Now you my dear.I wish I could just hug you. You have cried too much but its gonna be okay. Be strong cz it will be with time
Cherish all the memories you had together. Forget the doomsayers.I feel sad she went to that thread but she was low and I understand.
Funny enough she was still uplifting herself with songs.I love that.

You want to know what you can do to ease the pain and make her live in our hearts forever?
Put her songs from nl and poems into a lil book and give it some nice title. It can even be a diary . Let her journey of pain inspire others.
There are many in her condition Id and many to come. They need to read what she went through, how she fought. And how she lost the battle.
I read a place where she talked about wanting to start a blog and tell her story.Well that is still possible you know, her family can start a foundation in her memory, collect funds for cases similar to hers and keep her blog alive.
That way her dream and vision will still impact many.

Be strong ,it ill be well.

Pendo my prayers were not answered o and i know i prayed hard, why did jesus take her even when she didn't want to go na?his taking her only has left us heartbroken,I hate to hear she died for the best, that's not true,it really hurts.
My dear take heart.I think your posts are making me shed tears the most.I can literally feel ur pain through the screen. I read ur posts and how you all kept each other going and it is okay to feel the way you are feeling.

Death is painful,we all have lost one person I can tell u cocoa I almost went insane after losing my bro.Nothing not even scriptures make sense at that moment.

God my dear, does everything with a purpose. That is one statement we hate to hear during such moments. Its easy to get angry at God by the way but always remember Job.

Perx's death teaches us that human beings are weak. All our efforts can never surpass God's will. People prayed and contributed but she still died. sad
Not fair, but who are we to question? Who understood perx better than her creator?Who just who knows what communication took place between her and God?
I once told somebody that at times God wants to take somebody with Him but we hold them back with prayers like some guy in the bible who was given extra 30 years after much pleadings and prayers. But those extra 30 yrs were the worst of his life.

There is there's what we call the Perfect will and the Permissive will of God.
I guess God's perfect will was to give Perx rest.
His permissive will would have been to prolong her life. But in many cases, He would not have shown himself mighty because it wasnt His perfect plan for her.
That is all I can comfort myself with.

Cocoa it hurts like crazy but give thanks to God for the time he allowed you to spend with her.
Time heals wounds.

She fought n fought, yet she waz defeted by death!
Wat a courageious being.
No bdy has power over death.
She has gone to rest.
Rest frm all her pains n tears.
May her gentle soul continue to rest in peace. Amen.

To all her friends, family n well wishers, i pray God giv us d strenght to bear diz lost.
No dear she was not defeated by death. becz She will resurrect with Christ. Death was defeated when JC resurrected and the good word tells us that those who are in christ do not die but sleep. Perx is sleeping in the lord's bosom.
I saw a book by her side written Woman thou art losed and a bible in most of her photos.
Her strength was coming from God and God saw it fit to free her from physical pain and give her everlasting peace and rest.

I think we that were left behind should weep for ourselves because Perx work is done. She is a true example of a fighter cz that pain was enough to kill a weak person.

I never knew this girl but something about her death broke my heart. I was sure she was going to make it and I admired her strength and courage.
But I guess we cannot fight God's plans. We cannot question Him either.
I hate to post this on the suicide thread cz that is not where she is now. I cant find a suitable place either. So here I am.

Perx case gave me strength to also keep praying for a friend who is battling brain tumour. Yesterday the doc gave him 4 weeks to live and asked the wife to take him home for the final lap.
I read about Perx's lost battle and  broke. Last time I read her thread she was shocked by the death of her bedmate. She promised to take more pics and made fun of the 'cage' she was put in to stop her from falling' I could only imagine the pain and the best I could do then was pray.

It's okay to accept God's will. I am not sure if my friend will make it, but I am telling myself that perx fought hard and she had friends to urge her on.
I guess when everything else fails, friends and comforting words keep one going.I wanna do that to my friend. I have realised how important it is after Perx's death.

This song is to all her friends here on nl (ID,Ivy,Freecocoa,Mac etc) and family who are mourning. Take comfort in the knowledge that she held on to God till she breathed her last.
You nlanders God bless you for standing with her.

A comforting song by Don Moen/If you could see me now:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QICc9bCRbTM

My prayers have all been answered,I have finally arrived
The healing that had been there, has now been realised
No one's in a hurry, there's no schedule to keep,
We are all enjoying Jesus,Just sitting at his feet,

If you could see me now, I am walking streets of gold
You could see me now am standing tall and Bold.
you could see me now you'd know I 've seen His face
You could see me now you'd know the pain is erased.
You wouldn't want me to ever leave this place

If you could only see me now.

My light and temporary trials have worked out for my good
To know it brought Him glory when I am misunderstood
Though we've had our sorrows they can never compare,'
What Jesus has in store for us no language can share

You could see me now ,I am walking streets of gold
You could see me now I am standing strong and bold,
You could see me now you'd know I hv seen His face
You could see me now, you'd know the pain is erased,

You wouldnt want me to ever live this perfect place.
If you could only see me now.

