I think its because they love praising themselves and talking big
ok intellect is a quality to be admired and the smart know that. Problem comes when they assume that alone is romantic. They fail to work out the other areas of a relationship and end up becoming sagonerds.
The smart in class need to be street smart as well to be called romantic.

Its funny cz yesterday while shopping I heard two men talking and I found myself asking ,why men are soo boring in their conversations? I could die listening.
They have short sentenses they don't put commas only fullstops in their talks,conversations lack juices and spices and can go 3 min without talking to each other just walking,thinking or staring. Women on the other hand can write a novel out of a dress in 5 minutes!

Times have changed and so have people but that doesnt ,mean we rubbish an institution as respectable as Marriage.Yeah it sucks we may say plus there's no guarantee that it will last but truth be told,there are happily married people on earth and I prefer being the optimist.
What do people mean by bail out?? test drives and stuff. I am not a prefect of morality but we are talking about an institution that has been in existence since time immemorial and will continue to be.Some have made it while others have failed at it. But nothing is worse enough to dilute it because there is evidence of great marriages around us.

Fact of the matter is,we have faults and weaknesses and there's no such thing as the perfect partner in a perfect relationship.
Its obvious that two people living together will find faults in each other and when it becomes unbearable one will bail out.
Then what? you go look for the next partner and repeat the cycle again?dont you realise you are growing old and wasting your time and resources because with each cohabitation you invest financially and emotionally. You keep giving a piece of yourself to each partner you cohabit with and it sucks when it goes down the drain since you had high hopes of it leading into marriage.

What makes marriage an honourable/respectable institution is the ability to bear each others faults regardless,forgiving and continue living with the same person.Its a test of endurance and tolerance and believe it or not where theres unity even God himself commands a blessing.
Cohabitation to me is for unstable people but those who go for marriage after dating are mature and men enough. They have no fears or doubts because they go in ready to deal with their partners faults and forgiving not bailing like teens.

Its a free world yeah but if your reason for cohabiting is to find out if you are compatible then I will say you are lost for sure.

1.Cohabitation is no guarantee for happy marriage
2.Refusing to cohabit is no gurantee either
3.If you are not ready to forgive,overlook faults,or if you are a coward do not marry but cohabit
4.If you respect the lady's parents and family and her honour as well then do the honourable thing of making her wife not some test car.
