sirequity: http://www.socialtimesng.com/2016/12/senate-to-buharis-sgf-lawal-you-must-go/ This is the problem with Nigeria youths here on Nairaland. Somebody in the government by all indications has committed a financial crime and the lawmakers are here calling for his removal. Instead of everyone to raise voice to ensure that such person is removed and prosecute unfortunately, some of us are busy insulting the Senators. How can we move forward? And that's is the issue I am personally having with this government of change who promised to fight corruption. Whenever there's allegations of corruption against anybody in the presidency, the matter won't be investigated, everything will just be swept under the carpet. It's wrong and that's why many Nigerians keep questioning the government's political will to really fight corruption. |
Car Talk › Re: 5 Real Reasons Car Importation Through Land Border Was Banned by ozimec(m): 10:05am On Dec 16, 2016 |
AutoJoshNG: When the rich lament about the ban of car importation through land border, I always understand their plight. However, for the average Nigerian that intends to buy that 2003 Toyota Camry… You need not worry because you didn’t even have any real benefit before the ban.
Reasons car importation through land border was banned:
1. Only Politicians and Top Government Officials truly benefitted: These guys smuggle brand new cars through the land border like pure water. In 2014, I went to Ilaro for the first time and slept over. You won’t believe over 100 brand new Land Cruiser and Prado SUVs were smuggled into the country through that route that day. The vehicles came in around 6 pm and were parked in a large compound until they departed at midnight. The residents told me most of those cars were going to Abuja. As the owner of the compound was an official smuggler for the politicians.
2. Corruption, Leakages and Smuggling: You do not want to imagine how much corruption has been going on at that Seme border. The Custom officials are just getting richer at the expense of the country.
Leakages and pillages everywhere. Custom exploiting smugglers and smugglers killing Custom officials in return. It has even become a battle field with over 70 Custom officers killed in 2016 alone.
3. Double Duty Makes an Cotonou Cars More Expensive: Are you among those who think Cotonou cars are cheaper? Wake up, It’s a myth.
This is the logic. Cars in Cotonou are not sourced from space. They are imported from USA, Canada and Europe. This means, Lagos and Cotonou bound cars are bought from the same market… at similar prices. Shipping cost is also not different.. I know this because I have shipped to both locations. So how can a Cotonou car be cheaper? The answers are simple:
-- Some greedy Nigerian car dealers add excessive profit margin on their cars. Compared to Cotonou dealers who focus on quick sales turnover. -- Partial or total evasion of import duty at the land border.
If you buy a 2003 Toyota Camry from Cotonou, you will pay 500,000 Cefa as import duty to Benin Republic government. You will also pay another import duty to the Nigeria government if you follow the legal route. Both duties will not be less than N600k. Obviously, that’s higher than the N435k you will pay at TINCAN or Apapa port in Lagos. Thanks to the car crossers (Fayawo drivers) who help cross the cars at little or zero duty.
Note: The 500,000 Cefa duty in Cotonou is usually a flat fee so it is insignificant to importers of expensive and exotic cars. So, a 2016 G-Wagon owner will prefer to smuggle through Cotonou with N2 million instead of paying N21 million in Apapa port.
4. Locally Assembled Cars: The bigwigs that smuggle these exotic cars can as well buy brand new cars that are assembled in Nigeria. Federal Government wants them to patronise Innoson Motors, Peugeot Nigeria, Stallion Motors, Eastern Vehicle Assembling Limited (EVAL) etc. This will create jobs and reduce the demand for dollar.
5. Add Your Own: Tell us your own reason why you think car importation through land border should or should not be banned.

Cc Lalasticlala Mynd44 Ishilove Marpol Semid4lyfe Obinoscopy I disagree with in you. Point number 3 isn't correct. Apapa or Tin can imported cars are far costlier than Cotonu imported cars brother. |
Crime › Re: MMM: About-to-wed Man Drinks Insecticide Over Alleged Crash Of Scheme In Otukpo by ozimec(m): 5:01pm On Dec 13, 2016 |
DONSMITH123: A soon-to-wed man simply identified as Adakole is currently between life and death after allegedly taking insecticide following the alleged crash of Ponzi scheme, Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox, famously known as MMM.
The incident happened in Otukpo, Benue State, after promoters and participants were thrown into confusion on Tuesday following the news that the ponzi scheme has been frozen.
Reports had it that all confirmed accounts, as at early hours of Monday, were frozen.
