Not all of them but I feel this way about nigerians that have been here 10, 15, 20, 25 years and still not have papers, doing menial jobs and hiding from immigration. I don't get it o. Their children were babies when they left Nigeria and are grown adults now. They still expect their wives to call themselves married women and their children to call them dad. They have been here so long and yet their children still do not have money to cover schooling expenses. Their wives are overburdened in nigeria. I don't get it. I just don't |
The only thing I know for sure is that you should not have sex with her. If you go see her you will definitely have sex. She will likely never leave her husband so why cause yourself unnecessary pain. She belongs to someone else now. I know it is easy to say but my contribution to this is to call her and tell her that you cannot see her. If you want to you can let her know why you chose not to see her and I am sure she will understand as she probably has the same feelings. Rather than get yourself tangled in a web of lies and deceit why not just do the phone conversations for a while. Check yourself into a seminary and call her from there LOL because it looks like a volcanic eruption is about to happen |
They are very different. Approving of something means that you know what they did and in your opinion it is not wrong. To forgive someone of something means that you know that what they did is wrong but you chose to overlook that wrong. I am one of those people that will put conditions on forgiveness even though some people say to truly forgive you cannot have conditions. I also do not think that there is ever true forgiveness but then again maybe I just have not passed through that stage yet in my journey where I get the meaning of true forgiveness (if it really exists) |
msripley:LOL. Are you serious? I see it as joblessness sha. How are you going to go to someone else house and get upset at what she chooses to call her husband. I no fit laugh. They should not bring it up to the woman abeg before she bans them from her house. Let them respect themselves and enjoy their son and let the woman enjoy her husband. |
I have a friend that people walk into her house and go right to her kitchen and look in her pot and go in her fridge and it does not bother her. That would not fly in my home o. My siblings could do it but no body else. If my husband was home and my siblings were visiting then I would not even expect them to walk in and go into my pot. I feel your pain but if you were more diligent you would have noticed all of this before you married him |
They call each other darling unless they are quarelling then they call each other by their first names |
Thanks |
Larez I would love to talk to you. About how well you have adjusted in Nigeria since you got back. |
So you say nigerians have no respect for the rights of other individuals but lets arm them all with guns and that will fix that problem? I totally misunderstood you because I just do not see how both lines of reasoning could merge into one. |
Thanks Larez. Nigeria is just not ready. Our mentality has to change. Our way of reasoning has to change. The way we treat each other has to change. Thanks for taking the time to break it down cause I sure was not. |

Correction. Most Nigerian men abroad are not married to white women and those that chose to good for them. Nothing wrong with that. My sister is not married to a Nigerian though he is black. My husband was the first nigerian I dated. So please I hope you marry a non nigerian. I am happy that more and more nigerian women are not limiting themselves to just nigerian men. If you do not like our attitude then there are so many other types of women to pick from. Y'all make me sick. There's a nigerian man I know married to a white woman and she calls him nigger and all sorts of names but he stays there because of papers. What a loser. I bet if it was a nigerian woman telling him "nigger did you put gas in my car" he will beat her black and blue. Paper or not. |
Black women are so abusive it raises their blood pressure. Just hush up and stop being ridiculous. Is it a lie that every single Nigerian culture is okay with beating your wife? I bet you cannot say it is a lie. Our culture allows it. Those who chose not to use their wives as punching bags do it because they chose to do it on a personal level. If it is left to our culture men would be totally useless and still be proud of themselves because they wake up in the morning, take a shit and wipe their own asses. You have to do more now for women to be impressed by you. If a woman is putting her all into the marriage the man is also expected to do the same. I don't know why you are getting all defensive because I said that a country that allows a man beat his wife down and not do anything about it is not ready to arm it's citizens just because the citizens say so. |
