Family › Re: How Do I Convince My Wife I Appreciate Her And Love Her. by Outstrip(f): 2:19am On Mar 25, 2009
I am sorry for your losing your job. Do you tell your wife though that you appreciate her? Do you talk to her? The other thing is as long as you see yourself as inferior simply becasue you lost your job you will continue rubbing her the wrong way. Your job does not define you. YOu and your wife are one and she is doing what any good wife will do. Just keep being a good husband and stop looking sad.
Family › Re: Your In Mother In Laws Choice? Or Urs? by Outstrip(f): 4:06am On Mar 24, 2009
Is he her only child? If she wants to help with the kids then she can come visit and go back home like all mother n laws do but I must say every case is different. It depends on your relationship with her. She might be the sweetest thing but difficult to live with and that is exactly what will be happening if your house is only one bus stop away.
Politics › No Charges For Mrs Mugabe by Outstrip(op): 3:58am On Mar 24, 2009
I know those are real diamonds on the heifers ears. God dey o. Talk about an expensive slap.

The wife of Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has been granted immunity over an alleged attack against a British photographer in Hong Kong.

Photographer Richard Jones says he suffered cuts and bruises after Grace Mugabe punched him while wearing a diamond-studded ring on 15 January.

He says he was taking photos of 43-year-old Mrs Mugabe near a luxury hotel for the Sunday Times newspaper.

Mrs Mugabe is immune under Chinese diplomatic rules, officials said.

Mr Jones had been working on a report about Mrs Mugabe's "extravagant holiday in the Far East that was in stark contrast to the lifestyle of the people of Zimbabwe", according to an article on the Times website.

Michael Sheridan, Far East correspondent for the Sunday Times, said the paper had employed lawyers "to ensure that all the necessary evidence for a prosecution was available to the police".

"Diplomatic immunity should not be a shield for unacceptable and illegal behaviour," he said.

A lawyer for Mr Jones said CCTV footage and witness statements provided strong evidence for his case.

President Robert Mugabe, 85, recently entered a power-sharing agreement with opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai.

The country is facing economic collapse.

There is no proof that this was a scheme. He sad it was legitimate and it went bust due to the financial crises. Being a nigerian definitely will not help his case.

Ebony silk the fact is that even if a woman rolled over her child she will never say because she would have been called a witch and roasted on the nearest stake. We just do not have the statistics. We still have one of the highest infant mortality rates in the world. We can include all those babies whose mothers accidentally rolled over them
Romance › Re: Who Do We Blame For Inatility Problem In A Relationship, The Man Or Woman? by Outstrip(f): 1:40am On Mar 22, 2009
So orgasms now create babies. The couples problem might not even be infertility. If they are this dumb they have probably been putting it in the wrong hole.

@ Ebonysilk he is okay. In fact as soon as the temperature finally came down he was like brand new. Febrile seizures happen when their temperature goes up very quickly and very high. I am just grateful that he slept in my bed that night
Family › Re: I Can't Get On Well With My Mother by Outstrip(f): 3:58pm On Mar 19, 2009
epi it is not that straight forward. I am not saying that her mother is evil cause I had issues with my mom too but I have seen cases were it was simply better to let the mother sort out herself. Mother and daughter relationshps always have k leg but some of those relationships can get very toxic.
Family › Re: I Can't Get On Well With My Mother by Outstrip(f): 2:36am On Mar 19, 2009

Family › Re: I Can't Get On Well With My Mother by Outstrip(f): 2:32am On Mar 19, 2009
I am happy that you are talking about finishing your studies. Why were you not with her until age ten? Stay strong. One thing I know about african mothers (including mine) is that they tend to be very aggressive in their method of raising their children and it never really works. Be strong. There is no reason for a mother to abuse her child but we know it happens. God is your strength. Keep your eyes on the prize. Go to school and be a good citizen.

My first born was in his own room at 7 months, number two was in his crib at 5 months and sleeping through the night. I don't think anyway is wrong though there have been cases of mother's rolling over their babies. I slept in a separate room with my first born for about three months. I kind of feel bad for my husband now when I think back but I had complications with that pregnancy so it gave me a lot of anxiety to be away from him. Also with my baby earlier this year he was running a fever and I gave him tylenol. Something told me to let him sleep in our bed that night. He kept jerking for about an hour just one little jerk then about 15 minutes later another. I got scared and called his doctor around 2 am in the morning and she told me to call 911 as it was the beginning of a febrile seizure. His temperature shot up to 104 and tylenol was just not working. Fortunately while I was waiting for the paramedics to get there I gave him ibruprofen and then they got there and hooked up the machne that checks for the amount of oxygen in his blood. I felt so sick. If he had slept in his bed that night I would not have noticed the little jerks that would have definitely led up full seizures. God was looking out for my baby that night. It was very scary. I know people that their children sleep in their beds till they are 4 or 5 and that usually kills their sex life.

I was saying maybe if LadyT was ugly you would have a point but the woman is fine so you have already lost before you opened your mouth. You even make the Leilah you are defending look bad. Say what you want about the average nigerian woman but even the craziest ones will not get drunk enough to break the damned tv. Abi was she punching the tv back after it punched her in her drunken state. Please pretend you have some sense and stop defending nonsense. It's the child I pity. Both the mother and father have serious issues
Health › Re: 3.5million Nigerians Mentally Sick!how True? by Outstrip(f): 9:46pm On Mar 17, 2009
It's probably more than that. All those people that are going from church to church for deliverance are probably mostly mental illness cases. Teh ones confessing to witchcraft are probably mostly mental health cases. You cannot just count the ones that are running naked on the streets

@ OUTSTRIP

I would suggest you hit the game and not the player, i wonder what my dreams have to do with an open discussion, you realy need to learn how to fight without name calling. Thank God you are not the poster o, i wonder wetin you for tell me next.

yes the Children need to be protected so that they don't think their mother's way of life is normal. I dont support it when a man expects his wife to do all the chores because no man can try that with me but i can't stand a lazy woman either. Call a spade a spade, she needs to sit up and take charge of her home.
What the hell are you talking about. Can you quote me because you are writing crap that I never said. Where did I call you a name? Madness
Family › Re: Please Help|my Wife Is Very Lazy by Outstrip(f): 1:27pm On Mar 16, 2009
sparta she does not wake up at 1pm everyday. They have a child and the poster works so obviously the wife is the one taking care of the child unless they have invented a way to take care of a child in your sleep

Family › Re: Managing Children And Getting The Chores Done by Outstrip(f): 4:52am On Mar 15, 2009
She has said in the past that they are not allowed to get juice out of the fridge without permission. This is simply too much. I had similar chores as a child but I sure as hell did not do it everyday not to talk of before 5:30. This is not healthy for those kids. Honestly I can tell she wants the best for her kids but the more she talks the more she starts to sound manic in a way