DAILY POST gathered that Adakole, a native of Ai Okpe in Okpokwu LGA whose wedding is slated for December 28 had earlier invested 300 thousand into the scheme last month and was expecting to get his 30 per cent income before his wedding.
An eyewitness told our reporter that when the news broke out Tuesday morning, Adakole, who was introduced into the business literally went mad.
“Kole is my childhood friend, we all grew up in Ugbokolo but when he traveled to Abuja to meet with the pastor of his fiancée, he said someone introduced him into the MMM thing but I and his babe warned him but he told us the scheme was not a scam.
“This early morning, he called me to check the internet if the story of the alleged crashed of the scheme was true, I told him so I heard and he screamed and hung up.
“When I heard him, I knew it was no longer funny, so I had to rush to his house around Sabon Gari to discover that he had taken Raid insecticide. I had to call the fiancée to inform her.
“I had to take him to the clinic where he is currently battling for his life. The babe is already on her way from Abuja,” he added.
When our reporter contacted the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, Moses Yamu, he said the incident has not been reported.
“We are yet to receive the report as we speak but I promise to get back to you as soon as I get the report,” he assured.
Meanwhile, the founders have announced that the scheme has not crashed as widely being speculated, adding that it was only in pause mode.
They called on investors not to panic as the scheme would return next year.

People will be complaining and protesting for all the injustices, deprivations, marginalizations and reckless abandonment matted on them, instead of government to call them and listen to them, government will choose the option of intimidation to suppress them. Now, when that stupid act of government will force them into violent act of destroying government property, everybody will start talking. Nobody likes violence, Niger Delters are not violent people, they only asking for Justice to be done. Igbo's that are agitating for secession love Nigeria more than some people who claim to love Nigeria. If only government both past and present had done what they suppose to do, all these agitations would have been buried. Call the agitators, know why they are agitating, or why they want to secede, attend to some of their demands, let there be equity, and equal representation also let there be fairness in sharing resources between government and the oil rich region of Nd. I'm by no means supporting bombing of oil facilities but, I think instead of us to keep on condemning the act, we should better put pressure on the government to do the right thing and save this Nation. |

EdifiedCEO: Jigawa State Government has disclosed that some teachers said to have gone for in-service courses in universities across the world, have graduated but has since refused to report to their place of work.
The action of those teachers compelled the government to further suspend indefinitely in-service training courses and set up special committee to find those involved and other teachers receiving salaries without coming to work, Vanguard reports.
The government was furious that the teachers betrayed its trust by remaining abroad when their expertise was needed back home.
Lamenting the development, the Head of Service, Mohammed Inuwa Tahir, told journalists yesterday that some workers spent 14 to 15 years studying.
He said: “What kind of degree course does a worker spend 15 years studying and still collecting salaries.
“Our government will not condone laziness and unfair act by some workers who have the habit of completing their study and refusing to report back to their place of work.”
The officials said the screening committee was established to fish out absentees and ghost workers, contrary to some insinuations that it was set up to witch-hunt workers.

Christianity Etc › Re: Can Nigerian Pastors Dress This Simple To Church? by ozimec(m): 2:26pm On Oct 23, 2016 |
ERONX: Although I'm not a churchy type, I'm a christian, and I'm not trying to condemn any Nigerian pastor or pastors... Its a pity most Nigerian pastors live lavishly and majority of their members wallow in poverty.
I decided to go to church today Sunday after a long time, during service I discovered how simple the pastor was dressed, no flashy suits, no flashy gold rolex, no bodyguard's etc. He preached the word with utmost sincerity and I had a nice time in the presence of God. I was asked to step forward as a first timer, the pastor prayed for me and after service the members and pastors kept on welcoming me. The pastor even invited me to have lunch with his family after service which I generously turned down.
THIS IS WHAT CHRISTIANITY IS ALL ABOUT BROTHERLY LOVE. Do you dress like this to your church? Did Jesus whose lifestyle we emulate as Christians ever appeared like this? Even the Apostle of old never dressed this way. It's not decent at all. |
Christianity Etc › Christianity- A Reflection Of Jesus Lifestyle by ozimec(op): 12:55pm On Oct 23, 2016 |
CHRISTIANITY: The True Meaning.
