Actually I noticed a series of alphanumeric monikers like this one on different threads i follow and its the same comment they all make. The ones I checked out where all created on the same day and have over 200 exact same comment on different threads.
I hope it's not some sort of virus

Rofemiguwa and nazablossom, I became a ninja with night vision changing Baby E at night, so she wouldn't wake up. I hate to break it to you, but 4 months is the age of never sleeping all through the night again. Apparently they are too wired to sleep. Some lucky babies sleep for 5 hours after 2am. I think they are disturbed by sleeping so close to food. I dunno, hon. I'd suggest you take to drinking your sorrows away but you're breastfeeding. I'll drink for you.

As for the rash, Sudocrem working? Give it a few days and let's see. I was tols by my knowledgeable sister (The Guru) that sometimes rashes and bedwetting may be a sign the diaper is too tight and getting too full and you need to go one size up. Those were the times I saw rashes too. Have you tried the next size and Rofemiguwa, unsnap some buttons on your cloth diapers to increase the size.

No be small cough out! The cost pinch me each time I have to pay for it but it's a worthy price to pay for our babies well-being.

Even though many mums still feel it's not necessary me I no fit take that chance o.

Added benefit is my babys teething was hassle free just woke up each time to see white caps emerging with no fuss or illness.
All that money for one injection and that child is there, screaming and being fussy all day long and clinging and wailing. And I have long short wooden eba mixing spoons in this house.. to beat her just is hungry-ing me.

I'm actually making an effort Ma, thanks for your advice I'll work on it.
Don't blame her mother, if my daughter had a baby with a guy and they were living together with no seeming sign of commitment, I'd do the same in her shoes. At least let us know where he stands so she can make plans for her life with or without him. Speak to them, get a few family members and pay the bride price and carry small money for the family and take some drinks. Take her to Registry afterwards. If you can afford upkeep, then there is enough to wed her. If you don't want to wed her, let her know. Saves both of you stress and bitter fights in the long run.

I believe your baby is still in Nigeria, Sir. The thread is really informative as I find myself in a similar dilemma, though she is my gf and we have a son. We lived together for a time before militants conflict in ikorodu created a separation and she has to go back home to her parents. Now, the mother who is also from somewhere in Delta said I must come and pay her bride price before she comes back home. Although I have plans of such I can't afford it at the moment. What runs through my mind now is whether to move on with my life and forget about baby and mama (while sending some form of child support) or persevere (single parenting is tough on both child and mother).
Do you want to marry her? If you do, go and pay her bride price, it is not necessary to do a lavish ceremony. Explain to her parents, all you need so do is bring the bride price and pay for her people. Ask them if they prefer to keep their daughter in their home as a single mother waiting for a lavish ceremony or will they prefer their daughter be made a wife in a quiet manner. But this one that your mind has already gone to moving on with your life without making an effort, so easily, na wa for our young men...

My favourite show is "Nina and the Neurons" because it teaches science to under 6 years old with experiments. Every time I watch it, I realise how little I learned in school. I'm actually going to buy the DVD for madam. Even Himself has started watching it too. Just imagine if your daughter goes "Mummy, that's a Velociraptor, now go away I'm reading", won't you be proud!!! mumi onegai, I miss Baby E pix. Thanks for the birthday photoshoot idea u shared some days ago. I will be taking my baby to the field to have some beautiful shots as well for his Bday.
Seriously, it always looks nicer. It takes a really good photog to light properly in a studio and have a nice background and it costs money to do so. You can haggle price better by shooting outdoors and just make sure he carries a reflector and shoot early morning or late afternoon because it gives the soft flattering lighting you need. So shoot from 3.30pm to 5pm.

Yeah, last week Monday I asked her to tell the doctors to induce the delivery. I forgot the excuse they gave. I actually never want it to go past 37 weeks
Abeg let your baby stay for 40 weeks. The West that started the practise of inducing before 40 weeks are now begging Mothers to carry their babies full term because they have seen the implications of not doing so. Nigerian Medical council will wait until later to revert back. You guys stayed 40 weeks plus 3 weeks extra, that's where the wahala came in, any good doctor who knows you are having twins will call you in at 40 weeks max and induce you. The doctor should have insisted on it. What hospital did you use, because I know several doctors who would have wheeled your wife, kicking and screaming, to the Operating Room. Abeg next time, tell your wife to join Health section, there are 2 thread there for Pregnancy and for Newborns, had you or she come there to mention she was even 40 weeks and some days with twins, we would have used screams to chase you to hospital that night. Pele

I was confused... she raise the tongue too maybe not really well... please I want to the symptoms of tongue tied.. do you think those nurses in health center can help out too in checking... please reply me.. abeg
Tongue tie will look like a thick membrane under the tongue or holding up the upper gum. Ask for the matron, older more experienced nurses can spot it easier. I know a lot of doctors won't check for it.

I don't know if you can go to her village and take it up with the elders there. I don't think they will allow her travel to Italy with the baby, especially as she will still be owing them money for her trip and has to work it off. So carry your family and trace her people in Delta and ask for your child. If all else fails, leave it to God. Girl that wants to misplace must misplace. Benin and this wahala eh!
And OP, you have k-leg. If you had been faithful to your gf, none of this would have happened.

