omosexy1:Allow the Arrow to deceive herself na. |
I can't believe I have never posted here before! The Kyuubi knows he doesn't need to step in for this battle, Madara isn't totally in control of the Bijuus and the Hachibi and Masters (Gai and Kakashi) are running rampage on the rest of the Jins. The last chapter was kinda disappointing though, I expect more whoop ass than that. Hey what do you think of the Naruto rip off BLEACH? Obviously I detest the anime, it's too glossy and bubblegum. The whole Espada hype, the Xcution hype and nobody, mark that, NOBODY (save the General Commander's left hand) dies! What freaking gives! and now they come back looking like magazine covers! Argh, the thing is just not it abeg! |
"Bored to death" and, One Word - HOUSE. Nuff said! |
okeymadu:Erm, I don't think it was a world bank loan because it is from the same parcel of money the civil aviation industry was promised a bailout. Till today I don't think even the aviation industry has been given the funds promised to them. If I remember correctly those funds were supposed to be sourced from the excess crude dollar account not a loan, guess it went straight into electioneering. It's not nolly-wood that GEJ deceived, a lot of these posters here criticizing one of Nigeria's biggest and best functioning industries also fell for the 'no shoes' trick. Its now that he has fumbled that people will start talking from the other side of there months. Akproko people! |
obasy09:I for one totally agree with this suggestion. Let an NL contributor (I recommend Oxy, Gbawe or any other more recognized contributor) be chosen and given the mandate to set up a bank account where we can all pay in an initial fee of, lets say, N1000 as a start up fund solely for the purpose. Those who pay will become recognized as ambassadors and from them a board will be chosen that can carry out these desires we keep expressing but do nothing about. We do not need to be the richest or most influential group there is, lets just try the much we can do and see if it works. This is only if we truly are patriots we all love to profess we are. |
I PRAY the poster is correct and GEJ had a grand scheme all along. I mean only a total and unequivocal dunce can do what he did intentionally. I hope to Christ we were all wrong about the man and he is the chess player I once tot him to be b4 he became substantive president. |
23 and 18 isn't that bad. the guy doesn't seem that old.
|
la furia:Hehehe, NL for real. |
I just checked the website of one of the mentioned paper companies and guess what, It looks like a paper company. http://www.delmarpetroleum.com. This is hurriedly crafted site that no respectable eatery would be caught dead with, there is more than the smell of a rat here my friends. This however does not absolve the subsidized importers, it only implicates the govt further. |
what about the so called green refinery? wat about the ultimatum GEJ gave Allison Madueke to have the refineries working? GEJ should just bow out |
ekwah:you nailed it. 1000%. Oh yeah, I can't really say there's anyone I'm mad at save the govt (FUCKH the govt, I hope GEJ dies). I pray I don't have to get mad at anyone soon |
thoth:Erm, how silly are you. Apart from religion what do ALL Islamist terrorist groups have in common if not hatred for the imagined 'WEST'? Yes the probability is very high that any strangely dressed stranger offering money to recruits and preaching anti-west doctrines is a terrorist you unwashed myopic pant. monkeyleg:Abeg address the bros well well. No be fight, even if na fight them no fit touch am so make the guy mellow small. Everybody don know say GEJ na waste, na only the bros carry the matter for head. |
Ichaka04:(Sitting up), Abi oh. the guy should grab some balls and do the right thing by our great institution. |
omo alaro:TRUTH! Sanusi said "> Finally: removing subsidy is not a silver bullet that solves our economic problems. And there is a huge trust deficit that government has to address. Government needs to investigate subsidy payments and punish any violations of extant guidelines. It needs to cut on unnecessary and waste ful expenditure. It needs to fight corruption and show seriousness in that. It needs to deliver on capital projects, power and infrastructure including irrigation, farm-level storage and agri-processing. These are all valid issues that are to be taken IN ADDITION to and not in place of subsidy removal." TRUTH!! surugede:TRUTH!!! Everybody agrees that the subsidy is wrong yet the question remains; who have profited the most from it? Is it not still politicians? If they remove subsidy is it not the same politicians who'll handle the monies gotten? Also what the heck has anybody done about the whooping 65bpd which have been stolen by the NNPC for almost a decade now? Why isn't this an issue. If GEJ tackles corruption and starts to seize the wealth of these thieves, it'll be so easy to fund any project to any phase. In fact only then would he have gained the legitimacy to remove subsidy. |