A dictionary definition of a Christian would be something similar to “a person professing belief in Jesus as the Christ or in the religion based on the teachings of Jesus.” While this is a good starting point but, it falls short of really showing the biblical truth of what it means to be a Christian. The word “Christian” is used three times in the New Testament (Acts 11:26; 26:28; 1 Peter 4:16). Followers of Jesus Christ were first called “Christians” in Antioch (Acts 11:26) because their behavior, activity, and speech were like Christ. The word “Christian” literally means, “belonging to the party of Christ” or a “follower of Christ.”
Unfortunately over time, the word “Christian” has lost a great deal of its significance and is often used of someone who is religious or has high moral values but who may or may not be a true follower of Jesus Christ. Many people who do not believe and trust in Jesus Christ consider themselves Christians simply because they go to church or they live in a “Christian” nation. But going to church, or being a good person does not make you a Christian. Being a member of a church, attending services regularly, and giving to the work of the church does not make you a Christian.
The Bible teaches that the good works we do cannot make us acceptable to God. Titus 3:5 says, “He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.” So, a Christian is someone who has been born again by God (John 3:3; John 3:7; 1 Peter 1:23) and has put faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8 tells us that it is “…by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
A true Christian is a person who has put faith and trust in the person and work of Jesus Christ, including His death on the cross as payment for sins and His resurrection on the third day. John 1:12 tells us, “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” The mark of a true Christian is love for others and obedience to God’s Word (1 John 2:4, 10). A true Christian is indeed a child of God, a part of God’s true family, and one who has been given new life in Jesus Christ. One who has forsaken his/her old sinful ways of life and has follow the lifestyle of Christ whose seed (Spirit) dwells in by being born again. Therefore, a Christian must not continue in a sinful lifestyle after redemption. Romans 6:1-2 says "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?. When you are redeemed, you becomes dead to sin because the spirit of God now dwells in you. That is why1John 3:8-9 says that, "He that commits sin of the devil... Whosoever that is born of God doesn't sin because, the seed of God is in him ... So, a Sinner is not a Christian and a Christian is not a sinner and remember, 1John 5:17 states that "all unrighteousness is sin and 1Corinthians 6:9-10 confirms that unrighteous person cannot enter into the Kingdom of God..". So, you need to know where you belong so as to make amends. A Christian must be someone whose lifestyle is in tandem with that Christ and the Apostles of old. Also He must surrender his will to the will of the Father (God). Dear friend, what type of Christianity do you practice?. Remember, there is only one true Christianity. Therefore, I implore you to reflect on this and make amendments where necessary and, ensure you surrender your life to Jesus, confess and repent from your sinful lifestyle and follow after righteousness and holiness. Be ready for the RAPTURE!. Remain blessed. |

Talk2Bella: Don’t you get tired when people ask you this question? But here I am asking you, why are you single? Most people don’t know being single sometimes is a choice, but what’s a choice without a purpose or a reason? If you don’t know why you’re single then you need to know why no one is asking you out.
Everyone these days is single, a guy comes up to you and says he’s single, you know this very pretty girl and she tells you she’s single and you open your mouth in awe because you don’t believe such a beaut could be single.
What is the reason behind that decision you’ve taken to be single
Work?
Heartbreak?
Sexual preference?
Finance?
Time?
Lack of a dating type?
Honesty?
Location?
School?
Waiting on someone to notice you?
Age?
Gender?
Lack of interest?
Self-Searching?
Character?
Family Background?
Tell me your reason and purpose, being single is no fun without a purpose, it sometimes lead to depression, envy, suicidal thoughts and lonesome nights.
You begin to question yourself and your existence, most people who always scream team single {without a purpose} are dying inside, they need that companionship, someone to talk to, someone to listen to, someone to touch, someone to play with, they just need someone and most times because there’s a lack of someone they begin to give everyone a chance which becomes a cycle and leads to more heartbreak and then we hear the Forever Single Phrase all over again.
You need to know why you’re single, there’s enough people in the world to go around for everyone, heck people are getting married every Saturday, every day, and you’re there scream “SINGLE LADIES” “SINGLE MEN CREW” wake up, you need help ASAP screaming Team No Hoes won’t alleviate the loneliness you feel inside, screaming Team No Dykes won’t make you feel any better, you need a purpose for being single or without that you’re just someone who isn’t able to get a man or a woman.
While I was in the University, I didn’t date, not that I didn’t have a play companion, I just didn’t want anything serious because I wanted to finish school without distractions and I saw that as one, and when I finished school I said nah, I need a job before I’d date, no one wants to date a liability, when I finally got a job I was ready to date, I did for a while and realized I wanted more things in life than dating and I went for it.
