Mrs.Chima:How is Mr. Chima doing? ![]() |
fork adict: Cos as far as I'm concerned, this girl is a national disaster waiting to happen. Pls remember how we tore Selly apart on this forum cos of her folly with Nando? If this disaster that is Bev happens, let us All imagine how our ghanaian broses dem go take laff usDude easy on the galz...don't u think we're judging the them a bit too harshly compared to nando and angelo? ..hey once ur in the show, the boundaries on what is considered good or acceptable behavior blur, in the end it's only a game show, no one remembers these tins years after..my .02 |
GARRI~ WARLORD:guy calmdown, it's just a show. no one wud remember this in a year. oops.... ofunnekkandrichard ![]() |
ozodigboo: Rubbish. What urges ? She feckd up. at least Sellyndo did their own in private, when everyone had slept off.sellyndo did gini in private? lol , abeg beverly no fuk up anytin. gal gats to do wats a gal gats to do... get off ur moral high horse.. |

P.Stacks:This is wrong. Nigerians throw up bill gates when they want to excuse their academic ineptitude. He was very book smart actually, coupled with his common sense. 1590/1600 in his first SAT attempt and he rewrote it because he was cheesed off by his imperfect verbal score. 1600/1600 in his next attempt. Dropped out of college cos he was way too smart to remain in slowpoke harvard, not vice versa. |
GboyegaD: I think with a good GRE score, LOR and SOP, you can still make TAMU. The fact that schools like to have some kind of diversification in their student body gives you a chance. Thanks, i will give TAMU a shot. |
I'm considering applying for a masters program in petroleum engineering. Can anyone advice me on the schools to apply to that have solid post graduation job prospects in the U.S for international students. I am potentially applying to TAMU, Uoklahoma then Texas Tech and LSU(as my safety schools). Are there other schools or states I should be looking at? I have a bachelors in mech engineering (3.43/5) FUTMX, and 1 year work experience as an engineer. My GRE comes up later this month but i'm confident of scoring over 300( scored around that in a power prep timed diagnostic). I fear my cgpa may be too low for TAMU so i'm considering replacing it with another safety school. Your anticipated comments are highly appreciated. Thanks. |
savcy: @OP,abeg,What exactly does one stand to learn from this your BBA?? I've tried watching it on a number of occasions. All I see are people who are idly sitting around eating, drinking, sleeping, chatting and more eating and drinking. Is there something there that I'm missing or not able to see?If that's all you see then maybe that's who you are: a shallow human being incapable of appreciating the frailty and depth of human nature that can be explored in ways such as love, jealousy, and betrayal which the BBA show encapsulates so well. |
Why don't we have a nigerian equivalent of shoprite or dstv? The SA companies are beating us on our home turf...giant of africa my foot |
I tried to pay for my GRE online but it turns out candidates in nigeria cannot register nline. Please does anyone in the house know how to go about this? |
jam04: I knew it!!!! When Tony was 'forced' out of UBA by the CBN regulation back the, I said to a colleague that he will be breaking new ground because he is resourceful and a massive risk taker. I've had the opportunity to meet him twice and I learned a lot from him. No wonder china biggest bank partnered with UBA when they wanted to enter Nigeria market( for easy financing of big chinese companies operating here)How exactly is he breaking new ground? By participating in photo-ops with celebrities who invariably have had more influence in the world than he can dream of? He was just another greedy resourceful banker, and a mighty big airhead only interested in the bottom line and not building a worldclass company such as GTB..next abeg |
The dead man is still more alive than many of us will ever be |
This bad-bi-tch of a life men... but this isn't peculiar to Nigerians. Anyone living here on earth can relate to this...I haven't stepped out of Nigeria but I can relate to most of what the author describes, even as a young person..the feeling of unaccomplishment, jealousy, lovelessness; it assaults us all as individuals alike. We're either winners or losers in this cruel wicked world; for the most part we are all losers! |
braine: But some things are reserved for the ladies tho; a grown asss man taking a picture through a mirror is just awkward.High professional reputation is not a guarantee of sound mind...Joseph Conrad ![]() |
onthefence: Delish is dull and that is a fact. She is pretty and that is a fact too.I think she's just reserved and likes to play it cool. I find her a bit charming in that way (not just the looks) She holds one-on-one conversations intelligently (minus the accent) compared to Beverly. I concede that people have their definitions of "interesting", but she fits mine well. |
Btruth: Why won't you guys let him die first before his burial ceremonies? The only people that there is no hope for are the dead...,,,, there's hope for the living you know!I can bet my hiss that smart news organizations like the nytimes and the economist even have his obituary typed and are just waiting for the man to dissapear. That's called being proactive, it is the unafrican way ![]() |
The rate at which people queue to leave their countries for greener is the truest test in my opinion? |
jackbauersballs: This information is actually quite handy.Sarcasm? |
ItsModella: In all sincerity, Natasha even though she can be really obnoxious is more entertaining that Maria. She gives us things to talk about.seriosly like what? tot she was the real deal in the first week, but any thing she has as an asset at this point is seriosly overshadowed by her deep insecurities men...sulu is a bigger entertainer in my view |
montelik: Natasha will be feeling untouchable.afrikan houswives and retirees are the ones keeping her in the house walahi...just don't see what she brings to the young crowd. it shud be obvious to other hms by now it's a waste to nominate her |
GARRI~ WARLORD:He shud swap places if he wants to be sincere...cretin |
pinky lips: Enough of this melvin talks.........basssey is discussing with selly about being an adopted child, how it feels never ever knowing his real father, what he looked like, his race n all that, apparently another Nigerian family in Sierra leone adopted him, hence the name basssey....basssey went to lament on how he never wants to ever see his real mother in life cos he dosent know her because she abandoned him.....he said he just claims the race Italian cos he looks like one but till now,he can still not tell the exact race his biological father is from........it was so emotional, selly almost started crying, basssey said the year he was born, they had lots of Italian and Lebanese fishermen in Sierra leone so his father could be either an Italian or a Lebanese......selly said quite a lot of them have similar stories, she mentioned knowing her father but he left their mother when she was very little, that's why she bears her mother's name and not her father's surname........she mentioned how dellish's father that she has never met will be so surprised if she ever meets her daughter Dellish who has also turned out a beautiful and responsible lady.......basssey was quite emotional about the discussion and says he remains grateful to his foster family that have taken care of him till date........really it must feel so bad not to kow or ever met your real parents.......na wa.Untrue, foster parents rock. Some biological parents are garbage anyway. Was this the same story that made fatima cry? Meh... Pls can anyone tell me what angelo does well in the house, he's been far below the radar for my liking but i don't think he's been nominated by anyone, quite intriguing. Is he just a great all around guy that gets on with everyone or is he extremely useful in someway e.g his cooking |
AjanleKoko: Joaquim Chissano has been exemplary in MozambiqueBy extension, the typical african must be a shythead, we deserve the leaders we get, surely? |
@Mynewhitmen aka writer of romantic novels...keep indulging in your utopian idiocy, how about apologizing to me for being a human being? |
fork adict: @Smooooth!seriolsy fork do relationships make bb fun? I'll take Nando's directazz approach anyday. And melvin is as slowpoke as dey come... |

why do people really care about these petty differences..smh |
Mr knowitall.:Thanks for pointing this out. The hypocricy on display is just downright shocking. The reason why we are losing this debate is largely a function of ignorance and the closed mindset of the typical african. Always slow to catch things on; the rest of the world is having a conversation about this --awkard and feisty as it has been in say, france--yet we've decided to wax petty traditional and religious sentiments and thrown reason and constructive debate to the pits. |