If you got a comforting word, poem or song to encourage those who stood with her and family feel free.
rip angel.

Oh  lord. I was looking for words to comfort you girls who gave meaning to her final days online and this one song popped into my mind. I last sang it 7 years ago!
Take heart. Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof. Her death is not in vain dears. Shes was a fighter.
Precious in the eyes of the lord is the death of his saints. Remove the pic of her lying sick with bandages from ur mind and see her smiling and glowing.Isnt that lovely?
Take heart.

If you could see me now,You'd know the pain's disappeared,

If only you could see me now.

She wouldn't trade what she has now with what she had on earth,No way. She's in a better place sorrounded by angels.

Gosh.
This girl put up a real fight. I do not even think I would have survived and fought as she fought.
Frecococa,ID,Mac,Ivy, and all those who encouraged her in one way or another, you people made her days less painfully by communicating with her.
You made her laugh and hope. Probably the reason she kept going on. Her poems, songs, thoughts are heartbreaking.I feel shattered as I read through
Take heart girls. You did everything you could have done for her during her last days.God just wanted to give her peace and rest.

pic her singing this

'If you could see me now, I am walking streets of gold,If you could see me now,am walking strong and free,If you could see me now, you'd know I 've been relieved ,
If you could see me now you' d now The pain has disappeared. IF ONLY YOU COULD SEE ME NOW.
Amen.

She shall be missed on earth but I know the girl is shining, smiling and singing her heart out with the angles and if given a chance she wouldn't want to trade her place in heaven with what she had on earth.

Take heart Ivy,cocoa etc .I see ur completley shattered.

sleep well girl

Killz asked me how would I feel if Mr. Chima got a doll and I responded nothing.  He went on describing how the doll can bend backwards and forwards without breaking a bone.  He illustrated that I would listen to the moaning and groaning.

He then asked me how would I feel afterward, I responded nothing.  He called me a liar.  grin

How would you react if your man bought a doll and did the above?  grin lipsrsealed
*coughs and spits * Isn't that enough ground for divorce? assuming we are married? But hey! you know what chima?  I strongly believe this thing will be bought by married men! Follow its statistics and prove me wrong.
Where they hide it will be the prob. Picture this scenario now. Assuming it uses battery and we are in Africa.

So this Mr.C is busy on it and just when hes about to get to heaven the battery goes flat. Let's say there's a power blackout. It may be good luck  to those with generators but just imagine putting the generator on cz ur trying to charge this thing!! grin grin grin angry

Then try and imagine the sound it makes when at  the heat of the moment, it starts going low. Have you ever heard a tired christmas card?? And you know some men shocked shocked? lol I doubt this poor thing can survive the stress. They need to make one fit for the African man! A hard one. Not barbie.

Ok what about washing? so a man releases his stuff inside it  then what? he carries the silly thing to the bathroom for a bath? grin grin
Nope Pendo it was designed for men who don't want to get emotional with women, but want sex and not from ashis   grin Look on the bright side na  grin
my dear lemmie burst your bubble,
Men hate getting emotional with women over trivial matters.
But when it comes to making love,They want to smell the woman, feel the real woman and hear her real moan not just a mechanised one.
And hey! there exists such women and it takes a man with balls to find her.
This thing cant even talk back during sex! Its designed for those lazy to sweat. It makes sex a one man show cz it only responds to the man but can never initiate.
Real Men  prefer women who can also take a lead, initiate and think.

The brighter side is this. The cost of this thing is higher than what the average guy may choose to spend on an average real girl over a certain time period.
I can only do a proper comparison if I knew the life span of this dummy.

That doll has been debated here.
My big question is 'who wants to make love to a dummy? Something without a life that doesn't talk back to you?
You know it's similar to making love to a corpse,cz it's mechanical.
Men complain when women fake heavenly feeling. Now this one is worse cz everything from sounds is fake.
Its a plastic living dead dummy, with fake human touch designed for men who lack the balls to get a real woman.

Eligible def.

1. Qualified or entitled to be chosen: Pass
2. Desirable and worthy of choice, especially for marriage: Well not to everybody as this is where principles and preferances come in.

There's stiff competition, so its better to always bring more to the table and not just fame /wealth if you want peace.
RomanceRe: Nigeria Most Eligible Bachelor - Jide Adenuga by pendo89(f): 11:22am On Mar 03, 2012
If I understand the meaning of the word eligible then I would say it's  matter of personal principles.
He sure looks handsome, neat and smart.Everything a outwardly that girl would love to see in a man.
Add fame and wealth to that and you have a semi-god.

BUT is he desirable as a partner? What other humanly attributes does he posess to make him a worthy partner?
Cz If hes got nothing else except what I see up there then well that's it.