This isn’t a write-up to make you feel bad, for everything there’s a season and a reason and without these you’re just floating on the plane of reality, not making an impact, not contributing, you’re just sliding in and out without realizing how opaque your life is.
This doesn’t apply to dating alone, why do you do the things you do? What’s the reason behind the purpose that’s motivating you? Don’t forget to drop your comment and encourage someone.
Thanks.

007truthbetold: RESPONSE TO HON. JUSTICE NGWUTA ALLEGATIONS
Our attention has been drawn to the allegations leveled against Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation, by Supreme Court Justice, The Honourable Justice Sylvester Ngwuta. In response we state that:
1. The Hon. Justice Ngwuta’s allegation as it concerns Amaechi is nothing but pure fiction, a dubious diversionary tale concocted to muddle the very serious issues of his arrest and investigation by the Department of State Services (DSS). 2. For emphasis, we want to state categorically that Amaechi did not and has never tried to lobby, induce or make the Hon. Justice Ngwuta to influence the outcome of any matter before the Supreme Court or any other court. The Hon. Justice Ngwuta’s narrative as it concerns Amaechi is simply not true, an unadulterated fallacy design to deceive and distract from the real issues of DSS investigation of acts of corruption against him. 3. It’s indeed very sad and most unfortunate that the Hon. Justice Ngwuta had decided to drag the name of the Honourable Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), into his fabricated allegations. Again, We make bold to state that Amaechi did not and has never lobbied, approached or attempted to make the CJN or any other Justice of the apex court to influence the Supreme Court judgment on the Rivers State and Ekiti State Governorship Elections petition appeals or any other matter before the apex court or any other court. 4. Within a space of 48 hours, we have observed a carefully planned and coordinated political attempt to drag Amaechi into the DSS arrest and investigation of judges in Nigeria. The aim of the plot is two-fold: to smear and politically destroy the image and reputation of Amaechi, and deceitfully portray him as the person behind the arrest of judges. This is indeed most ridiculous and callous. 5. We are aware of a well timed, heavily funded plot to “take out” Amaechi politically, and it appears that Justice Ngwuta and Justice Inyang Okoro (of the Supreme Court, who had also made similar made-up allegations against Amaechi), have wittingly or unwittingly been conscripted into this devious politics of “destroy Amaechi by all means.” 6. Amaechi is not and cannot be behind the arrest and investigation of the Hon. Justice Ngwuta. He should kindly leave Amaechi alone and face the issues he has with the DSS. 7. Amaechi is talking with his lawyers and will explore lawful channels to seek redress for this gross defamation against his character and person.
Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi Media Office 20/10/16 Amaechi it's obvious you're guilty of all these allegations coming from different judges...your desperation is second to non. |
Politics › Buhari Had An Opportunity To Reform Nigeria Early On But Wasted It- Chimamanda A by ozimec(op): 12:01pm On Oct 20, 2016 |
To Boldly Reform Nigeria – Chimamanda “He had an opportunity to make real reforms early on, to boldly reshape Nigeria’s path. He wasted it.” BY PUNCH NEWSPAPEROCT 19, 2016 Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie says President Muhammadu Buhari has squandered the massive goodwill and support he had upon his inauguration as President and missed an opportunity to set Nigeria on the right path. “Mr. Buhari ascended to the presidency with a rare advantage — not only did he have the good will of a majority of Nigerians, he elicited a peculiar mix of fear and respect,” she wrote in an opinion for The New York Times, published on Tuesday. “For the first weeks of his presidency, it was said that civil servants who were often absent from work suddenly appeared every day, on time, and that police officers and customs officials stopped demanding bribes.” She said although she experienced political fear for the first time, aged seven, under Buhari’s military regime in 1984, she welcomed his election 30 years later in 2015 because “he represented some form of hope”. “Because for the first time, Nigerians had voted out an incumbent in an election that was largely free and fair,” she said. “Because Mr. Buhari had sold himself as a near-ascetic reformer, as a man so personally above board that he would wipe out Nigeria’s decades-long corruption.” Although she acknowledged that Nigeria was difficult to govern, she said Buhari wasted an opportunity through his actions – from his appointments to his economic decisions. “He had an opportunity to make real reforms early on, to boldly reshape Nigeria’s path. He wasted it,” she said. “Perhaps the first clue was the unusually long time it took him to appoint his ministers. After an ostensible search for the very best, he presented many recycled figures with whom Nigerians were disenchanted. “But the real test of his presidency came with the continued fall in oil prices, which had begun the year before his inauguration.” She explained