kizito96:You don't know the half of it. Do you know that Nigeria's Police Force has only ONE forensic detective, one CSP Benedict Agbo or something? This guy tried to create an elite and thoroughly polished CSI department, asking for 20 start up trainee candidates and when the list came from Abuja the names had been bloated to 200!!! When he interviewed a third of them he found they could hardly hold a conversation, much less look under a microscope! That's the truth! When Govs, senators, etc make their lists what do you think it'll mean for this recruitment galore? knowledge4:GBAM!!! |
I don't know about you guys but I've already sent a letter to my senator for Jonathan's impeachment. I can't do much on my own but the little I can I will. This train wreck has to stop. Nigeria's mounting external dept and missing reserves did not miraculously occur, they were products of a very very skewed and degenerate election buy-out plan. Now that it has begun to tell on our economy this fool of a President needs a new money source, NOT TO BETTER THE ECONOMY, BUT TO RATHER MAINTAIN THE EQUILIBRIUM. Even if they plan to use the money for good, with the same caliber of people in govt as there has always been why would the money not get pilfered? I mean when things where not to hard they stole with gusto, zest and monkey agility, how in the world would any right thinking individual then think they won't steal when things have worsened overnight, I'm off to Ghana. |
hero - Achebe, Remi Babalola, Fashola, NYSC members in the north ZERO - GEJ, Dame, Shekarau, Abati, Siasia, Eguavon, Odemwingie, (chai! zeroes plenty sha.) |
Q - "Should President Jonathan resign?" A - "Yes." Truth - Will President Jonathan ever resign or 'get things right?' Bitter Truth - "No." |
not just soldiers, there were military school kids on that bus. Seven of them in fact, apparently they were coming from a debate in Lagos. Its so pathetic and tragic. God rest them |
drstan:True talk. My friend's bro made an inverter for their house 3 years ago that they use till this day, he was in 100L engineering in Bauchi then. Today, homeboy's got American Visa and left some days ago. If we no recognize the brains we have here, they are as good as nothing. kingsrod:Abi oh. The guy just dey jealous beauty and the brains. |
Nairaland again! People can never on topic! What the jumping doughnut has any of these arguments got to do with Yerima's claim. As NASS don reject the idea everybody go enter una holes for ground abegi! |
This is not worth a wasted word. Let them try it first, fuckenn bumbling fools. |
careytommy: Present!macmoyor:allow the malu! make him go surf high tension wire abeg! ![]() |

Just one example, abeg, make she find her own level. Na till person start dey yab her hair extension before she go park well! |
I believe the efficacy of prayers and I think the poster has a point. We ought to back the prayers up with works too, but doesn't mean the prayers go to waste. I mean, who can authoritatively say they know exactly how God works. Lets do our bit fully; works and prayers! Thanks Poster. |
This news is false. There is no corroborating news link. modernghana should have more decorum and it should never have made the front page. |
Ohaneze1:lol, Igbo wannabe. The truth is Achebe and Soyinka have gone to great lengths to put Nigeria on the world map, and in particular Soyinka has done muc to put Nigeria on the right track. They are both winners in my book. As far as popularity goes, Mode 9 remains my most influential. Screw Forbes! Screw Tribe! |
Personally I would make some changes I would remove Femi and replace him with Fela (his father) Roger Milla (Cameroonian Football legend) Kofi Annan (Fr Gen Sec to the UN) Frankie Federick (Namibian Sprinter and Olympic medallist) Charlize Theron (South African and Oscar winning Actress) Francios Pinaar (South African Rugby captain that won the world cup) Dikembe Matumbo (Former NBA star) George Weah (Liberian and former world footballer of the year) Iman Bowie (Ethiopian Super model) by baby boy. I totally agree on Weah, Kofi, Iman and Pinaar. Charlize Theron is as South African as Nas is Yoruba. I don't care how much they shout they are Africans, they are African-Americans. I would add also, Pieters DeVilliers (Spring Bokke's former coach). Ohaneze1:Erm, I'm Igbo, I studied Literature in English and I can boast of a moderate understanding of world politics yet stil I think Achebe is a great novelist, among my ALL-TIME top three, but Soyinka is a fantastic poet, playwright and novelist. Achebe also has poetry but no where as good as Soyinka's. I think Soyinka won the nobel cos he had such an arsenal, I mean Achebe's writing is legendary but it broke no frontiers, compared to like Gabriel Gircia Marquez who introduced magic realism as a style. And PLEASE don't you dare call up that overblown Adichie when talking about classic writers, she is just a toast of the western media, even her contemporary Helon Habila, outclasses her by far. Compare her to that conundrum Diane Evans! |
