Christianity EtcRe: Is masturbation a sin or not? by onetrack(m): 3:14pm On Oct 20, 2012
Ayomivic: Preaching from Satan's agent.
This is kind of things people want to hear, belove beware.
Satan and God died in a horrible accident on the Lagos-Ibadan highway several years ago. I am not his agent, I am an independent contractor.
Christianity EtcRe: What Is God Called In The Arabic Translation Of The Bible? by onetrack(m): 1:44pm On Oct 20, 2012
Just like the name "John" in other languages is Johann, Iohannes, Juan, Sean, Ian, Ivan, Yaya, Giovanni, Jean, Joao. Still the same name and same origin. Pronunciation of names can change because of language limitations.

Logicboy: Yes I am an atheist, however I am glad I had a religious brainwashing education earlier in life to help me argue my case for atheism! cool
Christianity EtcRe: Is masturbation a sin or not? by onetrack(m): 10:39am On Oct 20, 2012
italo: All sex and sexual acts are to be chaneled towards procreation and the mutual self-giving of each married partner to the other. Any sexual acts outside this is a SIN. Masturbation inclusive.
Give me a clear, straightforward verse that says that m@sturbation is a sin. If it is clearly a sin then the Bible should spell it out in clear language.
Christianity EtcRe: What Is God Called In The Arabic Translation Of The Bible? by onetrack(m): 10:32am On Oct 20, 2012
maclatunji: Many Nigerian Christians are hopelessly ignorant of their religion- let's be honest. I have never seen a Nigerian Christian bearing the name Jesus- why? The answer is simple, they think that would be the equivalent of naming their child "God". However, go to the Latin World, you will find so many "Jesuses" that you would laugh at our own Christians here.

It is the same warped reasoning that prevents them from accepting that Allah is God in Arabic.
I would just point out that "Joshua" is the same as "Jesus". Jesus himself would have pronounced his name "Yeshua". Thus anyone named Joshua is named Jesus just in a different language. I have enjoyed pointing this out for years.
Christianity EtcRe: Good News To The Atheist by onetrack(m): 3:03pm On Oct 18, 2012
Prove to me that there is 1 god and not 0 or 20.

Then prove to me that this god provided the Quran and not Muhammad himself or Satan.

I can easily say in Arabic "La ilaha", but certainly not the rest of it.
Christianity EtcRe: Is masturbation a sin or not? by onetrack(m): 10:41pm On Oct 17, 2012
Look, I am an atheist so I cannot tell you what is religiously acceptable to you or not. However, I was certainly raised with a religious education and spent much time trying to find out what is sinful and what is not. There is no verse in the Bible which says "Do not m@sturbate: it is a sin". Nowhere in the Bible does it say that stimulating yourself to climax is a sin. Period. So enjoy your hand; whether you are male or female, the hand is perfectly designed to bring you maximum pleasure. Do you think it is a coincidence?

Besides, your hand cannot cause pregnancy, it cannot give you a disease, it won't ask for money, and it will never refuse your request. Your hand is your friend with benefits.
Christianity EtcRe: Is masturbation a sin or not? by onetrack(m): 8:20pm On Oct 17, 2012
Nowhere in the Bible does it directly and clearly state that m@asturbation is forbidden.
Christianity EtcRe: Can A Good Atheist Make Heaven? by onetrack(m): 5:52pm On Oct 17, 2012
Where exactly is this 'heaven'? Can I at least inspect it to see if I want to go there or not?
Christianity EtcRe: An Example Of Atheist Morality? by onetrack(m): 10:57am On Oct 17, 2012
vedaxcool: As we can see atheism is such an empty basket that explaining their own action cannot not do without God or religion! in the words of frosbel, They prefer arguing over imaginary all their lives than anything else!
Actually I only spend a small amount of time debating about imaginary gods and fictional holy books. But when I do it is simply to show that atheists exist and that we can have our say just like the myriad religious charlatans leaders than can be seen everywhere.
Christianity EtcRe: Could This Be What Living In Atheist Nigeria Will Look Like? by onetrack(m): 10:51am On Oct 17, 2012
vedaxcool: And after you done, vomiting garbage, do kindly leave, as the OP says it all, if atheists were to become the majority, then oppression and cruelty is not far from us. Strage enough, for an atheist to explain his action he turns around and blame religion for his own inability to explain why "ethical" atheists who believe in No God, do worse whenever they are at the helms of affairs!
Fine, you present Stalin as the 'typical' atheist leader and I'll present Tamerlane as the typical Muslim one.
Christianity EtcRe: Could Atheism Be Considered The Gay Religion? by onetrack(m): 9:45pm On Oct 16, 2012
Sagamite: How does exhibiting gay behaviour equate to being gay?
Did you really ask this question?