that while the plunge in oil prices was bound to have a catastrophic impact on the economy because it was “unwholesomely dependent on oil”, Buhari’s actions made it even more so. She cited the policy of defending the naira through which the official exchange rate was kept “artificially low” but caused the exchange rate to balloon on the black market and restriction of access to the central bank’s foreign currency reserves, which “spawned corruption”. She said while the exchange rate crisis caused the price for everything – rice, bread, cooking oil – rice and forced businesses to fire employees with some folding, “the exclusive few who were able to buy dollars at official rates could sell them on the black market and earn large, riskless profits — transactions that contribute nothing to the economy.” According to her, although Buhari believed, rightly, that Nigeria needed to produce more of what it consumed, and he wanted to spur local production, local production could not be willed into existence if the supporting infrastructure was absent. “And banning goods has historically led not to local production but to a thriving shadow market,” she added. “His intentions, good as they well might be, are rooted in an outdated economic model and an infantile view of Nigerians. “For him, it seems, patriotism is not a voluntary and flexible thing, with room for dissent, but a martial enterprise: to obey without questioning.” Adichie also faulted Buhari’s handling of the herdsmen/famers clashes in the country. She said, “Since Mr. Buhari came to power, villages in the middle-belt and southern regions have been raided, the inhabitants killed, their farmlands sacked. Those attacked believe the Fulani herdsmen want to forcibly take over their lands for cattle grazing. “It would be unfair to blame Mr. Buhari for these killings, which are in part a result of complex interactions between climate change and land use. But leadership is as much about perception as it is about action, and Mr. Buhari has appeared disengaged. “It took him months, and much criticism from civil society, to finally issue a statement “condemning” the killings. His aloofness feels, at worst, like a tacit enabling of murder and, at best, an absence of sensitive leadership. “Most important, his behavior suggests he is tone-deaf to the widely held belief among southern Nigerians that he promotes a northern Sunni Muslim agenda. “He was no less opaque when the Nigerian Army murdered hundreds of members of a Shiite Muslim group in December, burying them in hastily dug graves. Or when soldiers killed members of the small secessionist pro-Biafran movement who were protesting the arrest of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, a little-known figure whose continued incarceration has elevated him to a minor martyr.” In terms of the war on corruption, she said, “Nigerians who expected a fair and sweeping cleanup of corruption have been disappointed. Arrests have tended to be selective, targeting mostly those opposed to Mr. Buhari’s government. “The anti-corruption agencies are perceived not only as partisan but as brazenly flouting the rule of law.” Chimamanda Adichie mediashop247.co http://saharareporters.com/2016/10/19/buhari-wasted-opportunity-boldly-reform-nigeria-%E2%80%93-chimamanda |

Politics › Re: Aisha’s BBC Interview – She Got It All Wrong, My Respect For PMB Just Soars by ozimec(m): 12:01pm On Oct 15, 2016 |
PassingShot: We’ve all been inundated by the interview granted BBC by the president’s wife which revealed personal and political happenings within the household of the Buharis. In response to the interview, we’ve also heard the president remark that his wife belongs in his kitchen and other rooms in his house. Without mincing words, I make bold to say that the president’s wife has lost much of the respect she used to command by her act and has made a bad situation far worse. On the other hand, the revelation has made my love for the president to increase.
Prior to the election of March 2015, GMB, as he was known then, made unambiguous statement on several occasions that “there won’t be an Office of the First Lady” if he became president. Majority of Nigerians applauded the statement on the strength of what past First Ladies had caused the country. We know of First Ladies who practically ordered appointed ministers around. We saw a First Lady embarrass a sitting governor. We saw many First Ladies having their own multitude of staff. The past First Ladies used to have budget drawn out for their office even though the Constitution of Nigeria has no recognition for such. These are only a few of many anomalies that were done in the name of Office of the First Lady. So, when PMB made the statement then, he clearly wanted to depart from that culture of impunity and Nigerians loved him for it.
In the said interview, Aisha clearly expressed frustrations at not having undue influence on the man appointed by Nigerians to do a job. She obviously is not having enough say on how ministers, DGs and other top government officials are appointed and this has disappointment her a great deal. Just like the Lagos Assembly shamelessly revealed their frustration about PMB not consulting with Tinubu on appointments, Aisha thought it right to express similar frustration but in the worst possible manner.
