A Presidential aspirant, Fela Durotoye has called on Nigerians to donate towards the purchase of a N3.5 million nomination form to enable him contest in the presidential primary election of the Alliance for a New Nigeria (ANN).

The leadership expert and business coach took to his Twitter account on Wednesday, to urge Nigerians to donate at least N1000 each to his campaign to enable him purchase the nomination form and cover other campaign cost.

He posted, “I need you to donate at least N1000 or whatever you can to purchase a nomination form (N3.5M) & to cover the cost of team travel across the nation in preparation for the Party primaries on September 29th, 2018.

“I know it’s a sacrifice, but like I’ve always said you’re the only cabal I have and will ever need.”

The aspirant further published the financial report of his campaign so far to prove that he’s running a transparent campaign that is accountable to donors and Nigerians.

Durotoye was one of the 18 presidential aspirants who formed Presidential Aspirants Coming Together (PACT) coalition in July 2018 and resolved to get behind one consensus candidate to contest against President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election.

Last month he was elected the consensus candidate even though it led to the exit of a few members of the coalition who expressed reservations about the electoral process.

Olawepo urges electorate to vote out corrupt politician

A presidential aspirant under the platform of Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has charged the electorate to vote out political parties and corrupt leaders who have failed in delivering on their campaign promises.
Insisting that Nigerian should take back their country by taking advantage of the 2019 general elections, he said the electorate should beware of corrupt politicians who are now regrouping to buy their conscience.

Speaking yesterday in Lagos, he said there was the need for Nigerians to avoid politicians who do not have the interest of the country at heart, but are only interested in amassing public wealth through corruption to buy votes for their re-election.

According to him, although the All Progressives Congress (APC) has failed, members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who were defeated in 2015, could not present themselves as credible alternatives soon after.

He, therefore, urged Nigerians to de-market corrupt politicians and vote buyers by voting them out, noting: “The only reason why Nigerians vote for APC or PDP is gratification, because they neither have electoral value nor credible registered members, but depend largely on rented crowds.”

lawepo-Hashim stated that ANN was targeting 14 million first time voters, who could not be bought with money or gifts, but are determined to make a difference next year.

INEC must overhaul our party system regulations in order to shamble the ambition of corrupt politicians. Lets impose stringent conditions on our political offices. e.g

1) Members must run an NGO that provides humanitarian services to his constituent for 5yrs (Political NYSC) before dreaming of contesting for any political office.
2) Members must be an embodiment and active member of a political party for 5yrs before having right to contest for political post.
3) Members must declare their assetts and get certified by EFCC to ensure that they have acquired their wealth through record of hard work with thorough background check.

Conditions like these 3 mentioned will sting away fake and rogue individuals from raising their head up during political transitions, but on the contrary pave way for those who sincerely desire to work for the progress of their constituent and the nation when they hold political offices.

This news must be political motivated in an attempt to relegate the image of the government.. A Yoruba adage says in the day elephant will die, various knifes will be displayed. The Oyo State Government has marked part of the building housing Fresh FM Ibadan, a private radio station owned by popular Juju musician, Mr. Yinka Ayefele, for demolition, DAILY POST reports.

The building, christened “Music House”, was marked for demolition because some part of it were not approved.

The demolition notice, DAILY POST gathered on Wednesday, was pasted on the structure located along Ibadan-Lagos expressway on the order of the Oyo State Government.

The notice, according to David Ajiboye, its Director of Corporate Affairs and Promotions, gave the owner of the building three days to vacate the building and remove the structure or risk its removal by the government.

The deadline, it was learnt expires today, Wednesday, 15th August, 2018.

Ajiboye, who confirmed the development on his Facebook page on Tuesday, added that the demolition notice was issued because, “The staff canteen in the premises was not approved”.


The post read further, “The spiral staircase was not in the approved plan. The mast was not in the approved plan.

“The fence was not in the approved plan.

“And therefore the entire N800 million edifice where almost 150 people make their daily bread have to go down. You are all invited to the demolition show at the Music House tomorrow”.

A community was shocked when officials swung into action to stop a marriage ceremony of a 15-year-old girl.

The wedding which was about to hold yesterday in Mumbwa district, Zambia, was stopped when World Vision officials and various stakeholders stormed the venue. 

According to world vision they say the named girl was too young for marriage adding that they are going to sponsor the girl to school.

World Vision Zambia is on crusade to protect young girls from early marriages in the country.

However the man who was scheduled to marry a the teenage girl complained that the organisation has put him in depression after stopping their marriage ceremony.

The 26 Year old said it was unfair for the organisation to treat him in such a way of humiliating him in public and bringing the police along as if he was a criminal.

The marriage ceremony has since been cancelled.

It is an act of betrayal on the citizens part to see their man defecting to opposition party shortly after winning election. Nigerians are oftenly used like zombies by our unfaithful senators. Its not yet confirmed but we are suspecting pregnancy. I am 28yrs of age and my girl is 22years. We started dating not too long. We made love sometime last month and she missed her perioed. We used strip and it shows she is pregnant. We will go for a proper test today to confirm. Now here are the issues disturbing me:

A: She wants abortion but I don't want that: she's a student, hence keeping it will be complicated for her.

B: I have been thinking of ways to convince her but she's adamant, abortion is the best for her. Please more ideas for me on how to convince her. And if I successfully convince her to keep the pregnancy, how do we go about this?

C: Both of us come from a very strick family.
