He is a liar.
He will never change.
You were not even the main girlfriend.
You are better off without him.
You have seen the handwriting on the wall.
It is time to move on.
Don't ever take him back.
He definitely has measured you and he has come to the conclusion that you are a fool. Prove him wrong.

Some parents are so irresponsible in Nigeria. How do you give away your child without checking on them. Even the ones that run away mght not even make it back home. The parents will blame poverty as usual not themselves

I know a lady that stutters. My dad stutters and so does my brother but it is not very noticeable. It s rare to find people that stutter here because they get therapy when they are very young. Marrying someone that stutters is not a big deal to me but to each their own

Ironically mother in laws aren’t the issues dis days but sis in laws and bro in laws are the real pain in the neck
I can understand mother in laws drama. I can put up with that to an extent but sister or brother in laws, hell no

stillwater I think most people agree with you. It is just that the 5:30 thing is just too much. I bet the kids just feel like she is a nag. I remember that we always tried to please our mom by going above and beyond but she would still complain as soon as she walks through the front door. My dad had to even let her have it once when she did that to us. I don't even think she realized that she was not being appreciative. I think the chores are okay for the older kid but lets not forget that they are still kids and I personally think that she is doing a good job with teaching them responsibility

I asked this question a few weeks ago and never really got a clear answer. I am from Edo state so I am praying that Oshiomole who is also from my LGA will also do the same in Edo state. I know that having dependable power supply will make a world of difference. I have much respect for people that show that they have common sense. Common sense turns me on grin grin grin grin . Lack of common sense is simply the biggest problem we have in Nigeria.

She has not even asked her husband yet. How does she know it is even true? If she has not asked him and she is willing to believe it is true it is because deep down she knew all along that he was up to something.

Aren't the Police wife beaters themselves?
Very good question. This is the reason why a lot of times they let men like this go free. It's the same with many pastors in Nigeria. They beat up their wives so they will usually tell a female church member that she should not leave her marriage because their husband is simply beating the crap out of her day and night. Hypocrites!!!!!!!

Some people are very good at not paying their debts.

I used to sell lace and one pregnant woman bought 6 sets of very expensive lace for her naming ceremony. After many excuses and many sob stories later she finally paid the money when the baby was about to celebrate its first birthday.

She only paid after I went to her house to ask for the money. She then picked a fight with me and told me that is it not only lace that I am selling and I should take it easy jor!

I still have one woman owing me money from December 2007 and I see her in church every Sunday. She even wears the lace to church. What else can I say.
Someone will have to hold me back so I don't strip her naked. I have a cousin that has boutiques in Lagos and it is the same wahala for her. She actually had someone get their gun out when she went to get her money from his house. She is mad sha because when she saw the gun, she charged the man and held him and his gun. The man actually paid her before she left his house. Wicked people. Even when they can afford to they will not pay.

I remember doing dishes, cooking, moping and sweeping the yard by the time I was in primary 6 (which I believe is like 11 or 12 years old). I think that it might be a little much for the 9 year old but then again hard work does not kill. I think you are doing a good job with them just don't over do it.
Family › Re: Man Wants Kidney Back From Wife After She Filled For Divorce by Outstrip(f): 6:41pm On Mar 09, 2009
I might give it to my "husband" if it makes sense. Removing the kidney has risks just like every other surgical procedure. People have died in the process of donating organs. For a lover when I have children probably not. Giving a kidney is not going to the store and picking it off a shelf. It is a big deal.
Family › Re: Man Wants Kidney Back From Wife After She Filled For Divorce by Outstrip(f): 4:09pm On Mar 09, 2009
Ok if that is the case then I will agree with you but I will see if I can find the news article where it was said that she was cheated on him the whole time without him knowing. She failed to say that because she wanted the kidney.
Family › Re: Man Wants Kidney Back From Wife After She Filled For Divorce by Outstrip(f): 3:32am On Mar 09, 2009
MrBrownJ you miss the point. He would not have given the kidney of he knew that she was dating someone else. She got the kidney deceitfully. That was wrong. Of course he will not get the kidney back but he has a right to be upset not that she has to stay with him because he gave her a kidney but because she lied to get the kidney

May Kelly you already sound like an irresponsible mother. You have already decided that the father has no responsibility to the children's upbringing. You have already failed. I give you an F. I hope that you do not raise the son that if I had a daughter she would even be interested in.
Family › Re: Relationship Between Wives and Mothers-In-Law by Outstrip(f): 5:07pm On Mar 08, 2009
Your mother in law will only go as far as her son lets her. So when she misbehaves corner your husband and put pepper in his eyes

I also wish she could tell us all what sins I committed. This is a girl that I brought up like my own daughter, mended the bad relationship between her and father, gave her moral and financial support from secondary school up till now that she's running a PG programme @29yrs without expecting anything in return but even general household chores she declines to partcipate in! Sometimes this becomes too much for me to bear especially when I know I haven't done anything to warrant her peculiar behaviour. I've talked to her as a mother, others have also did likewise but she refused to change, if at all there is the law of Karma/nemesis I believe I'd surely be vindicated. Like some people said I initially consoled myself that she'd soon get marry and go but it appears of late marriage is not on her agenda
But you did not raise her like your daughter. You did not punish her or make her do things the way you did your own children because you were worried about what people would say. You should have insisted then. I cannot see myself cleaning after a 29 year old. Even when my mom came to spend a few weeks with me she did most of the household work to help me out. The person you should be talking to is your husband. If you guys agree together that she is not pulling her weight then she will have no choice but to contribute to the household
Family › Re: Man Wants Kidney Back From Wife After She Filled For Divorce by Outstrip(f): 2:25am On Mar 08, 2009
The man risked his life for her because he assumed that they would spend the rest of their lives together. It was risky. There was a chance that both of them could have died and left the children as orphans. The woman was having an affair while the guy was in surgery having his kidney chopped off. He will obviously not get the kidney back but imagine if that one kidney that he has fails in the future. She goes on with her life and the man has to be on dialysis while he waits for someone to give him a kidney or even worse he dies

Phemmy they still wear gloves o. The thing tire me. How can a man be wearing lace on his hands. I don't understand it
Family › Re: Who Is Happier On The Wedding Day,the Man Or The Woman? by Outstrip(f): 4:33pm On Mar 06, 2009
To be honest I wanted the thing over quickly. Everything including the reception was over by 5pm. Most of it irritated me. I had fun organizing some of the details but then the actual ceremony was not exciting for me. I did not want to wear gloves cause I thought it was itchy and stupid. They finally convinced me to wear a veil. The only thing that I really loved was the dress. It was off the hook and I will probably dye it one day so I can wear it to a party or something.