She is good at putting off the cooker or reduce it in the process of cooking. I don't know why. Sometimes I walk into the kitchen and increase it. I have visited her family house and this is the same thing there. Breakfast is 11am in her family house. The annoying part is that you see her mom busy in the kitchen but the food is never out. The few times I slept in her family house, her mom wakes me up at night to say dinner is ready and she apologies for being late. I have watched my wife's mother cook. Sometimes I see her put off the cooker too. Washes plates and clean the kitchen up to 5 times before she finishes cooking. I don't really know how to work on my wife. This whole thing is affecting my kids too because they have to stay awake to eat before they go to bed. The worse part is that myself and my wife don't eat together most times because at the time she dishes my food, she goes back to kitchen to clean up. Sometimes when I wake up by 12 midnight or past twice, I see her in the parlor eating and watching Nigeria movie. Many times I force her to bed because she can actually stay awake till 1am
Aww man. I thought about it, it is a family thing. Habits die hard but this can be changed. But it is wrong for the kids to be eating so late and they should have an early bedtime. You have to force her to see it's affecting her productivity as a Hot lady, a Wife and a Mother. She's not spending time with you. And if she's going to bed so late, your sexx life will be out of sync. Do 3 weeks of takeout food for you and the children. If you really want to look for trouble and make things change faster, get your mother to come stay for the 3 weeks and instruct your mother to please enter the kitchen and prepare food for you and the children once mealtimes are here and she's taking her time grin. Be prepared for the fight that ensues but calmly and lovingly maintain your ground: Meals must be prepared on time. This can be changed, sit her down and insist she draws up a timetable (tell her you love her too much to allow her continue like this) of daily activities. Also, give her stuff to do, make sure she knows it's important. Nothing will fire up a change more than one personally admitting to themself "I'm failing and it seems to be my fault". When she can't make deadlines because of it, it will help not make you look like the bad guy. Give her positive reinforcement for meals on time ("Nice! Delicious dinner at 7pm, alright! High five!" )

Why does it take 5 hours to make a pot of vegetable soup huh That's weird...

She's not really planning her time well. Start with washing and cooking the meats/fish, then you pick veggies and wash and cut (and don't over wash them, some salt in the first wash and the 2nd wash and it's good and for waterleaf tear it up with your hands because it shrivels in the pot), by the time the meat is boiled, she's ready or almost ready with the veggies and one should not be boiling any leafy veggies for more than 20 mins. It should be crisp and not soggy or you're wasting your time about the nutrients.

And all that isn't a 5 hour job. Making stew takes longer. Or jollof rice. Fried rice yeah, casseroles definitely. But basic vegetable soup, nope and even then you figure out a faster method, except for fried rice, that thing is punishment. Or is she on the phone, you said you help the kids out with baths and homework, but do they have to go and meet her constantly for everything else?

Can you buy food and Indomie it for a week and just say nothing and go to bed on time? Let's see what happens.

Thanks so much. It hurt more when I went home to get some stuffs in the baby room and saw all those things we bought in pairs. Cots, wardrobe, carriers, baby car seats, and the stroller which my baby just forced me to assemble the second one just yesterday evening. When she said she might give birth anytime soon.
For pregnant people I'd like to give this advice:
It turned out the baby had been dead for over 48 hours before today. For a set of monozygotic twins(sharing same sac),the doctors thought it's a miracle there were no complications. To think we still went for checkup on last week Monday when she felt pain overnight, where the doctor advised to opt for CS that it is safer as against what people think. Especially for multiple births. She said the babies were perfectly grown and were just waiting inside. That they will be fine if delivered right away. But my wife felt she could do it by herself. It's all good though we'll get over it. I'll start deleting those pictures from her phone and dispose of those double things we won't be needing so as to make it go away quick.
I'm so sorry for what you went through. A lot of doctors will recommend CS for multiple deliveries. It is not about how strong the woman is, it is about the amount of stress the babies go through. Any baby in delivery is stressed but then some babies then go through additional stress. Sometimes they swallow meconium, sometimes they poo in-utero. CS gives a form of control over how the babies will be born, they will schedule te birth at the best possible time and be prepared for any outcome. But please take heart, you guys came out victorious. Love your wife and be very patient with her, tell her what you're feeling too. God knows best.

Dexterush, calendar and withdrawal is how I got pregnant, just saying grin. Have you tried maybe both of you go to the Gynae together and listen to what the doctor has to say? Sometimes it helps the man understand better what will happen. But if you are going to use calendar, maybe learn Billings or Schiller method. I heard they are very effective.

I recommend we talk about contraceptives also...
The type being used, noticable side effects if any, etc etc
No one shud recommend for anybody but jst state wot one is using and maybe if anyone has changed from one type to another reasons can be stated y the change so that others can learn
Okay, good one. Do you wanna share with us first smiley what did you use and how did you make the choice?

I was told by a doctor that one of the side effects for contraceptive pills (Errin) was heavy bleeding. I don't know much about the implant ones or the coils and I keep hearing about hormonal fluctuations. Also, I know someone who got pregnant on the coil.

Any other mamas?

For Kpekusing, some husbands don't feel too comfortable with lubricant. I think we should explain to them that is a hormonal change and down there feels dry. It's not about their technique. Also, emotionally, Himself helping around the house and with the baby made me feel more welcoming. It bonded us more as it didn't feel like he was coming home, sitting down, expecting dinner and then at night showing up. So that really helped.
