The so-called "Cement" sold to Nigerians today is mere adulterated saw dust! But nobody will do anything about it because Nigeria is such an evil corrupt place where government officials are merely bought over. Since we started using local cement for construction, buildings have been collapsing like a pack of sand. We know the quality of our local cement leaves much to be desired, but nobody will say or do anything, while the innocent people continue to perish in the unending buildings collapse mischievously blamed on convenient distractions. |
investnow2013:Hopefully, the name of the airport is written at the main entrance toll gate. These types of little fine detail should not be forgotten now that the airport has been commissioned.

Lest we forget that apart from Lagos and Abuja airports, this is only the airport in Nigeria with fully functional runway center lights and runway edge lights, a full-fledged Category 2 ILS system, a dedicated meteorological system, and landing lights on both ends of the runway! In layman's terms, apart from Lagos and Abuja airports, this is the only airport in Nigeria where safe night landing in all weather is guaranteed! Not to mention it has the tallest and most modern ATC Control tower in Nigeria today! Biko, why has Njenje Media been avoiding going to do a proper tour of this airport? Their video last August during the construction tried to tarnish this airport a bit because folks trusted Njenje media as a credible media outfit. I will raise this issue with Mazi Ezeoke in his next hangout!

post=107104553:Wow! the airport is now open for public use from this Saturday, October 30th, 2021!!! Excellent news! To God be the Glory!!! |
Zssk0003:They need to award the overall landscaping contract to whoever built the water systems facility. Only that contractor understands that landscaping is part and parcel of the physical structure.
|
The Anambra International Convention Center, Awka also seems to be coming up in very high quality too.

investnow2013:Glad to see that they have not stopped work while awaiting NCAA approval to open for public use. The airlines' check-in counters are ready with the check-in luggage carousel already functional. They have an adequate number of chairs for passengers, and very importantly for me, they have cleaned the floor! The airport is totally ready!

