nothing u mentioned sounded like putting down adewest. i guess some members have problem with understandibg english. still, ADEWEST IS VERY VERY GOOD! there's a difference between someone that does it for money and those that do it because they enjoy it. adewest and some of us here do it because we enjoy it.

haaaaaaaaaaaa, shame on you. for your info, adewest is sharing his know-how and i did call for people to come and witness the installation, i guess the 1500 price tag pissed some people off.

you need precision tools to make your work easier. the sooner you learn that, the faster your installation will be. i have personally been ablke to learn from adewest. you can not go arround being anti-technology when it's there to make things easier

for instance, to be able to do what he has beena ble to do, you need skills in carpentry, weldering , electrical installation etc. u need to the difference in the final Job that he did. you should see the imporoved tripple LNB holder. More grease to his elbow.

just like Tox, we were able to lock down eurobird, hotbird and a bit of astra, inclusive of my now much better NILESAT and all the other usual birdfs. now i can fully maximize my echolink. we were so busy that i forgot about documenting with photos and videos. I guess that I got carried away with the whole work.

on the overall, it was nice meeting adewest, ekoonibaje and toxnaija for the first time. i sincerely hope that i was a good host to you guys.

apply the patch leave it on the aljazeera channel for about a minute. it works.

have you connected the jack. before doing that you need to secure a satellite in the east which you have done and another in the west, i suggest nss7, once that is done. connect your jack and test for both, the rest will fall in line.

i had a pleasant visit from the field marshall himself. F_Marshall  on holiday in Naija from the US and true to his words, he dropped by at my humble abode. he asked of everyone that i know, Badaru, Enitan, OLA, TOX etc and filled him in. he's  such nice gentleman, a true satenthusiast. many thanks for the visit sir.

meant for toxnajia but answer provided by me.

echolink will probably be useless to you for now because i do not know of any package receivable on 1.8m dish that the decoder can emulate. you might want to get a bigger dish and once you are ab;e to tracks birds like nilesat, hotbird, eurobird etc. you stand to gain a lot from the decoder with these packages. we might never never know though is support might be provided for packages close to you but for now, there's none.

You will need a really big Dish to get that channel or maybe move to Russia. am thinking maybe like a 4-6m dish.