You have the right to bear arms in the united states but you sure as hell cannot walk around with a loaded gun. THAT IS A CRIME except maybe in texas. Lawlessness is the theme of the day in Nigeria. With the way people act right now (someone will chase his wife down the street and give her a sound beating and no one does a thing about it) we simply are not ready for such a law. You will hear of housewives shooting each other to death over something as silly as their children getting into a fight on the play ground. We do not even have the resources to investigate deaths caused by gun shots. How many police departments in Nigeria have access to to sophisticated crime lab that can prove that blood spatter signifies this or that a bullet wound was not self inflicted. This is just a slippery slope. Nigeria is not ready for this. There are other ways to improve relationships. Just because we have not had a civil war in 3 decades does not mean that Nigeria is safe. You put guns in the hands of people that are still trying to heal from wrongs that have been done to them or in the hands of others who feel that other people are encroaching on their land you will see then that Nigeria is not as stable as you think it is. PS my dad had a gun when we lived in Nigeria but you had to get a license to do that. Do they not issue such guns anymore. You definitely could not conceal t though. t was the double barreled one |
I think you just know. |
Go on with your bad self |
Nigeria is the last place to give everyone the right to walk around with guns in their pockets or purses. It is even ridiculous to think it. Nigeria ke. I laugh. |
'Tis a lesson you should heed, Try, try again. If at first you don't succeed, Try, try again. - Thomas H. Palmer |
I doubt that they are mexicans sha but I may be wrong. They might be colombians cause I know they still do the dowry stuff over there |
Yes. It's online somewhere. |
She was on Funm Iyanda's show once talking about why she was banned. She said that they felt she was dressing too sexy because she exposed the hair on her chest. Apparently Nigerian men find hairy chests sexy. The only place hair should be is on your head. Geez |
I know John Legend's ex girlfriend was nigerian and I do not believe he is gay just because he sings ballads and he is not thugging it out. I guess if you you are a man and have class then you must be gay |
The idiot is probably working at McDonalds. Ode looking for resume to marry wife. His mates are busy toasting. Thank your God that he showed his senselessness right from the beginning |
Some "men" and I use the term loosely were simply raised like animals. Trust me. Their fathers behaved like animals and so they behave the same way. So if you were raised in a household where your parents respected each other please, please, please leave this uncivilized, uncultured bush "men" alone. They are not your level and you bring yourself low by even considering dating them. You cannot change them. A wild animal will always be a wild animal. You can try to domesticate it but one day it's real self will show |
If that child is not being taken care of where she is then you guys should find somewhere else for her to stay until you and your husband resolves the issues you have. I know you are pissed but for the sake of the child abeg find it in your heart to help her out. You can slap your husband upside his head ( he deserves it) but that child has done no wrong. I believe that all you need is time and you will realize that that little girl wants to be in your life. I feel sad for you and the girl but please don't leave her in a bad situation. |
justgood and saraj thank you very much. This last one she added has even put another layer on it. So you held off having kids to take care pf other people's children in Nigeria. What is wrong with you. He gave you chlamydia which by the way can cause infertility. What exactly is your gain in this whole thing? I can tell you one thing for sure I do not know any Nigerian woman that will tell her husband that it is okay for us to hold off having kids so they can take care of other family members. He will not even dare say it to a Nigerian woman. I was going to say the man was stupid but unfortunately that will not be true. |
36 years old and still clubbing. I did not want to say it but I will say it now. He IS PLAYING YOU. It is not the first time he has cheated on you. He probably caught an STD and used it as a way to let you know. Almost 40 and still hopping from club to club. Keep making excuses for him |
Thank God for men like you. Your wife also seems like a very reasonable woman. |
At 18 I could not go out on a saturday night but that is not the point I guess. Do all you can to make sure you stay on campus like other decent young ladies. It sounds like so far your parents have done a good job with you and you will not get crazy when you get on campus. Insist on not staying at home. It is always like this with most african parents. It might also be possible that you are displaying some new behaviors that scares your father. You will have to convince him not just with words but also your behavior that you can handle campus life. Goodluck |
n the 2nd picture am I really seeing his penis coming out of the top of that thing |
