge! I just hope Ms Olanajim would come on air to reveal the intensity of my body odour. For your information, I hardly use body cream talkless of deodorant. I bought a cream last year and had recently just buy another. Yesterday to be precise! Though I am going to use this one regularly.

You see odours don't come naturally, unless you have skin problem. Being odourless doesn't mean being completely free of odour. The nature of skin make it imperative to have contact with bacteria and microbes. Under wet and dirty conditions, the microbes thrive, interact with the moisture and salt coming out of the skin pores. In a normal case, you can only have the odour as long as the skin remains in that condition. When you do strenuous exercise etc the condition are present. A normal human therefore must learn basic hygiene to ensure healthy skin. A normal dry skin is not supposed to be stinking as to warrant hourly application of deodorants.

But when you have someone smearing his body with expensive cream, and still have to apply deodorant every hour plus the perfume he sprays on his stinking body when going to meet his babe ; to top it up with Tomtom or mint or shewing gun to keep his rotten mouth fresh each time he smiles, then, I assure you with my restless mouth, that we have a mobile human epidemic on the prowl. Unfortunately, most women are easily deceived by sweet smelling deodourants on a man to detect a carcass in human form!
PoliticsRe: It Is Evident That Egbas Are In Charge In Yorubaland by olanajim(m): 8:13am On Nov 04, 2007
I have equally wonder about this too. But I must point out it is not Egba but Ogun state. When taken in that context, I just wonder why Ekiti that has highest number of intellectuals can't match Egbas. Oyo state leaders are reknown for political rascality and fighting wrong cause. Akintola, Adedibu lead the pack. Lagos state had lost her identity. Little wonder she is not part of odua investment. We read they would be integrated soon. Lagos leaders don't know how to compromise and create winning formula. Their achievements had always been motivated by none lagosian. They helped developed Area Boy syndrome and has no distinct ideology. We know Bode George, Obanikoro are typical examples. That is why they lost lagos.

As for Ondo, I wonder what they are up to. They are still growing in spite of being oil producing state. Kwara had lost her root. They are in wilderness. Their leaders had been blind folded. I wonder why Olusola, Omoniyi, Bukola etc would keep claiming they are hausas! Who says there is no muslim in Lagos, Ogun etc. Or that Hausa christains must change their tribal affliation. As for Osun state, they are still searching for their identity. Their best chance had just been condemned to history. Thanks to Etteh!

Ogun people are not the most intelligent, but they have winning mentality and know when to take control. They are opportunists and had been riding over others in National honour as a result of that quality. They don't ask for power, at least not in open. They let other states kill, rubbish and subdue themselves by greeds. In the end, motherluck tilt to their side and consequently, Ogun reaps the fruit of their greedy neighbours.
RomanceRe: Why Are Guys/men Not Use To Using Deodorant by olanajim(m): 7:33am On Nov 04, 2007
Why generalize? I think only men with hygiene problems should be derided. I don't need deodourant because God had bless me with odourless body. And I know many men don't stink as the poster tried to portrait. If you treat your body well, bath regularly, and eat the right food etc, you won't have to carry deodorant everywhere.

To me, men who had habit of using deodorant (not perfume) have serious hygiene problem. I once shared room with this cassanova guy who invested fortune on deodourants. He smells nice in the day but his body odour kept us awake at nights. I can't stand it! I think women who reason as the poster did stinks the more hence they can't imagine a man may be odourless.

Frankly, too much deodourant application by men should be suspect. Like my roomate mentioned earlier, hes was a medical problem. I left his house because of the odour but ladies love him and kept coming.

That is women for you.

RomanceRe: My Wife Tricked Me To Marry Her by olanajim(m): 5:49pm On Nov 03, 2007
this is really serious! it is one reason why we must always by on alert while dating. It is another reason why we must care to find out about background of our intending partner. when we take a man or woman home, our parents begins asking series of questions most times, we started defending our partners before the anqwers are given. We tried to paint pictures of a saint from the eden. We try to oppose any incriminating questions and in the end our parents let go.

Now after the wedding, we later realises that a lot had been hidden from out view. then regret set in. and then, trouble, turbulennce marriage.If you have had a court nmmarriage more trouble looms.

@poster,

what kind of marriage did you do? what is the level of her insanity? And what is her persent state?

Between 2004 and 2005, I lived with a couple who are very influencial and famous. In all the time, I never know anything about the family yet, i sleep with them and eat with them until I was about leaving. i later found out that the woman who had a chieftaincy title had a mental history. That last months I spent with them showed me something about love. love. but i would not be quick in anwering your question until I know more about the case. you cannpot leave her now. You have enjoyed her, she wasnt mad all the time you slept with her and gave her flowers. I believe this is a test for you. you have to brace it up. you have to do something. We need more information before we can give exact advice. no body with mind would ask you to leave her just like that.

i am really sorry, faith can stand by you, hold your peace and be patience, god will see you through if you have faith and courage.
RomanceRe: Supper Happy Bugs! by olanajim(op): 1:07pm On Nov 03, 2007
People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within." – Ramona L. Anderson

Therefore I propose that the first and the greatest secret to being happy is to build a solid mental attitude starting from within. No human can help you to achiece happiness in life without your willingness. And you will never be willing to recieve happiness unless you have conditioned your mind to receive it. you must have positive mental attitude.

Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.

I look on that man as happy, who, when there is question of success, looks into his work for a reply.

still more to come. for now, YOU MUST HAVE A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTIYUDE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE, LEARN TO FAKE HAPPINESS.

I think the best way out is a new election. I am sure that Mr Rotimi Amaechi is after all an illegal occupant to the seat. If what chief Gani fawehinmi said is anything to go by, then a new legal battle is inevitable unless other candidates adopted Amaechi as Governor.

RomanceRe: Men Need To Feel Understood by olanajim(m): 12:51pm On Oct 27, 2007
That is indeed an extreme case. The guy have personality. I had once a lady who wanted to have her ways and styles. From music to food and then how you walk etc I was like she need a programmable robot and I am stubborn type. I had to lied to her that I was engaged to another lady. Well she left and I was relieved of a big burden.

While we can never be perfect, we must be willing to understand other person before we try to effect a change. I love ladies that can tell you that you are wrong without offending you. I always look out for what to learn and not a programmer.

The questions to be asked in this topic are:

1. What is/are the best way to effect a change in a man/woman without offending his/her sensibility?

2. Can there be compromised? How do you achieve that without losing your own identity?

3. What are the things to look for and how do you handle a stubborn partner?

Methink, many relationships had broken down or never get to a start because of the inabilities of partners to understand one another and make sensible compromise where necessary.

Let set the ball rolling and see if we can bridge the gap. I know many people would benefit from this thread.
