PoliticsRe: Ogidi Youths Protest Against Sit-At-Home In Anambra by pacespot(m): 11:12am On Aug 11, 2021
The sit-at-home order should be a voluntary thing for people, but if IPOB is going about attacking people that come out to seek their daily bread, then it has lost the legitimacy of the people
RomanceRe: Marriage Phobia Killing Me Help by pacespot(m): 10:53am On Aug 11, 2021
If you have a phobia towards something, it might be actually saving you from something else more dangerous. We all have this natural inbuilt fail-safe alarm inside us that tends to alert us when something bad is about to happen, many choose to ignore it and they become a victim of circumstance that way. Though we should face our fear and take on a bigger challenge to propel ourself to a greater height. But does marriage equate to your journey as you dream of success in life? This and many more questions you should ask yourself.

If it is about procreating, there are many ways to go about it peacefully grin nowadays

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Ambassador To Indonesia Recalled Over Assault Of Diplomat by pacespot(m): 7:19am On Aug 11, 2021
This one just trying to speak English by force with a fake accent. If it was an ordinary Nigerian that was treated that way they wouldn't even border a bit.

But my question is why would a so called diplomat for Nigeria cry like a baby like that, no sense of self dignity at all, just shouting like a kid who lost his toy. Definitely he must have done something childish to deserve this. Asians don't send you if you are caught up with something they don't like, they will mess you up no minding your age or caliber. It is only Nigerians that pamper criminals calling them elderly statesmen and leaders, that is why these old men are making a fool out of them. In China, they still carry out capital punishment on corrupt officials till today.
PoliticsRe: Abidemi Rufai Reportedly Stole $350,000 From US Government - Court by pacespot(m): 7:07am On Aug 11, 2021

Foreign AffairsRe: WW3 Fears As China And Russia Join Forces For Massive War Games(Pix, Video) by pacespot(m): 12:29am On Aug 11, 2021
The current world scenario is the best time for developing and underdeveloped countries like Nigeria, but trust our evil, corrupt and self serving leaders not to see this as opportunity to develop their country. America is losing control of its global strongholds, China is gaining momentum, both of them lean towards underdeveloped countries like Africa as a sphere of influence but Nigeria being the most populous black nation in the world will rather choose to fight its citizens, the youth. In fact, if the youth know the kind of damage this country's leadership has done in terms of lost opportunity and misplacement of priority, they will start killing every old politician they see today. But coming to nairaland, you will see the same youth arguing and fighting over issues like ethnicity, celebrities, religion and economic class.

Accept this fact or remain backward for the rest of your life compared to your peers around the world in advanced countries, your number one enemy as a youth in this country is the current crop of old politicians who are holding this country by jugular but lack the resourcefulness and will to develop its potentials for the common benefits of all.

That is why I'm happy whenever I see anything bad happening to these old men. Very useless, greedy and exploitative human beings.
CrimeRe: Wife Leaves Husband To Live With Her Rapist While The Case Is Still In Court by pacespot(m): 5:53pm On Aug 10, 2021
Definitely the rape allegation was to blackmail the alleged rapist to marry her. She is sick and tired of that one called her husband. Seriously, women rule this world. The way the society swallows anything coming out of a woman these days without even subjecting it into a simple fact finding leaves many reasonable people like me bewildered.

PoliticsRe: Twitter Ban: ‘why Nigeria’s Foot-dragging On Dialogue With Micro Blogging Firm’ by pacespot(m): 1:37pm On Aug 10, 2021
FreeStuffsNG:
Twitter should go to CAC and register. Build physical office here, hire our teeming youths and pay tax. Nigeria has lost billions of dollars in unremited tax by Twitter that the microblogging site should have been paying all along but local businesses pick up Twitter's tax and pay huge social cost of Twitter including the consequences of Twitter yielding its platform for terrorists and vicious state actors killing our patriots and innocent citizens.

Anything outside these conditions is not in our nation's best interest. What's source for the goose is good for the gander.