Let's Examine Key Statements of Her Interview: 1. "The president does not know 45 out of 50, for example, of the people he appointed and I don't know them either, despite being his wife of 27 years."
This clearly shows Aisha’s disposition to have undue influence on appointments. If not, why does the president need to know those who work for him or the country? What is important is those people’s qualifications and ability to do the job. Why should the appointees be known to Aisha on the strength of being the president’s wife of 27 years? This statement by the president’s wife reveals a lot about why/how the past First Ladies and their husbands appointed incompetent political jobbers to positions.
2. "Some people are sitting down in their homes folding their arms only for them to be called to come and head an agency or a ministerial position."
If anything, this is a positive on the part of the president. This simply means “no one needs to lobby for an appointment under Buhari once they’re qualified to do the job”. Won’t any reasonable being love the man?
3. "He is yet to tell me but I have decided as his wife, that if things continue like this up to 2019, I will not go out and campaign again and ask any woman to vote like I did before. I will never do it again."
This is about the most ridiculous of all her statements! It smells arrogance and pompousness. Who makes who? Who is known in the political arena? It is because of Muhammadu Buhari that we got to know Aisha Buhari. It is Muhammadu Buhari that’s the politician and not Aisha Buhari. Buhari won the last election not because his Aisha was on the campaign train even though she might have swayed a few voters. In fact, report had it that PMB was reluctant to allow Aisha join the campaign train but for Tinubu’s intervention. So, it is overestimation of her contribution to her husband’s success at the polls to make this statement because she has no political structure or clout to wield such influence.
As I said earlier, PMB by this development has earned further respect from me and many like me. He has proved over and over that he cannot be dictated to whether you are a Tinubu, Obasanjo or even the person who many would have thought could be used to get him – Aisha his wife and mother of four of his children. PMB has once again proved to be a man of principle and high moral standards! This is the kind of leader Nigeria needs to get out of the mess bestowed on us by undue interference from those close to past presidents.
PMB’s “Aisha Belongs to My Kitchen” Comment As unnecessary as the response from the president might seem, one has to put himself in a position of a man, the president of the most populous black nation on earth, whose wife has become rebellious and a political foe (frenemy sort of) ready to crash the castle built over many years. I must even commend him for finding the strength to beam with laughter when answering question on his wife’s interview. The president’s comment at that time couldn’t have been better worded to a wife who behaved with arrogance and insubordination. To make it clear to the bigots and hypocrites, a wife’s primary place is in the kitchen and her husband’s home. Any and every other duty is secondary to that.
Yes, our wives are educated, work and participate in governance and Aisha Buhari’s case is no different as she’s known to have been educated by the same man she’s trying hard to destroy now. We all know Aisha had a beauty salon/spa and a few other businesses before PMB became president. PMB has appointed a few women into high position in his administration. We also know that his daughters are educated. Clearly, all these are a proof that the president is not someone who does not believe in women’s ability to be equal to that of men in every aspect of life. However, if a woman thinks she has a right to have undue and unwanted influence in a man’s job/life, there is nothing wrong in putting such women where they primarily belong - the kitchen and other rooms.
What Aisha did is capable of ruining her marriage and she will be the ultimate loser at the end of it. If that happens, all those urging her on will not be there to console her or offer any help. I could have asked her to ask PMB’s first wife (Safinatu of blessed memory) if she regretted accepting money from IBB who was holding her husband in a cell. Surely, she must have regretted her action one way or the other. Civil contribution is appreciated Oga be bold enough to come out and comment again when the reasons behind her public out cry begins to tell on this administration as we already witnessing. The helpless woman who knows that her husband is no longer in charge which is very evident, many who helped to bring this administration have spoken about the same issue that Aisha is crying out for unfortunately, we're here making analysis. |

faladeSM1132: http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/10/15/a-good-lady-in-the-presidential-villa/ Thank you Sir. You've said it all. It's only those hypocrites who claim they are supporting this government that see nothing wrong in the direction the administration is going, those that love pmb and his administration more than his wife. Many well meaning Nigerians have been voicing this out since that some cabals have hijacked this administration. Unfortunately, some hypocrites will insult and call them names now, it's Aisha his wife saying the same thing yet, the same acclaimed supporters are calling for her to be sent packing. Nigerians, are we ever going to get it right?? |
