flokii:What about destroyers? Those who destroy the small buildings builders build If omonile keeps destroying your building, you either fight to claim it or buy land somewhere else. I think those who chastise reapers ignore the hardwork migrants do out there and how they have been saving people back home. Let japa people stop sending money home and you will see the result. Or haven't reapers sent money back home to builders who remained in Nigeria only for those ones to spend the money lavishly? There is no place like home but I would be foolish to tell people with families to stay home with hope. If they can be appreciated somewhere else, let them go and work there. I hope you know the immigrant has to work 2x the local to prove himself so if you have not walked the journey, keep putting them into boxes. Life is not always x and y. Even our President claims to have gone abroad to reap where he did not sow and now he is building renewed hope ![]() when you are old enough, you will make decisions as an adult to live life not to satisfy internet user's opiniom |
Smithkafors:I tell you. People wey carry distant 3rd place na our problem now. What am I not understanding here ![]() |
People should use this time to ask, are you living at all If US suspends Facebook, can you live normally? |
I can confidently say this is the effect of social media. When we were fantasizing too much back then, NEPA will take light to bring us back to normal. No much generators like you have today and it was rare to see devices with 4+ hrs power. Social media is good but it can make you think your life is not as good as what you are seeing outside. We were able to bring our minds back to our environment. Now, it's just the press of a button and your avatar is playing in Japan. |
hotwax:I like this story, tell us more ![]() |
There is nothing they are saying that they can't hear with silence. This one will even allow those lazy Senators sleep peacefully in the dark, make dem no de shine light on their eyes. With the light, they could not use electronic voting, so let them keep shouting Aye, nay with their mouths. They already know how to off the Mic now |
Gajagojo:I agree with you. Aba is dirty, I think we just have keyboard champions out there. I went there and it was like a market place. Other cities still try to arrange their capitals and major cities, but for Aba, mbannu! |
I am not happy with the government but I know people are doing arbitrary price increases. It is part of why Emefiele said Abokifx should come out and fight because someone will just sit down behind computer and be declaring price. Today we can see it is not Abokifx it is Nigerians. Nigerians have short term thinking of getting rich and making profit without remembering they are also part of the market. The seller will spend money too. What goes around, comes around. Round tripping till you trip. Foolishness. Let's keep increasing prices until we join Zimbabwe chat group |
Make a name for yourself and let people introduce you, including your aliases. Oyinbo just came to destroy our wats. We used to have descriptive names, which can be traced to your family and we love names. Now they made us reduce it to 3-4 names so we can start saying, my names are, my name is. OP, some people only have 1 name, no last name. My name |
Teenaira:You are fixated on revolution than what I said caused them. Read about the protest 40 years ago here https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1984/01/04/tunisians-riot-over-bread-price-rise/a5aa4a75-9651-4a30-919e-9c297b3fdb38/ There is always cause and effect. Anyone who steals is a thief, whether they are hungry or not but in real life, I have to distinguish between what is the ideal and what is the idea. Theory is not always possible. Sociologists study human social behaviour to tell us what people will do when something happens. I can preach morality by telling people to stop stealing but what are the leaders doing? Are they stealing or thinking about those lives they are affecting when they make life unbearable for everyone? Are they thinking when they steal the future of the country through rigging before election, bad policies after elections and telling us to pray when they are seeing what is going wrong? I have to wake up, I pray you and I are not affected by unfortunate people but I can only pray. In the real world, people will act like the animals you condition them to be. If they are uneducated and unemployed, your guess is as good as mine. The environment they find themselves in is making them act like they are. That is why we have government in place, to provide basic social amenities and infrastructure. To protect lives and property. To preserve people's dignity. So who has the job to do here? |
Kids these days are on the comments section. Parents cannot monitor them because they can pretend to be an angel in real world and a tout online. The streets can't raise up a child. The internet is the streets. Home training will show even online. |
