It was a day of surprise and confusion in Imo state as an unknown gunman killed in the state was discovered to be one of the men of the Nigerian DSS.
An exchange of gunfire was reported between the men of Nigerian police and unknown gunmen in Imo state which lead to the death of one of the unknown gunmen while they where on the run, but to the total astonishment of the policemen the deceased gunman was identified as a Nigerian DSS. It was alleged that after series of contacts to the office of the DSS who accepted the deceased to be one of their men the story was falsely reported to the media as an accidental discharge.

Popular Nigerian activist and author, Reno Omokri in a recent statement, has revealed why the Nigerian Naira is constantly crashing against the US Dollar.

The 47 years old lawyer in his statement, claimed that Naira is constantly crashing against the Dollar due to the huge external debt the country is owing.

He added that the President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration was deliberately enslaving the country by borrowing.

Reno Omokri made this known through a recent post on his Facebook page as he claimed that Naira is now worth less than the Zimbabwean dollar.

He wrote;

“In case you don’t know why the Naira is ₦575 to $1, and may soon become ₦1000 to $1, it is because Buhari has increased our total national debt from ₦12 trillion in 2015, to ₦35 trillion today. Things are so bad that even Pastor Adeboye complained about our debt position.

Please Google it. Pastor Adeboye was venting his frustration about our debt to his friend. This shameless bambiala called Buhari has borrowed your destiny and spent it building a $2 billion railway in Niger Republic. Wake up and smell the coffee.

It's from a manifesto you know who is the right candidate or not.

Whether the candidate delivers his or her manifesto is another matter entirely.

But from what I read there, he is good to go....

Manifesto was elaborate up to how he intends to fund the projects and services, He even said a month after swearing in he will put out the deliverables with their time line of delivery that will help to guage if the office holder is failing or succeeding.

(That is another thing the Nigeria political system should incorporate, there should be a sort of punishment when an office holder does not deliver on his manifesto after so so period of time)

I don't know what else you are expecting from a candidate.

The thing here is Ebonyi is not financially strong like other south east state, the little the have, the government economically managed it ( by the virtue of the governor being an engineers reducing contractor cost) in carrying out a lot of massive product, but the fact remains building the airport with a very low amount is not the problem, the real problem The are facing is equipping it
If you read the letter well he was only appealing for funds to equip the airport which will be too hard for a state like Ebonyi, (the governor too doesn't want to Borrow loans so that the upcoming government will suffer paying bck)
