RomanceRe: Women, Are they That Powerful? by olanajim(m): 2:01pm On Sep 10, 2007
Mcdoe,
that is a misleading definition you know. Everybody man or woman has what it take to get anything. Only the lazy fellow would not use it. The road to that usage is believing. I therefore reject your definition "in toto and totality"!

Please give us a better definition of a lady woman. Anybody in the forum may help him. I would be disappointed if that is what seun mean by lazy women. I hope he is reading.
RomanceRe: Would You Date A Celebrity Even If: by olanajim(m): 1:49pm On Sep 10, 2007
Naja Haje,
you once wear the shoe, I think you know better. Those celebs have problems with their ego. I think govt in every responsible countries should as a matter of urgency establish a reformatory school for them. Once a man or woman become a STAR he must be adimited straight into that school and assigned a professional counsellor who would mentor him or her for thd next ten years!

The star should then be subjected to behavorial test to ascertain their fitness to live an independent live among sane people. If he/she fail, then must carryover for the next five years.

Why I propose these measures? Methink since many of our youths see many of these successful failures as a role models, we must take a measure at checking their influence on them to avert wildspread infections! Fancy a good child aiming to become another Mike Tyson in spite of the pain the later gave the world. Yet, milions of youths see the Rascal as Role Model! Then, there is Sharon Stone, to mention but few examples of those dimming STARS.

Secondly, we are helping them  (stars) against their own poisons. At least the fortunes would be better spent on posive ventures. Their 'dimming stars' could then be re-kindle to illuminate the youths.

And if anyone refused to go into rehab? Simple, there should be law banning them from appearing on any public show or films meant for public consumption.

By taking these extreme measures, we would be saving them from contracting egolomanipsycological disorder of their frailed character. We are also saving our youths from being infected by that madness.

Meanwhile, if anybody want to marry a celeb, please let the celeb take compulsory character test to assess his/her fittness for conjugal copulation.

Acid drop,
I am still learning. Thanks.
PoliticsRe: Bin Laden Urges Americans To Convert by olanajim(m): 10:41am On Sep 10, 2007
It is a pity that in the name of freedom we sometimes ridicule the name of God. Only an ignorant would claim not to know that Allah mean God.

While we recognize that Bin Laden has commited alot of condemnable acts even as muslims leaders join forces to track him down, we must as a matter of decency respect Islam as a religion even if we don't believe in it.

The number one reason why Bin Laden have won sympathy of muslims in general is our inability to seperate terrorism from jihad and the tendency to abuse muslims and their faith when muslims are found wanting.

There is an urgent need for us to stop generalising about muslims and cease blaspheming the name of God, whatever language it is pronounced.

RomanceRe: Why Do People Cheat In Relationships? by olanajim(m): 7:14am On Sep 10, 2007
Cheating has a predictable partern. All we need do, both cheater and cheated, is to look out for them. Some people don't set out to cheat. They are tempted and responded. We must all be alert.
RomanceRe: Would You Date A Celebrity Even If: by olanajim(m): 7:09am On Sep 10, 2007
Celebs allow fame to get to their heads. They overact their script from abstract to reality. They are not all bad. However, that most of them don't even last in their own conceived relationship. They keep falling madly in and out of love reducing love to a mere game.

Sadly, divorce rate is even more prevalence among celebs. So bad that some of them marry more than three times in their life time. Yet, they end up as single parents. Who would marry such educated ignorants? Sure, we enjoy their screen plays. They are nothing but comic strips in most cases. We love them, adore them and long to have them. But, we don't want to share their fantasia with them if they act it in real life.

With all the millions they earn, they are mostly a successful failures at the tail end of their career.

Some of them look back, and start counting the amount expended in rehabs, stupid court cases, divorce, image laundary, cosmetics, jamboree trips, failed love, abortion, drugs, recalcitrants wayward offsprings, family problems etc etc.

Who would marry that kind of people knowing that their life partern have a predictable perilous end? I beg, let them marry one another if they want to model a new world.

I admit, there are few exception to this. Very few indeed. We know them, by their family stabiliy and level headedness.

I hope the bad eggs among them would stop blaming the press for their failure.

Iice,
I know something for sure: you won't revenge if anybody hurt you. I also know that as far as my mirror is concerned you have nothing to avenged. I gave you a lively mirror. Not 'jigibola'. So I am living with cheerful heart.

Ariblaze,
full of what? I hope positive! Left to you. I got your biker theory. It sank deeper than you think. Just remember, a biker must never sleep while riding.

He won't fall but, he may have to feel the pains for ages if he collide with a trailer. You can see, you still need me!
RomanceRe: Ladies Whats Your Criteria by olanajim(m): 6:22pm On Sep 09, 2007
Ariblaze,
at 80+ I must surely have seen the lenght and breath of the world. I have been hurt and the wound healed. I have wonderful testimony to recite.

Wooo, I had been using my mirror over 50 years. So, I fear no hurt. I fear nothing but fear. I am the beloved of a living God. I was given an invisible mirror to gauge your personality, your character. To heal you and not to hurt you.

Fear not for your granny is my closed associate.

Hei, iice, I have not seen acid drop lately. Hope she is in good care?
RomanceRe: Ladies Whats Your Criteria by olanajim(m): 6:10pm On Sep 09, 2007
Just warn him to focus on the criteria. Yot don't need nobody to ravenge for you. Do you?

Come to think of it, he is a wonderful guy. If I were a lady, and married, I would divorce my bobo and marry him. Though with conditions. Fortunately, I am a man. I don't need him! All I need now is for him to make naija great. Together, we can make it happen.
RomanceRe: Ladies Whats Your Criteria by olanajim(m): 6:00pm On Sep 09, 2007
That is a fair judgement. He really take after you-unrelenting, pesistent. You can see him chasing me all over the threads trying to avenge the same wahala I gave you while researching your creed.

I just have to warn him my mirror can hurt his eyes if he look toooo much.

Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Are There More Men Than Women In Nigeria? by olanajim(m): 5:29pm On Sep 09, 2007
Iice' words made sense. If you could meditate on it, you would find elements of truth in them.

On my part, I would support her by asking this question: if indeed two-third of our planet, is water, how come there is water shortage worldwide?

The answer to that question would answer your question.
Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Olanajim ~ The Philosophical Motivator. This Is For You. by olanajim(m): 5:16pm On Sep 09, 2007
I know a lot of African American are yearning for reunion.

They have done Africa proud out there. Let just hope the African govt do something positive and provide a fertile ground for everyone.

It is a thing of joy to know that African are living it up. Yet, we need to find a way of making everyone feel at home.

I dream of an African nation where Nigeria would be the soul of it survival. A continent when, everyone would be proud to visit. A continent, where hunger, war, corruption, militancy, diseases would be discribed in past perfect tenses.

Oh glory to mother Africa. Victory to Nigeria and Nigerians!!!

Soon, we shall all smile in the mighty name of God.
