Some people's vocabulary only consists of insults. Constructive criticism? No way let's just abuse the person.

Given the constitution, the president might not be able to reduce legislator's entitlement. But will Nigerians themselves stand up for themselves? We have might in numbers, labour unions etc. WILL U JOIN THE FIGHT.

DISCOs can reject light when consumers don't use card meters. More money all round.

Now we know who to blame. The CEO Ikeja DISCO we need our card meter and your customers need to be informed on why they are not been served.

Govt should buy back and resell any inefficient DISCO.


Also I've read how the Chinese use their own faeces to make biogas.
This is achieved by using concrete instead of blocks for septic and the resulting waste (slurry) can be channelled to agriculture. We need to consider off grid electricity source that is not dependent on PHCN. Its a green process that's incredible.

Can the ministry make available a complaints board or set procedures for addressing wrong doings by these companies.

Will the ministry regulate these companies.

This will help Nigerians apportion blame accordingly. Personally I am interested in their top management and board members because when a company under performs, I want to know its leadership.

My suggestions sir:
Let it be compulsory for every Nigerian to get a prepaid card meter. We still haven't gotten ours.

Maybe allow each state to have autonomy over its electricity generation and distribution. (Egbin power plant- a case in point).

Make public the current PHCN in existence and the ownership structure. I know you are handicapped by funds and protocols but Nigerians need to have more visibility into public assets, structures etc, (this I know u did as gov)

It seems we have become so unfeeling for the people involved or their families that we can bear to take pics and post. I can just imagine the day you open and see a dear.

We've become so endearing of morbid news that we no longer favour good news. Punch dedicates two pages daily for morbid news- lack of positivity, inspiration

EFCC and other law enforcement agencies should have video evidence of serving a warrant and searching the house. Any evidence recovered must be shrink wrapped and ultimate counting of cash recovered must be videotaped in the presence of witnesses.
This protects the agencies against law suits and also assist the defence of their case in court.

It is inappropriate for an agency to give different accounts of monies recovered.

Because all this unsubstantiated rumours are disheartening.

This is the time to work hard and set rules for the mile 12 market.
No more selling on the road. All commercial activities must be restricted to the state allocated enclosure.

Each minister, governor, commissioner, judiciary, legislator, councillor must give monthly accounts of achievements and budgetary performance. This must be made public. They are public servants and so must account publicly.