ANSMEDIA:It's a nice vlog with lots of inaccurate and obsolete information that was not updated. Like Eboh Media's excellent vlog on the airport which also had the same obsolete information. The airport project was not financed by the Chinese in any sort of partnership. Yes, the airport was initially planned and launched in 2017 as a $2 Billion dollars airport-city project on Build-Operate-Manage-and-Transfer with Chinese external partners (Sino-King Enterprises Ltd). That arrangement was later reneged upon by the Chinese Consortium in 2019. Following the pullout of the Chinese company, Gov. Obiano who already committed to the project instructed a phased approach towards delivery of the project BASED ON THE STATE'S FINANCIAL CAPACITY. In January 2020, Gov. Obiano quietly broke grounds at the site and re-launched the new plan to build the airport in phases based on the state's revenue financing ability. The first phase to allow daylight flights landing was completed within 15 months and tested on April 30, 2021. Gov. Obiano has continued the phased development of the airport installing ILS CAT 2 System, airfield landing, runway lighting, CAT 9 Airport Firestation, internal access roads around the airport, total perimeter fencing, approach main highway, gatehouse, terminal building, parking lots, powerhouse, self-sustaining water treatment plant, etc. These are to allow the safe and seamless operation of international flights from the airport as it begins to serve the public. The Cargo storage sheds are being planned, with aviation fuel tank farms, as well as parallel taxiways to the end of the runway etc. Thus, in 2022, about N10 billion will be spent on the strategic development of the airport even as it continues to operate. Thus, the information that the airport alone (as is) already costs $2 billion Dollars makes such journalists sound very mischievous or misinformed. Once the total projected cost of $2 billion dollars is mentioned to sound as though it was the cost of the airport so far, without mentioning that was this was the total projected cost in 2017 was for everything (i.e; airport & airport city & International convention center & airport hotels) that the Chinese partners were expected to invest, make the information sound deliberately mischievous. Since we all know that N5.6 billion was budgeted in 2020 budget and N6 billion in 2021. So, nobody has claimed that $2 Billion dollars have already been invested into the airport. The plan is to gradually and strategically continue the investment of up to $2 billion dollars over a period of years based on the state's financial capacity. Why can't they report the later statement which is accurate than the former which suggests that the airport already costs $2 billion dollars? We know $2 billion dollars is a little over N1 trillion naira. We also know that the entire Anambra's ACTUAL budget performance since 2010 is less than N900 Billion naira! So even if Anambra did not pay any salaries, or build roads/schools, or anything else since 2010, it would still be unable to afford a whopping N1 trillion naira to invest in this airport project alone for a whole 11 years! Not to mention that this project was only discussed with the Chinese in Obiano's second term in 2017 and actual construction started in January 2020! Which makes that claim by opposition agents of $2 billion already spent even more ludicrous! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jbxk20qW8PI |
PROUDIGBO:No Nigerian, African or even non-African can say they don't know INNOSON vehicle manufacturing in Nigeria. I think INNOSON should not bother too much with advertisements within Nigeria, instead, they should focus on their growth/expansion strategy of establishing subsidiary plants within other African countries and advertise the presence of INNOSON vehicles in those countries! Their future lies in making INNOSON an African brand of vehicle and not merely a NIgerian brand. The same way that Toyota managed to make Toyota an Asian brand and not just a Japanese brand. |
3pointsagree:They are awaiting NCAA approval to open the airport for public use. NCAA officials have completed their inspection last week and now the official approval is being awaited before the airport is opened for commercial flights.
|
DeadCountry:It's a lie, they are Ijaws! Any community near any river, ocean, stream or creek is definitely an Ijaw clan. Even people in Eket, Uyo, Bonny, Opobo, to as far away as Idah, Oron, Ogwashi ukwu, Abraka,Warri, Koko, PH and Ikot Abasi cannot deny that they are Ijaw clans! Their elders just don't know it, but Ijaw miscreants know they are Ijaw clans! |
The airport is completed !!! To God be the Glory!!! Anambra International airport is the 3rd runway in Nigeria with both runway edge and CENTER lights. Only Abuja Intl. airport and Lagos Intl airport had such an international standard runway with Runway Center lights seen in true international airports in advanced countries! The two luggage carousels are almost ready!
|
xpressionx:It has become very shameful that we have soldiers in Nigeria who now behave like mere street thugs. Even if they felt the colors he wore were Biafra colors, they should be professional knowing they were probably being filmed for the world to see. A soldier is supposed to be a highly professional individual that conducts himself in a way to command respect. In Nigeria, we now have illiterate Boko Haram members in our national uniform as soldiers. |
DoggoneDogg:Another Fulani goon! Why do you guys love to pose as other people? Why not say Allah ya kiyaye! Or even better say something in Fulfude? |
raymexx: Do you still need any proof about the identity of the so called "unknown gunmen"? DSS is a terrorist organization. Great job the Police took one of these gunmen out. |
