In his remarks at the NEC. President Buhari warned that if not arrested, the crises in the party would lead to its disintegration. He had, therefore, admonished all litigants in the party to withdraw all pending litigations against one another, and settle for internal conciliation.[/quote]I have highlighted a few lines in the President's speech, that needs attention! Any neophyte would have clapped for Buhari, based on this speech and thought he was really interested in the success of APC, the party that brought him out of political obscurity and made him a two-term President. But no one is fooled here, except someone who cannot read between the lines or wants APC to play into the hands of PDP. Let us examine his "crocodile tears", line by line: "Buhari said he was disappointed that a serving APC governor could be driven to the point of leaving the party and aligning with the opposition and wants Edo state brought back to APC in September. Really?  *The rancour between Oshiomole and Obaseki, has been on for more than one year now. *The Court cases and Counter Court cases between both of them has been on for so many months, t *The hijack by Gaidom and the insitgated sack of Oshiomole at his ward has all been going on for Months but the President turned a deaf ear and was just recieving courtesy visits from each of the warring party. he never FOR ONCE, say "STOP IT". Infact, the President was hiding under the FACADE of "Non-interference in Party Politics" to justify his inaction and people were hailing this duplicitous, back-stabbing President! Even when Obaseki threatened to leave for the PDP, just after his disqualification by the Screening Committee, he pretended as if he didnot see or hear any evil. But it took the President less than 24hrs to call a meeting of the Party, Sack the NWC of APC and its Chairman (Oshiomole) and consitute an Interim Management Committee led by a NORTHERNER., one must wonder what he was waiting for, all this while and why the sudden volte-face? *One must wonder why his matra of "Non-interference in Party Politics", suddenly assumed the swash-buckling emergency of a miltary dictator? *One must wonder if he just realised that Obaseki and Edo state has slipped into the hands of PDP? *The TRUTH of the matter is that all these APC CRISIS are the handy-work of the President. Tkae that to the bank. *The TRUTH is that Mr. President's ACTION shows that he was actively and passively encouraging the destruction of APC, in the last one year. *The TRUTH is that Mr. President sees s STRONG APC as an OBSTACLE to his PLAN to ensure that he is succeeded by A NORTHERNER, in 2023, hence his scheme to plan and allow the APC IMPLODE on itself. President Buhari is like a "HUSBAND" with TWO WIVES who watches THE ONLY TWO children of THE FIRST WIFE (20yr and 22yr old, male) fighting and said nothing! He watched till the fight degenerated to the Point where one of them pulled a Knife and threaten to kill the other! He said Nothing!! When the one with a Knife has stabbed his brother to death, Mr. President 'the father' busted out in righteous anger and called the Police to come and take him away to face the death penalty for murder. Now, who is gullible enough to not see that the "father" was just waiting for the Children to get rid of themselves, so he can get rid of their Mother, his first wife? The First wife is "Southern Nigeria", the second Wife is "Northern Nigeria" and the two Children are "Southern warring parties" like Obaseki, Oshiomole, Gaidom, etc, who are members of APC. Who cannot see that Buhari intentionally allowed the dsagreement in APC to degenerate to the point of "self destruction" by its warring Southern Members, before he siezed the oppeortunity to sieze the party? - Did he just wake up or he was just bidding his time? Buhari knows that a vibrant and cohessive APC is definitely going to WIN the 2023 Presidential election but the problem is that after he has used the consensus slot of the North to have the first eight years shot at the Presidency, 2023 is the turn of the South to have its own slot for the next Eight years and that is what Buhari was trying to scuttle, by waiting patiently, as the fight festerred, only to come in when the damage has already been done. As it is, once the APC is fractured enough (and if not enough, Buhari will complete its collapse, now that he has hijacked the party from its most influential Southern members), the party cannot win the next Presidential election, and keeping to the Power rotation agreement is now useless to the people of Southern Nigeria because Buhari will simply shift his weight behind the revived PDP, (which is poised to put foreward a Northern Candidate) while pretending, as he is doing in this Letter of Address, to be interested in the progress of the APC. At the end of the day, APC will put forward a Southern candidate but the party would have been too weakened by Buhari, to pose any challenge to the Northern candidate put forward by PDP and the North would BY DEFAULT, rule for another Eight years after Buhari's tenure, making a TOTAL OF SIXTEEN YEARS IN POWER. It can only get worse as 2023 gets closer and if the NEPOTISM of Buhari in the last five years is anything to go by, if the destruction wrought on Southerners and the Middle belt, by his terrorist, IMPORTED Fulani Herdsmen is anything to go by, if the manner he loots the South, for the development of the North only, is anything to go by, SOUTHENR NIGERIANS ARE IN FOR UNIMAGINABLE DANGEROUS TIMES AND THE NORTHERNISATION and FULANISATION AGENDA WILL ENJOY FULL IMPLEMENTATION, irrespective of whether it is atiku or another Northerner