Why are people shouting abouting withdrawing 40,000 pounds in cash? The rules that apply to mere mortals like us do not apply to celebs. Besides they are private bank clients. They dont do your usual branch runs. In my bank we employees cant even pull up their accounts to view their balances. (trust me i've tried to find Donald Trump's account!) . Their banks are just glad to have them as clients and cater to their every whims. They make a lot of dough and when they want to spend it, you cannot stop them.

I dont know about different laws for celebrities. Even Barry Bonds -US ex  baseball player  who is way too much richer than Martins could only deposit $9,999 to avoid  being questioned by govt officials. Anything above $10k is likely going to trigger an investigation. someone is going to ask u some questions while taking 40K out of your account and someone is going to ask u questions whenever u deposit it. This goes on and on. Since his money is legit, he could worry less of govt officials and I think their incomes are pre-taxed
You are talking about two different things. They are insisting that it is impossible to take out 40k at once but in the US you can take your money if you want. Anything over $10,000.00 of course will raise questions but nobody has the right to stop you from withdrawing your money especially when a judge has not said so or when there is no reason to believe that you are using it to finance terrorism or any other crime.

very silly child. Maybe he married the first one for his parents and had been doing the other one on the side since before the first wife. You never can tell. I feel sorry for the first wife

This is why I never feel sorry for these celebrities (money miss roads) when they get broke. Mike Tyson made over $250,000,000 through out his career and now he is broke. Even if he had blown $50,000,000 on whatever and put the rest in a safe interest yielding only vehicle with 5% interest he still could have made $1,000,000 from interest alone every year. So I am sorry but if this idiot goes broke I will laugh out loud

I used a belt when I was about 5 months pregnant with my first child. Similar to this but not as good. It depends on if you stay active when you are pregnant. It is not unusual to see a pregnant mother wearing this while she exercises at the gym. The baby is actually safe and mom can run away merrily on the treadmill

Just because you tell the truth does not make everything okay. She cannot be trusted ever. You do not sleep with someone for 4 months. 4 MONTHS. The whole time she is planning the wedding and probably still sleeping with her fiance. This was not something that happened in the heat of passion and she just got carried away and all that other BS. It was ongoing. Total disregard for her fiance. There is something wrong with the picture. The few months before the wedding are usually very exciting. I know in the case they had been together for 7 years already (makes no sense to me either cause I would have moved on after 2 at the most) but still no excuse

He should not marry her. This is not a one night stand which is bad enough. She went on for four months while they were planning a wedding, No way o

You see how you dey fool yaself. Condoleeza was never married, merkel does not even bare her current husbands name. Her first marriage ended in divorce and the man that she is married to now is not tearing his pant because his wife is not only not carrying his name but another man's name. How about that? You need to stop acting like an uneducated person. This is the second post I am reading that you started hoping to demean women but you just come off as very immature and childish. I guess the one that blew my mind was Hillary RODHAM Clinton. The whole world knows this. Rodham na her papa name not Bill Clinton's nickname. Please stop embarassing yourself. Mscheeeeeew

@POSTER

The truth is that marriage is NOT all about love. This thing called love FADES. Love is something that peters out in the passage of time. Some fade quicker than the others. Some fade in one month, while others last till one year, two years… just like that. When love fades, the only thing(s) that hold(s) marriage are those things couples must consider before going into marriage:

THEY ARE YOUR VALUES, PHILOSOPHY, BELIEFS, LIKES & DISLIKES. THESE VALUES ARE NON-COMPROMISABLE. HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT BEING UNEQUALLY YOKEDhuh IF THESE ARE NOT CONGRUENT TO A REASONABLE EXTENT, HEY, QUIT. IF YOU DON’T QUIT NOW WHEN THE TEARS CAN BE WIPED EASILY, YOU MAY FIND YOURSELVES WHERE THE TEARS, ACCOMPANIED BY EMOTIONAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, PHYSICAL TRAUMA MAY LAST FOREVER.

ANOTHER WARNING FOR THE SINGLES! THERE IS NOTHING LIKE “(S)HE WILL CHANGE, LET ME MANAGE HIM/HER.” THERE ARE THESE SMALL WARNING SIGNALS THAT FLASH OCCASIONALLY. THEY ARE POINTERS AND YOU CAN BE REST ASSURED THAT BY TOMORROW, THEY WOULD SPIRAL OUT OF CONTROL AND GROW OUT OF PROPORTION.

HOW YOU WONDERED WHY FRIENDSHIP LASTS LONGER THAN LOVE? BECAUSE PEOPLE CHOOSE FRIENDS BASED ON VALUES. HOW YOU WONDERED WHILE AFTER MARRIAGE, MEN & WOMEN STILL CHEAT? SOME GO BACK TO THEIR EXs TO HAVE ILLICIT AFFAIRS? IT'S SIMPLE - VALUES LAST MORE THAN PULCHRITUDE (PHYSICAL BEAUTY) AND ANYTHING!!!
I think you are agreeing with the original poster. He/She did not say this was about marriage

I did that with my ex. I still loved him but it was time to do other things. I think sometimes you just have to be honest with yourself.

In all seriousness I think this might have been a promise ring. People do that. There is no way it can be an engagement ring.