Twitter should do the needful unless it wants to be an NGO non profit by continuing with the non-revenue generating VPN crew who just while away time on Twitter and don't pay for ads .

At the end, except Twitter is restored, Twitter will completely lose patronage from big pockets that pay billions for ads like banks, news media, premium MDAs etc . Their competitors like Facebook, nairaland etc are already smiling anyway. God bless Nigeria.
You can talk like this because your business does not need the service of Twitter, definitely you are of those benefitting from the quota system without having requisite under your belt to impact yourself with new innovations. While I want Twitter to yield to the FG demand to pay tax to the government coffer, but considering the attendant cost of denying those millions of creative Nigerians the opportunity to build something for themselves using the micro blogging, this is more like another brand of corruption being perpetrated on helpless Nigerians who try to help themselves despite the government by adopting new technologies but the government still constituting a roadblock on their path towards self reliance. All in all, the FG needs to look at the marginal benefits of banning Twitter compared to the costs, if the benefits outweigh the cost, definitely this ban is counterproductive on Nigeria. They might not see it so because the ban does not affect their business interests directly, their business is Nigeria and keeping the country as one, so they are protecting their own business while selfishly destroying millions of other businesses.

Has this ban actually stopped the secessionist agitators from using the Twitter platform? NO! So why continuing with it?
PoliticsRe: "Please Forgive Us" - Boko Haram Commanders Beg Nigerians (Pictures) by pacespot(m): 1:14pm On Aug 10, 2021
Laughable. Repentant terrorists indeed huh These people are playing on our emotions. Who asked for their pleas, they should direct their pleas to the graves of the people they've massacred and dismembered. Who is fooling who?

BusinessRe: Dangote May Forfeit Refinery Project To Nigerian by pacespot(m): 9:32am On Aug 10, 2021
Even before it got started, I hope there are no foreign parties to this trying to frustrate this refinery protect from attaining its fruition, because this refinery was touted as a bailout for Nigerian economy and West African subregion from adverse effects of COVID-19 and ensuing global uncertainties. Those foreign refineries which Nigeria and other West Africa countries are using might want to come to play as business competitors.

And this development does not look good on dangote business profile as someone who is capable of managing big projects like this without the government backup.

SportsRe: Saleh To Messi: You Are Greedy, Shedding Crocodile Tears by pacespot(m):
He might be crying not because he didn't want to leave but because he is going to miss the club. Do you know what it means to have invested the best 21 years of your career in a club as a superstar like Messi?

His cry might just be a farewell message to his Barcelona fans. Messi has done more than enough for Barcelona, so he deserves to try a new challenge or league if that is what makes him happy.
FamilyRe: Mother Or First Son, Who Is Entitled To The Late Father's Property by pacespot(m): 1:27am On Aug 10, 2021
This matter shouldn't have generated a fight between a mother and her son, so you want to chase your mother out of her husband house for another woman, your wife? There is something that the OP is not telling us huh If your mother had divorced your father before his death, that is another story, but this is not the case.

Whoever is the next of kin to the late "father or husband" should go and obtain a probate (with a will) or a letter of administration (without a will) to stake the administrative ownership to the house. But looking at this issue, each party has the right to challenge the probate issuance in the court.

The lady among them is part of the people they want to continue to detain. I heard how they inhumanly deny the lady access to turn over our clothes to new ones, she will have to watch her undies half-naked in front of the DSS officers as she was denied access to use even a rapper. It is like those randy DSS officers are not done with enjoying soft porn from this woman sad huh

TV/MoviesRe: Old Tweets Of JMK Trolling BBNaija, Wizkid, Laycon, Tacha, Erica by pacespot(m): 8:31am On Aug 09, 2021
Though those tweets are not a good PR for her, the extent to which Nigerians can monitor someone in this country is a call for concern about what you post online, even if you are not popular now and think nobody is seeing you, they will dig out what you have said many months or years later to counter you when you become popular. Nigerians will tell you when two superstars have unfollowed each other on Instagram, definitely they are constantly checking their Instagram followers tab to see who they follow and who they followed before that are no longer there. People really can monitor in this country.