that suceeds Buhari. Buhari shoudl stop attempting to pull the wool over the eyes of Southerners and Middle belters, we know his plan and we are watching him keenly, he should be assured of FAILURE! I urge all SOUTHERNERS and MIDDLE BELTERS to see this as an EXISTENTIAL THREAT and not let minor issues and 'bone throwing' be used to distract them. A House divided against itself can never stand. Oshiomole and Obaseki should think beyond their personal Ego. The Governor and Deputy Governor in Ondo should think beyond their personal interests and ego, they should remeber that Northerners SIT DOWN to allocate Governorships and other juicy posts, without fighting themselves or inviting Southerners to come and settle quarrel for them. Buhari is a WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING. DONT FALL FOR HIS SCHEMINGS. If he has the interest of the APC at heart, he would have used the same "Authority" he wielded to call a 'virtual meeting', dismantle the NVC and appointed caretaker Commttee, more than SIX Months ago but he deliberately allowed things to go past the point of No-Return., to make reconcilliation impossible. Good Southerners in the APC must now scratch their head, sheath their Sword and take their party back from this Buhari. Remember that his inconsequential CPC has failed him three times and if not for the support of APC (and especially the ACN merger), he would never had been President till he dies and now, he has sort to destroy the same APC. Beware of Buhari, Beware of the Wolf in Sheep's clothing. Southern Nigerians and the Middle Belters must band together, bury their differences, bury personal greed and selfishness and ensure that they are not misruled again, in 2023, by another Northerner, not even in the PDP. SmartProf:Certainly, Jagaban is smarter than to make such statement, even though it could be true that he spent a lot financially and politically, to get Buhari elected, the story was designed to increase any seeming gulf between the President and the Jagaban. Having said that, as someone who voted for Buhari, l dont need a soothsayer to say that he is an ingrate, a tribal clansman a nepotistic leader and someone who is only concerned about his Fulani Clan rulling for another eight years after him. Buhari has intentionally ensured that problems brewed in APC, from the Amosun/APC issue in Ogun State, the Okorocha, his in-law Vs APC in Imo, to Obaseki Vs Oshiomole problems in Edo State. Buhari allowed the wounds to fester long enough, to cause a lot of bad blood in the party. Byt why would a President who had zero chance of being elected in the first place, (after three failed attempts) want to destroy the party that gave him two terms? The answer lies in 2023 Presidential Election! APC is made up of an alliance of Buhari's little known CPC in the North and the ACN party, which is well established and controls so many states, especially in the South West. The AGREEMENT was to allow the Presidency go to the NORTHERN NIGERIA First (through Buhari) for TWO TERMS and then ROTATE to the SOUTHERN NIGERIA after that in 2023, by selecting a Southerner as the APC party representative in the election. What Buhari is doing is detroying the APC, to ensure that it either cannot produce a SOUTHERNER as its presidential aspirant in 2023 or even if it does, it will BE TOO WEAK and FRACTURED TO WIN that election in 2023. That way, he will switch his support to any other party (most like the PDP) that puts forward a Northerner as its Presidential aspirant in 2023. With the END RESULT that a Northerner will lord it over the South again, for another 8years, making sixteen years of Northern rule, one after the other. Buhari is deliberately making the APC implode on itself and this is a very wicked act of an ingrate And if we go by the Nepotism and neglect of the Southern Nigerian regions, compared to how all Southern Resources, the External Loans and foreign AIDS have been concentrated in developing the North, under Buhari, we would see that the Southern Nigeria regions are in for a very terrible time, shoudl that plot of Buhari be allowed to manifest. Southerners need to be smart, sheath their sword now and come together. Tinubu also needs to surpress any Presidential ambition he may have (though l doubt that he is really serious about ever becoming Nigeria's President as he doesnot have that national Appeal), and COME TOGETHER to challenge this Plot of Buahri to Nothernise Nigeria completely. Northern Nigerians already hold ALL the important positions in this country, due to Buhari's nepotism and abolition of the "Federal Character" in the consitutuion and have strategically placed Northerners in all the next five-steps succession roles in all Federal Agaencies so, allowing Buhari to manipulate another Eight Years of Northern domination of the Southern Nigeria and the Middle belt, (through another eight years of Presidency in 2023) IS UNACCEPTABLE. You graduate and deployment wastes another one year! Then when it is time for job hunting, there are very few openings for millions of graduates Finally when there is an Opening, all adverts say you must be between the age of 24yrs and 26yrs! What percentage of Nigerians finish NYSC before 25yrs? Are those over 26yrs, despite being very competent, not entitled to work for a living? Since it is not a crime to seek to work, if age is the barrier through no fault of the aplicant, then they would reduce the age. Employers are too stupid at times, to see that a 30yr old can do or do better, what a 24yr old can do. The solution is for the NASS to make LAW banning the use of AGE to discriminate in Employment.