Man u inspired outfit. The red devil is a liar |
lookingfly:I hear you but I think it is a matter of accents. When we are being assessed, there is a way we will behave. I think this is what Indians do. Someone has once told me that we should be grateful for IELTS, or else the number of Indians wey for don japa for plenty pass this one. IELTS is a barrier to many of them because of this same thing you just said. Indians are very competitive and they will do everything to achieve the result if the exam is in front of them. |
anyilalaz:Algeria and Tunisian protests started because of bread. These countries subsidize the cost of bread because they know it's for daily survival and once man can eat, you can still control them. What makes me laugh about the foolishness of the defenders is that they are engaging the wrong people. Hungry people are not using their brains when stealing. They are reduced to animal behaviour. Solve their food problems instead of media propaganda. |
Back-up power in APC. Alternative Power Charger. https://www.nairaland.com/4248678/yemi-osinbajo-spotted-power-bank One old saying says that look at people's actions more than their words. APC!!! Action A PC!!! power A Pee Ceeeee!!!! Charging Keep renewing hope It's charging

blancsn1:I see where you want to go. I won't feed you further. Thanking you for your monologue. |
Exousiang01:It is his mama. https://statehouse.gov.ng/press-releases/president-tinubu-celebrates-alhaja-lateefat-gbajabiamila-at-94/ https://officeofthespeaker.ng/news/485 |
crossfm:I condemned PDP then but now I see that APC is beyond condemnation. They took us from a country where people can protest with dignity to a country where people are protesting with indignity. Indignity is when you don't care anymore even if you die because of food. You start behaving like baboons in the zoo. Have you seen how baboons behave? I cry when I see this. It is easy for me to type here, hungry people cannot even think well to start using logic to act right. Nigerians are now poor and wicked because they have been thoroughly impoverished by APC. It is obvious that they have no plan as a party. Unfortunately, PDP has slept a long time ago. |
immortalcrown:People are not ashamed that a government lied to us in public. A President went to commission a refinery that is yet to work. Now they are putting Nigeria's calls on voicemail. The government became the spokesperson for a private refinery, telling us that Dangote will solve Nigerias problem. Government that has its own refinery in 3 cities. There is something fishy about Dangote refinery they don't want to tell us yet because Obasanjo sold our refineries to him, Yar Adua canceled it, now Buhari commissioned another one in Lagos. Between then and now, Nigeria has 3 refineries that cannot produce. Now the government is backing Dangote refinery when it has its own. If you were Dangote, will you want competition from state refinery ![]() I think we have a big problem with being blind for partisanship sake. People have their time and I'm happy you are replying them. Because propagandists know how to deflect from the issue at hand. How is Obi my main problem now? Is he the one who is the GCFR? Propagandists know how to distract us with non issues when they are asked to give account for their performance. |
These ones just desperately want attention. I am not fooled by politicians, that includes Obi but what I hate is double standards. They are only crying for attention and Obi should ignore him. If this guy cannot name ALL POLITICIANS that have paid him, he should just keep quiet. |
If population was a problem, I laugh in Chinese |

bolabadmus38:I think his problem was that he didn't have the chance to correct that error. Like playing AFCON 2013 or something else that people could use to forgive him a bit. He did that qt the end of his career so that will be the last thing people remember. People thought he was smiling but that's his own expression of shock. Not everyone will understand. Okocha did that a lot, he smiled sheepishly not because it is funny, it is just shock. |
HellVictorinho6:That's because You were not in the pictures that put together the memories. She was there. Why do you think people kept photo albums in the past? If you tear that memory, you are inviting trouble you cannot manage. Just let her be. Dey your dey make she dey her dey ![]() |