Christianity EtcRe: Could Atheism Be Considered The Gay Religion? by onetrack(m): 7:46pm On Oct 16, 2012
Sagamite: Thank the Lord I can spot a person from their first few statements and I am quick to pull the trigger of calling them a person.

I was not wrong about this guy, just like I was not wrong about Fucktard00028.

What a pure person!
No, not a pure person. I am somewhat adulterated. grin
Christianity EtcRe: Could Atheism Be Considered The Gay Religion? by onetrack(m): 5:58pm On Oct 16, 2012
Bernd2: Being gay is ok! smiley In Sweden about 45% of all males are gay.
Probably closer to 3% like in the rest of the world.
Christianity EtcRe: Please Read Slowly.it's Very Important: by onetrack(m): 5:41pm On Oct 16, 2012

Christianity EtcRe: Could Atheism Be Considered The Gay Religion? by onetrack(m): 5:38pm On Oct 16, 2012
truthislight: nature educated us in various ways.

Gaism may not harm me directly but that does not make it right/natural.

But we know that abused of nature result in adverse consequences.

The an.us is for poo, when a di.ck/pe.nis goes in "there" it can recircle things that are supposed to be absolutely wested and that will harm humanity subsequently as most of "them" are bi-sexual that can transfer what they picked from the an.us into the virgina.
Is MouthAction also unnatural? Should practitioners be imprisoned so that they can be prevented from doing this?
Christianity EtcRe: Could Atheism Be Considered The Gay Religion? by onetrack(m): 5:36pm On Oct 16, 2012
truthislight: did flying in airplane come naturally or it is as a result of man input?
If god had meant for humans to fly, he would have given them wings. Man should not fly. Very simple. Technology has encouraged a lot of unnatural behavior and god is watching. If Nigerian officials had any true belief in God at all they would close the airports and arrest the passengers and pilots of all planes that do land in Nigeria. Telephones are also unnatural. I've never seen one in nature.
Christianity EtcRe: An Example Of Atheist Morality? by onetrack(m): 4:31pm On Oct 16, 2012
vedaxcool: We don't care if your life has no meaning, we state that when people wake up one day and say God does not exist, the next thing they begin to do is result to twisting the law and using it as a vehicle to oppress others, this singular fact remains why atheism is no good and has nothing to offer the society and advancement of humanity, for what we can see it will become a monster that resembles a zombie arising from the death. We see that the atheist morality remains one where oppression and cruelty are not far from each other! Still the OP goes unanswered! Being an atheist must mean a simple way of not answering questions.
Isn't that what people do with religion? Twist it around to make it suit themselves----and then-----say that it is the will of God that this or that must happen. No thanks. Atheism removes from people a slavish adherence to outdated ethics and principles.
Christianity EtcRe: Could This Be What Living In Atheist Nigeria Will Look Like? by onetrack(m): 4:27pm On Oct 16, 2012
vedaxcool: Still atheism has nothing to offer how pathetic! and the above quote shows it all!
Atheism is a lack of belief, so, yeah, it has nothing to offer. Leaves me free to determine how to think for myself.
Christianity EtcRe: Could This Be What Living In Atheist Nigeria Will Look Like? by onetrack(m): 4:01pm On Oct 16, 2012
vedaxcool: Again, the atheist shows that because they have nothing to offer, they have to rely on Religion to simply explain why their form ethical "morality" only suffice for conmen and fraudsters.
Better to offer nothing than to encourage wrong behavior in the name of an imaginary being.
Christianity EtcRe: An Example Of Atheist Morality? by onetrack(m): 3:59pm On Oct 16, 2012
vedaxcool: Atheism seems so empty that atheist cannot make case for atheism without calling religion repeatedly. The OP from all I can see remains unanswered.
We make our own morality according to our experiences and education. That means that an atheist's idea of morality can vary by time and place. This is also true of religions, which are flexible enough to allow virtually anything from murder to rape to slavery with the approval of God Himself.

