Anambra State Speaker Calls On Ndi Anambra In Diaspora To Invest In The State.

The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor has called on wealthy citizens of the state in Diaspora to invest in Anambra to guarantee rapid development of the state.

Right Honourable Okafor made the call while inspecting a gigantic Mall being constructed by Akaeze Multi Services in colĺaboration with the Anambra State Housing Development Corporation in Awka.

The speaker who was impressed with the quality of work done so at the Mall,commended Akaeze Multi Services for extending his wealth home in line with the think home philosophy of Governor Willie Obiano.

The speaker noted that the Mall on completion will create jobs for Anambra youths and expressed appreciation to Governor Willie Obiano for attracting investments to the state by creating the enabling environment.

The speaker disclosed that the the company building the Mall has got all the necessary approvals and appreciated the Anambra State House of Assembly Committee On Housing for ensuring that the company is working according to specifications .

On his part,the Managing Director of Anambra State Housing Development Corporation, Architect Willie Okafor explained that the compact Mall sitting on four thousand fifteen square metres boasts of a ground floor, first floor and the roof top.

According to him,the architectural piece contains swimming pool,leisure and beauty spa,cinema halls,food court,shops among others.
Architect Okafor further said that the plaza is geared towards catapulting Awka into a twenty first century city Ndi Anambra will be proud of.

Gov Obiano really scored F9 in media. I wonder why he doesnt care about media optics. If some Governors did what he did in Anambra by now the entire country would be begging the governor to be president. Look at what media did to Umahi despite performing far less than Obiano.
The incompetent James Eze should have been sacked long ago to focus on his poetry and literature, he's just very useless. Imagine, the usual Peter Obi propaganda camp led by Valentine Obienyem who have been behind all the media attacks on Gov Obiano posted a fake article on Punch about EFCC investigating Obiano due to 17billion paris club and yet no rejoinder from the governor's media teams till now.

I think appointing an Enugu person as media aide in Anambra is the biggest mistake of Obiano administration. It's not yet late, he can use his remaining months to fire and rejig his media team

Here is a picture of Mallam Umaru Alttine , the first Mayor of Enugu. He was a Fulani man from Sifawa in Sokoto Caliphate.

Mallam Umaru Altine, was elected in 1952 as the first Mayor of Enugu, the heart land and heartbeat of the Igbo Nation. He was in office till 1958. He was elected a Councillor in 1954 and Chairman of the Council in same year. He became Mayor of the Enugu Municipal Council in 1956, when Enugu became a Municipality.

His story is usually held up as "the example of unity we could have achieved" he may have been a ‘token’ experiment in 1954 - 1956 but after leaving the NCNC he was certainly a popular candidate. he was well loved by the populace, without question winning against formidable odds.

He returned to the North during the 1966 crisis and focused on his business away from public life, hence his disappearance from public life never to resurface again.

The Anambra State Government has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of inelegantly acting the script of those who unsuccessfully canvassed for emergency rule in the State and were thereafter, badly defeated in the November 6 Guber Election.

Media reports were rife yesterday that the outgoing Governor, Willie Obiano has been placed on the Commission's watchlist as his tenure draws to an end on March 17, 2022.

In a press statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, C. Don Adinuba, he reiterated that Governor Obiano, will be ready to answer questions about his service record when invited.

There had been serious bitterness between the Igbos and the Ijaws in a deeper looking, I figured out that the Ijaws are the closest related tribe to us.

When we keep trading the war rhetoric, it could all end up dangerously and I don't see the need for us to resort to hurting ourselves, personally some of my best friends and advisers are Ijaws.

In the olden days, the Ijaws loved marrying Igbo women and more than every other tribe the Ijaws as a result of earlier contact to the British kidnapped and sold Igbos into slavery at other times they had enculturated many other Igbos.

The reality here is that honestly if we don't get on in an agreeable ways despite our connections things can escalate.

We should remember that The English are also Germanic but the two nations of UK and Germany would fight the world wars at opposing sides. Igbo and Ijaws maybe related but if not well managed can escalate.

There are three options for Igbos and Ijaw post Nigeria either we all join together in Biafra, we all join together in Niger Delta Republic, whichever country we chose being purely autonomous or we shall both form separate countries while deciding on how to deal with common interest.

Opobo and Bonny, could both be independent city state while Opobo can be Igbo pritectorate, Bonny can be Ijaw Protectorate but if we love these common interest grounds so much we can both forget our pride and form a country together with ensured autonomy or continue staying in Nigeria together.

I believe in Confederate States of AlaIgbo also Igbo Province of Nigeria.