I do not bother with these kind of things anymore because our political parties lack principles and that is what you see the politicians do. APC has shown us what it's like before they came in and when they handed the baton to each other. When I listen to them, they talk about a bad economy that their party managed in power. I have no respect for them because they cannot say the truth. What about PDP? That party used to claim they were the biggest party in Africa but after losing elections in 2015, the true color came out. They did not know how to recover and play opposition. They kept going down. It is a good thing they lost because it gave them the chance to weed pretenders who went to APC. But with the way they handled Wike and G5, they have no principles. You can't say this is what APC or PDP stands for. Today, Abaribe will go to APC. Even Saraki jumped from PDP to APC as Senator. All of them don't have my respect because they are the same. Look at how Gbenga Daniels, 2 time governor under PDP is now an APC Senator. If Tinubu decides to form Seyi party nothing will surprise me. People without principles lack ideology. That is why I smh when I see people fighting over them instead of looking at their actions. Let the party have small conflict and you'll see what is the real intention behind its existence. It's difficult to find principled people in Nigeria who have discipline and integrity. Amosun was an APC governor campaigning for his annointed candidate in public because he had a disagreement with his party. From East to West, North to South, they are all the same. Keep watching NNPP in Kano and LP. |
Did you listen to Mukina2 while she was a mod? If you only listen to yourself, you will run Nairaland by yourself. Honestly, I think you need to go for training, mentorship and counselling. That's my advice to you. |
What are men doing to preserve the family system? We can see the role family plays in protecting society. Go the woke way and start producing bastards in society. A man will go through rituals before to marry a woman, today it's baby mama and slay girls. There is demand and supply. If old men in the past turned University girls to prostitutes, what about their daughters? It takes 2 to play and everyone has a role in it. I can't just blame women or men. People used to look at your family name, now people are behaving like touts without families online and offline. |
Remove religion and Nigerian politicians are in hot soup. They have no idea how religion is saving them but more people are opening their eyes now. They can think with their heads |
When you grow older, you will understand the role those items are playing in keeping her stable today. You don't know that good old memories of yesterday can keep man surviving It is the moments behind the objects that she is keeping, not the objects themselves. |
anonymous1759:Was he not really sick? Do you know all the evil done under his name to fake his sickness? Was it not his minister who came to the press frustrated with who exactly is giving them orders? Do you know how dangerous it is to lie to Nigerians about the president's health? Cabals we did not elect will be directing Nigeria's affairs. I do not think asking for truth was ever Nigerians' fault. To add insult to injury, they brought his dead body in the dark and put off the lights. Who was afraid of judgment? I thought Nigerian politicians could have learned from Yar Adua but they never learn. Yar Adua was not a saint because we remember Ibori's influence back then, which is what made UK act to sentence him when he missed road. What made Yar adua missed was that he promised electoral reforms after the rigged elections that brought him in through Obasanjo, he immediately reduced fuel price to 65 and he was a simple man. All these things Tinubu is allowing his ministers do, Adenike Grange did not do 1/100th of it, she was sacked and that sent a signal to all his ministers. I cannot forget how Aondoaka was haughty when he spoke to Nigerians or how the first family was too then. Nairaland was here then so we cannot forget quickly. If you want to be a leader, you can't escape judgement because your decisions and indecision affect people's lives so they must talk. I would have given it to Obasanjo but I don't like a leader who prefers do or die, 3rd term and lacks good succession planning. Part of why we are here was Obasanjo forcing a sick man on us even when the press raised the alarm. This is why we need a critical press because they are the people's voice. Newspapers started counting the days Yar Adua was AWOL and tongues started wagging. It will be stoopeeed to allow propagandists control media. These people don't care about the nation and tomorrow. The same Obasanjo appointed Aborishade and FFK to Aviation ministry when planes were crashing and wasting lives. Yar Adua solved one problem and caused another. The militancy in the Niger delta was him that forgave them but started another racket. He ordered Yusuf to be killed and since then, Boko Haram has become a monster. What was the plan? |
We break this policy process into five stages: (1) agenda setting, (2) formulation, (3) adoption, (4) implementation and administration, and (5) evaluation. Naturally, reality is more complex: stages overlap, do not necessarily follow in this orderThis is expected when you implement policy. There is nothing shocking, they already knew before they passed the policy. |
I've learned not to judge from 1 side alone. Until I hear from the man, I will hate him based on this account. If I hear the man's side, I may hate the lady. Folks, that is the wisdom of life. Don't fall victim to a single story. |
