Consultations are currently ongoing and at concluding stages within the PDP and will extend across party lines in the coming days, weeks and months.

An ardent supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari and a reliable member of the APC, it's doubtful if Kalu will accept running under his former party.

Has nigeria been favourable to nigerians considering how backward we have gone over the years in terms of economy, security, infrastructure, etc.

You are making two big mistakes;


1) Ancestries doesn't necessarily mean the current ethnic identity. For instance, Barack Obama has a Kenyan ancenstry but this doesn't mean he is a Kenyan.
The ruling saxe-coburg-gota (Windsor) royal family of Britain has a German ancestry but this doesn't mean the family is not a British family but a German family.


2) The ancestries of the king may not necessarily mean the ethnic Identity of the town e.g The Ruling Bourbon royal family of Spain has a French ancenstry but this doesn't mean that Spain is now part of France.
The Obi of Onitsha has Bini ancestry but Onitsha is not a Bini Town.

Northern politicians whose Interests will be jeopardized if Atiku/PDP wins will not necessarily support Atiku.
Many northern PDP chieftains who supported APC in 2015 against their own party became political orphans and learnt bitter lessons.

Similarly, southern politicians who think that the victory of the APC will reduce their polical relevance will rather support the PDP.
