IAMBlesssed: Exactly, that's injustice. Tho Obi had left office before the investigations were concluded. You will notice from the write up that Chief Mokwe didn't lay much emphasis on Obi..All the same the Anambra state govt ought to have compensated him heavily for all the torture and maltreatment he went through... That is why I said government and not Obi. Government is continous. |

IAMBlesssed: It was a law in Anambra then when kidnapers and ritualists took over the state, Nzeobi is right. So many buildings connected with kidnapping/ritualism even in the villages were demolished then and it brought sanity to the state. I witnessed it.. In this case that turned out to be a frame up, was the law altered to compensate victims of false alarm and also punish false whistle blowers? Why has the government not done restitution for the damage done? That is the injustice. |

Please seek an injunction from court against military action on protesters.
Tell your wards to go back home now and save their lives. The protest has been hijacked and protesters will be used as a bait to achieve a dubious goal.

nzeobi: What is Peter obis crime, alleged human heads were found in a hotel and he was advised to demolish the hotel so as to serve as deterrent. Even you read the story well, the author of the story exonerated Peter Obi. Who advised him? Was the accused tried in a law court? Imagine demolishing a hotel built in the 70s and leaving the family in penury for an allegation that turned out to be a ruse. Destroying someone's inheritance. Is that not jungle Justice? Maybe we should practice that kind of justice on them too. After all they are stealing our collective wealth. |

Gavrelino123: Hello Great Investors and happy new month.
Those Banking with GTBANK and received interest this month from their savings Account.
Did you notice any drastic reduction in interest rate?
A savings account with an opening and closing Balance of 7,500,000 and got an interest of 7,250?
what is happening? Savings account Interest rate is 1.15% that is 10% of MPR. I'm sure you will receive lesser next month as the rate was applied around 22nd September. Earlier in September it was 1.25%. So that 1.25% would have contributed to this amount you received. |

Are you dense or just a plain simpleton? it'll be best you hopelessly keep to yourself before I transfer my aggression to you. $1000 is a "Selfish reason"? Bloody nitwit.. People like you put buhari where he is today, never rising to challenge the status quo, always ready to accept garbage. Irking neanderthal! My brother, I tire for some people. You wan make money or you want do charity? Fintechs that charge an arm and a leg on transactions and yet crash when you want to make profit are not worth it. They charge for deposits, for making a share purchase, for selling the share too, even make some money from currency exchange in both directions. How will a retail investor make money will all these charges. You can't even day trade too. Abeg go where your costs can be minimal at least. |

Openbusiness: You guys are always quick to label things with derogatory terms without even doing any holistic research on whatever claims he put out there. Jesus said, "whoever eats of his flesh...", and the religious people around said he was crazy for saying such. Same way, Galileo was labeled an heretic by the Roman Catholics for postulating a theory that the Earth was not the center of the universe and that the Sun didn't revolve around the Earth. Galileo said it was the other way around and it was the earth moving around the Sun. They killed him for it. But what do you know, later turns out Galileo was right. Many other cases like that in human history. So why not conduct your research to disprove or verify his claims first? Where's your research? Where's your counter postulations? None! Only insults. Nawa oh How does one start researching the claims in this video cos the maths is not in my bible. If this thing is by mathematics, then joining a masonic lodge is the way. |

All refineries should be on the coast where the oil is extracted.
Just to appease the Fulani, we built such a facility inland.. Mtcheww.. Honestly. When simple economics prescribes proximity to raw materials when citing industries, Nigeria will do the opposite then later say that our own economy defies all the economic laws. This is one case study. |

LordAdam16: ...Are we to talk about discrimination? That's inherently human. That's why homo sapiens are the only hominids today. We helped nature take care of every last living hominid relative. And when they were gone, we turned on ourselves.
So if you look back far enough, there is absolutely nothing unique about the African American experience. That's why I consider using that experience as justification for falling behind in virtually every facet an excuse.
And the most indomitable proofs are Haiti, every black-dominated country in the Caribbean, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.
Haiti led a successful revolt and was established in 1804. Almost 160 years before we got Independence. That place is a worse sh*thole than Nigeria. No Jim Crow. No Voter Suppression. No white-on-black discrimination, police brutality, or lynching.
Starting in 1824, the American Colonization Society paid transportation for 6,000 free blacks in America to emigrate to Haiti. It was a resounding failure. Most of them returned back to the US. Yes, they willingly chose to return back to the whites in the US who discriminated against them than live with the free blacks in Haiti.
Over here in Liberia and Sierra Leone, I don't have to say much do I? Even with our problems, we had to mobilize soldiers to stop them from massacring each other. Would you also use Jim Crow, police brutality, and white-on-black discrimination as justifications? The African Americans in Liberia formed an elite called the Americo-Liberians and discriminated against the indigenous black people who made up 90+% of the population. Holding on to political and economic power to this day. Where else did that happen in Africa? Oh I know, South Africa.
When did Liberia get independence? 1847. One hundred years before us. Like Haiti, Liberia is a worse sh*thole than Nigeria.
So when folks chat about the Europeans or Americans like they're a special kind of monsters, I have a hard time reconciling that with history or accounts of what black Africans have actually done and are capable of... Even the Jews were enslaved. Could not own property in medieval Europe, were subjected to all kinds of taxation, were segregated and forbidden from mixing with the general populace, suffered Holocaust yet still broke free. From their story of not being allowed to own landed property, I learnt that real wealth is portable (skills and knowledge based). Thus they became skilled tradesmen, financiers etc, which helped them as they left Europe for the new world. They usually call themselves people of the book. So our American brothers will do well to take education seriously, drawing lessons from the Jewish phenomenon. |