Me I find my own meaning in life and my own morality. All religions are man-made, so you are just following another person's moral code instead of your own.
Christianity EtcRe: Could This Be What Living In Atheist Nigeria Will Look Like? by onetrack(m): 1:35pm On Oct 16, 2012
Nice strawman argument. Who here is arguing that Nigeria become an atheist state? Nigeria should be a country that treats religion like anything else: a tool for improving Nigeria; and if religion does not then it should be discarded. Religious leaders calling for children not to be vaccinated is not improving Nigeria, neither is encouraging people to give 3 of their last 5 naira to a wealthy pastor. Nigeria simply has TOO MUCH religion--and that is not a good thing.
Christianity EtcRe: An Example Of Atheist Morality? by onetrack(m): 1:26pm On Oct 16, 2012
The only thing that atheists necessarily have in common is the lack of a belief in God. There is not necessarily a common idea of morality.

If there is any reason why atheists might tend to agree that homosexuality is something naturally occurring it is that science tends to point in that direction, as opposed to religion which says something is right or wrong simply because it says so.

I've never said that Islam is violent. People are violent. And there are some parts of the Qu'ran and hadith which can easily be construed to advocate violence (9th sura for example). However the overwhelming majority of Muslims are peaceful and don't seek to do harm. I just don't believe that Muhammad was a prophet nor the Qu'ran a holy book (nor Jesus & the Bible. etc).
Christianity EtcRe: Could Atheism Be Considered The Gay Religion? by onetrack(m): 1:17pm On Oct 16, 2012
Sagamite: You are a foooool!

Go and understand the meaning of natural before you start making stewpid statements.

How old are you?
Enough with the ad hominem attacks, they just show that you have no argument. Natural is anything that occurs in nature without human enterprise. Humans do not fly in a natural environment. Therefore flying should be condemned as unnatural. Rather than calling me names, give me a logical response. That is what debate is about.
Christianity EtcRe: Could Atheism Be Considered The Gay Religion? by onetrack(m): 7:32am On Oct 16, 2012
Sagamite: If you term homosexuality as 'equal', then you support homosexuality.

Learn to understand the core of your ideology before taking a position. Don't be a Zombie that consumes and regurtitates arguments fed to you.

That is the way you choose to define 'support'. I don't agree with that definition.

While we are at it (discovering), it is reasonable to take the position of it being unnatural.
And it is also reasonable to take the position that flying in airplanes is unnatural, since, in a natural setting, man does not fly.
Christianity EtcRe: Could Atheism Be Considered The Gay Religion? by onetrack(m): 10:54pm On Oct 15, 2012
manmustwac: Well I don't because it goes against the laws of nature. The key was designed to enter the ignition.
Nature is oftentimes very subtle in her methods. I cannot necessarily conclude that it goes against the laws of nature....there may be a natural explanation we just have not yet discovered.
Christianity EtcRe: Could Atheism Be Considered The Gay Religion? by onetrack(m): 10:52pm On Oct 15, 2012
Uyi Iredia: Not quite. Not all atheists support homosexuality. However,, I do think most of them support it
How does one 'support' homosexuality? Applauding when someone tells you they just had homosexual sex?

I support equal rights under law for homosexuals. I don't 'support' homosexuality.
Christianity EtcRe: Questions For Mazaje, Logicboy, Muskeeto And Other Atheist In The House by onetrack(m): 10:03pm On Oct 15, 2012
okeyxyz: So How did we come about civil marriage contracts? Was it not that laws were enacted to recognize religious marriage contracts?? Was there a civil marriage before then?

I'd ignored your other(upper) posts because they are not making much sense(like @muskeeto), you seem not to understand what this debate is about.
Many traditional societies have long regarded marriage as a civil affair, basically a business deal between two families, involving specifically a bride-price or a dowry. The Romans had three types of marriage, one religious and two civil....

bro, the religion section is in a state of confusion presently.. christians battling each other on trinity, muslims and christians creating threads to troll atheists, i think the holiday season is setting in...
I know that Carl Sagan's birthday is coming up soon, but what other holidays are you speaking of? Some Iron Age pagan rituals that I am unaware of?

okeyxyz: grin grin grin
Bros, you are not even making sense anymore. You are turning the gun on yourself now. So adam & eve were not married? and jesus did not grow up in a marriage family? Well, I can safely assume you don't read the bible...
Who performed the wedding ceremony of Adam and Eve? They weren't married, they just did "it".

We don't know who Jesus' real father was....maybe Mary claimed to be pregnant by God in order to cover up the fact that she was messing around on the side and didn't want the shame of having an out-of-wedlock baby. In any case, how do we know that Joseph and Mary were formally married?

We DO know about Solomon and his family....let's see...was it 300 wives and 500 concubines? Good, solid upright family man, Solomon was.

I do think that a wedding ceremony is not important. If there is a good reason to have a civil marriage contract, such as making sure the kids are taken care of, then fine, but it does not have to be religious in any way.
