Only Okun should be called Yoruba but as an Okun boy who has lived in South West before, I chose not to be called Yoruba cos of the tribalistic nature of Yoruba people. They don't know the difference between Ebira and Okun. To them, anybody from Kogi is Ebira and they say that in a condescending manner like you are inferior.
How is Ebira and Okun the same? No similarity. Yet those uninformed tribalistic bigots would open their dirty mouths to talk down on you like they are better. No matter how horrible or poor they are, they automatically have this energy to feel superior to you. Nonsense.

Tinubu chose Buhari over a fellow southerner.

In 2023, we will tell him that two can play the game.

As it stands, we don’t even care if we don’t even get the Vice Presidential slot anymore as long as it will help to ensure Tinubu doesn’t get the presidency.

The next president is coming from the north because Tinubu cannot stop a southern president and also expect to be president.

For there to be any southern president there must be a deliberate effort of the yoruba to support the igbo. That I do not see.

So the north will capitalized on that division to takeover from Buhari. Even APC ticket for TINUBU will be very dicey if a Northern is on the race.

It's not about love, or emotions. Politics is a game of cold hard logic, and interests.

The problem with many supporters of that "man from Lagos" is that he is seeking to reap when it is not yet his time.

The SW has already gotten the presidency and VP positions respectively. The SW also currently holds considerable sway in the current administration and one can even say the SW is receiving the lion share of the infrastructural benefits.

The North under this high-jacked administration is suffering. Last week, 63 people were abducted in Kaduna and another 56 in Katsina, and 24 people abducted in Sokoto, the North is suffering because this administration was high-jacked by SW elements looking to divert all the resources to the south leaving the North in the condition we see today.

Essentially, this has turned into the administration which solely benefits the south, mainly the SW, leaving the North to be suffering most under a "Northern" president. Enough is enough....

Accordingly, the SW has had more than any other region in terms of being in the seat of power or close to power. We need to implement zoning, and the only zones yet to see the presidency are the NC and the NE.

Both of these regions are some of the worst hit in terms of neglect and this needs to be corrected in 2023. Preferably, and for equity sake, the NC should produce the presidency as it is yet to produce a president during this dispensation of democracy, instead the NC is constantly given party chairmen, when what is needed is the presidency.

We are quietly waiting for the primaries to be over, if the NC or NE doesn't emerge with the party ticket of APC, then PDP is always an option for the North, however the only problem with PDP is that they are leaning towards NE instead of rightfully allowing justice and the NC to produce the president.

Since PDP is choosing a Northerner and a SS/SE VP candidate, it would be better for APC to likewise field a Northerner in order to stand a chance of winning.

The reality is that a SW Muslim, with a Christian Northerner is not an ideal combination going by political realities presently on ground. It's a very tall order to expect Northerners to leave a Northerner to vote a southerner, especially one who will have a Northern christian, Northern christians have very little elective value when it comes to the core North.

Supporting an El Rufai presidential campaign would be a better bet, maybe pair him with a southern christian, and then that combination would have political leverage to defeat the PDP. If APC fields someone from the SW, that would implicitly mean that the SS and SE would essentially be in PDP's ambit as they have more to gain under a Northern President, than a southern president. The VP position comes to mind.

The SW should really look to throw their weight behind the North in order to be a part of the center.