I have been thinking. If indeed an enemy wanted to burn a man's house, why do you burn a section akin to the boys quarters and spare the main house? The fact they burnt the boy's quarters of Joe Igbokwe's house and spared the main house makes you seriously suspect if this was an inside job for some type of political stunt. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6srtbTBsPQk How I wish most of these unemployed youths will avail themselves of this opportunity to get trained in these fish farms in the 3 senatorial zones. Then they can set up their own smoked fish production facility later. There is so much money to be made in fish farming and production instead of some unproductive jobs like "oso-afia" or even "agbero" work. Hopefully, these facilities can train enough youths to set up their own productive fish farms and make a lucrative livelihood via fresh fish production and smoked fish production. Some can go into fish breeding (Fingerlin) production. Buying mature male and female fish and using them to produce fish offsprings that are then resold at massive profits to the big fish farms. Even more, people can begin to produce fish feeds locally and sell them to the fish farmers. This has the potential for creating a lot of good-paying jobs for the youths. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2nZcPxleuo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buPXVa-EyGg |
[s] Islie:[/s] ![]() Shameless people have no shame telling SHAMEFUL LIES! Even if Nigeria had the clout of India, Twitter would ignore it. Talk more the current Nigeria with half the size of Thailand's economy |
kinglaxon:The current regime is the MOST CORRUPT in Nigeria's history. They are taking huge loans claiming to be paying salaries etc with them. While they pocket the hard currency and mindlessly printing NAIRA notes to pay salaries and pay contractors! Only an illiterate would not reason that such a criminal economic policy of piling up huge foreign debts and mindless printing of the naira would crash the value of the naira in a very short period. Nigerians have had it. |
mekaboy:If you think sending Fulani killers to kill people in the southeast and blame it on IPOB will make Igbos to turn against IPOB, you are seriously deluded. Keep on with your latest tactics of using Fulanis to kill innocent civilians people in the southeast.Just like the killings by security operatives caused people to also target them. We be begin to target you people and retaliate, just remember that you started it. |
BKayy:Exactly! Even the most foolish person will not fall for this useless FULANI trick. They now use DSS to murder prominent Igbomen in the silly hope that it will turn the people against IPOB. Truth is that it will backfire. People will begin to take out repraisals against Fulanis soon. It will be by their own phenomenon of "Unknown Gunmen too. |
[s] goatgoat093:[/s] Nobody is fooled by you Fulanis claiming to be Igbo! The way the Fulani-dominated DSS has been killing innocent people and try to blame it on some "unknown gunmen" and IPOB is totally unacceptable. Very soon folks will begin to target Fulani civilians and term it "Unknown gunmen too" the way Fulanis in DSS target civilians of other tribes. |
madmohamed:Exactly! DSS is going around killing people to blame it on IPOB and their so-called "unknown gunmen". God will judge Buhari and some of his Fulani goons going around to perpetrate this evil. |
TEDHorsePower:For the records....... Those comparing Obiano's mega achievements in every sector to Umahi's roads construction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9uiGuB8WnQ |
The north does not have the numbers in votes. BUT they control all the security arms, INEC and Judiciary. Not to mention the Executive and legislative arms of government as well. Therefore, any fake numbers announced by INEC are confirmed by the judiciary and they use the army and police to shoot anyone who dares to step out and protest. |
billante:SOLUDO is truly the SOLUTION!!! Not just for Anambra's challenges of development, but his manifesto and how he actually laid down the implementation template will serve as a blueprint for other Africans and states to implement concrete solutions to developmental challenges in Nigeria. The same way many African and Asian countries implemented his consolidation panacea to cure the issue of wonder banks and banks distress once and for all in Africa. Addressing Poverty & Underdevelopment in Anambra State in particular and Africa in general: Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo Manifesto. Main access road has also been completed and street lights installation completed. Landscaping with flowers and trees now taking place. Abeg, Obiano deserves serious three Gbosaa!!! I still don't know how he found the money and managed it so well to achieve all these in one swoop! While his counterpart who has not even completed their airport water supply system or even a carpark, not to mention the apron, terminal building or runway is already begging everybody for money! They will probably ask IMF for money when it's time to install CAT 2 ILS systems and lights, and the airport fire trucks! May God bless Anambra with another technocrat with great vision like Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo!
|
ChimaAdeoye:Wow! Truly a fantastic achievement! What marvel's me is how they have insisted on the very best quality equipment and global practices! I am shocked that they are indeed installing the runway center lights! It is an extra cost that most people who are addicted to shoddy jobs would easily do without. But, Obiano does not like to cut corners! Anything he does, he wants it to be the same standard that you would find in civilized countries where public safety is placed above cutting corners in everything.

Vickym1:Truly Umahi was a maverick to have accomplished all he did in Ebonyi state. Having said that, we must say the truth that he was also a crazy megalomaniac to be thinking of building the largest terminal building in Nigeria, even larger than Abuja international airport! Who would use such vast space of terminal building? Chickens and lizards? Common sense dictates that your first terminal-1 is a small one and from there you could build a much larger second terminal-2, which could take many years and accommodate the growing population using the airport. You don't build the size of terminal-2 as your terminal-1 when you are not even sure that the airport would be that viable. It's even worse when you know that you don't have the money for such a megalomaniac terminal building, and the worst disservice to Ebonyians is to have such a project ABANDONED after all the billions sunk into it! Nevertheless, Buhari should please give Umahi the money for the sake of millions of Fulanis living in Ebonyi and transacting their business in the state. It will make the cost & speed of connecting Katsina to Ebonyi very cheap and fast. |
