If I were your "friend" I will keep you far away so you do not ruin my marriage. Nobody just gets up and goes especially when he is not sure what plans they have for the day or if his going to play ball might disrupt something. It is called responsibility. It's not like it is something that is always scheduled. You get up and called your friend to just jump up and come and play ball. Would you then not be a control freak for expecting that he should be readily available for you and your ball?

Follow monopolist advice. There are so many people looking for educated people like you to do things for them. I know about 4 people right now who wants a visible person in their place of business in Nigeria but they have not been able to find someone they can trust. Market yourself properly. If you find something with someone they tend to hide you from everybody else so that they do not lose you. You can seriously be a company yourself if you are disciplined. Good luck
Well I believe that when you have issues with your brothers or sisters you can discuss it with your spouse without putting them down. And also you don't tell your brothers or sisters about some issues concerning your spouse. What happens between you and your partner should be your business and what happens between you and your brothers and sisters is your business too but only to be discussed with yr spouse.
For the most part. It still depends on the spouse though. It definitely goes both ways because when you guys have ironed out issues others will still be carrying it on their head.

Your wife should be your beneficiary but everyone in addition should have a will. If anything were to happen to you and she remarries then the money can go into a trust for your son.
Family › Re: How Do I Handle A Close Family Friend Trying To Sleep With My Maid? by Outstrip(f): 8:33pm On Jul 09, 2010
If you confront the man he will lie about it. You just have to get more evidence somehow. You also have to let your maid understand that you are solidly behind her. That will give her the confidence to tell the man to respect his old age the next time he tries to touch her
Family › Re: 70% Of Nigerians Are Mentally Unstable - Psychiatrist by Outstrip(f): 6:25pm On Jul 09, 2010
People are just upset about this but I still say I believe. There are some accepted behaviors that I see displayed sometimes that I completely feel are psychopathic but Nigerians will say it is okay or that is just the way things are done. Coupled with the fact that most people are frustrated then we have a serious problem. Now these might not be people running the streets naked trying to hump the woman selling akara but some behaviors to me that are generally accepted are not normal. The funny thing is that we laugh about some of the behaviors too. LOL. Just like I am laughing now

I think your spouse should be in the know or at least get a feel for his/her opinion. A PA is very different from an office secretary. The work of a PA will always blend in with your personal life. ALWAYS

It is not a leash. That is absolutely necessary especially when you are with multiple children. When I was in Nigeria recently we were driving through anthony village and there was this cute little boy walking looking very tired. His mother was so far ahead of him it was ridiculous. It occured to me that someone could just pick him up and his mother would be clueless. Those "leashes" as you call them come in different designs and some are not even attached to the child. The one I used on my son was a winnie the pooh backpack and it's tail was very long and I held on to that while I pushed the stroller around with his brother in it. It worked well for my family. I will take that any day than leave my children to run rampart like nomads

Bidemi it is not necessarily better to carry your child on your back but it is not necessarily better to not carry them either. One is not better than the other. There are safe ways to carry your child on your back. I was never comfortable with the wrapper thing but I have carried my children on my back here in the US

Why is the government so involved in sports for goodness sake. If you ask one of them to do a push up they will end up spinning on their pot bellies like a battery operated top. All of a sudden they want to ban this and ban that. Maybe they are under the impression that they don't have work to do
Celebrities › Re: Alicia Keys Cheated A Married Woman and a friend! by Outstrip(f): 12:17am On Jul 05, 2010
Mrbrownjay let the grown folks talk about marriage. You might know something about sexual relationships but obviously nothing about marriage. If both of them agreed that they were going their separate ways and where on the same page on divorce then you might begin to have a point. Separation does not mean divorce. If marriage was serious for someone they would not simply jump into the next v a g i n a they see. Marriage has more meaning than that.

With friends like you who needs enemies? I think you should apologise. It's simply the right thing to do. Don't expect that you guys could ever be close friends again.
