The law still stand but for the economic hardship the residents are facing, the execution of such law should be suspended until things ease up. Of course, they can still keep reminding people it's unacceptable until they're ready to apply the penalty. GOD BLESS LAGOS STATE |
Damn! Then, it's safe to say you can't raise your female kid in some indians neighborhood without them bursting her baloon, whether she likes it or not. What happens to the story of their women vying/jostling to marry men as their culture dictates? |
A whole 2 millions barrels. Damn! Oil no dey, oil no dey, shey person no kno say na steal dem steal am finish? |
Curious346:25 years ago was 1999 and I can tell you for free the whole of QATAR wasn't no desert at the time. At least, DOHA wasn't. Same people misinformed people that DUBAI was desert about the same time in history AND BACK IT UP WITH 1970-80s DUBAI pictures when they just started building. |
Things are gradually improving I guess |
Good |
Watching patiently |
Impressive |
Lagos leveraging on the opportunities to appeal to investors the vast opportunities abound in the state. Hope DAPO and MAKINDE would also take up such opportunity of the president meeting foreign investors to promote the benefits of coming into their states. |
Hmmmmm |
The bridge was carefully designed to cater for two important things: safety and fitness. But of course, our NIGERIAN folks love it dangerously simple even if it ends up costing lives so they might get a chance to take another dig at the government of the day which they loathe. To the OP, you got other option and people like you use it. That's to use the vehicular passage of the bridge if that's comfort to you. And about the PWDs, they don't have to travel that long on foot. If they're not on wheelchair to make the journey comfortable for 'em, they should put it in plan to always board vehicle exactly going across the bridge to forestall stress. It's that simple and I don't understand why we make mount out of a mole hill. |

Okay |
Wow!that's great. |
It's long overdue |
Just keep pushing on the change; we got your back. |
Alright |
Good. We've joked enough with pressing issues. Only serious participants who are devoted and willing to support a good cause are needed to help drive positive change in our economy. Apologies, Laughing-O-Loud BDC, we've had enough of your games. We think this is goodbye. |
Imagine the number and the telecommunication companies allow their existence. |
If we don't stop climbing, we'll definitely attain the heights we aspire GOD BLESS LAGOS STATE Ibrahimcoomasie:Sorry bud, I beg to differ on just a part of your submission. LAMATA didn't start with the blue bus in that pic, they started with a fleet of red bus before they later brought in that blue fleet after a couple of years as an upgrade at FASHOLA's first tenure. Another blue fleet later came as further upgrade during BRF regime before the latest blue fleet introduced by AMBODE. So it had been upgrade upon upgrade till we arrived at this point. |
For real? |
DrAda:THOSE are not frogs, they're TOADS. And they're edible. |
Let's reboot and rebuild. Let's all go back to the regional system that's once favoured our growth and development. We need sanity to develop in line with our capacities |
OredoPikin:prq That's a joke right. Lagos already had considerable development that puts it as a very famous and rich colony before amalgamation. And even post amalgamation, the state continue to develop on its own financial strenght under the leadership of the BRITISH governor assigned to run its administration same way others were independently developing on theirs. During this period, the BRITISH colonial government treated each zones of WEST, EAST and NORTH as different regions under a merger like the BRITISH KINGDOM. And the BRITISH didn't chose capital for us at and after amalgamation like you try to impose. Like it was before amalgamation, LAGOS just retained its ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE that attracted migrants from other regions and nationalities into it due to its already impressive commercial and infrastructural development which make it seems like the capital of the merged regions. Only at independence did the leaders of all the regions who fought for the freedom sat together to pick an already flourishing LAGOS as the one to represent them as the face of the country. Nigeria didn't build LAGOS, they leverage on its vast developing strides to pick it as their face. What's more?Till after independence, the state lived solely on its resources. Tax, port, agriculture. It was until IRONSI did his stvpid magic that we got the coinage; COMMON GOAL AND FUND (or NATIONAL CAKE during the corruption years). And ABUJA wasn't started in 1991. They started building since 1975 but it was 1991 that they moved having been satisfied of the project they built. So, ABUJA had been gulping our common fund since 1975 till date and it remains the only FCT built by FG. In the case of LAGOS, our founding fathers leveraged on the development on ground to chose it as their desired capital. Of course, they expanded on the development though. Search nairaland or online for pre independent pictures and video of LAGOS (including the independent video)and see beauty that was measuring up to the big cities of that time. Then NIGERIA happened..... |
aariwa:AND of course, the aim is not for LAGOS to stay stagnant but to be a desired multi-cities and uniquely developed state where citizens of countries and cities like Dubai, New York, London, US (in general), UK(in general), China, Japan etc. would love and clamour to visit and invest in. |
This Putin! The name is already getting synonymous with violence. |
lexy2014:CAN'T HELP YOU IF YOUR IQ CAN'T PROCESS SIMPLE REPLY. YOU CAN ALWAYS PAY A TUTOR TO HELP YOU OUT. You cant think yourself and yet can't still understand explanation, I swear your case is unique. |
lexy2014:HOW do you pass out of school if you cant relate a reply with your questions?I bet even your kids would laugh off your level of IQ when they come of age to comprehend this discussion. They say you guys are illiterate but perhaps what they should've said is you're dumb. Damn! I'm getting ashamed now going this low with you. Better go pick your brain where you left it. You're already in bad light without it. |
tony0806:YOUR people said as much against the BLUE LINE but commuters using the rail service are presently praising the governor for making it happen whilst enjoying all the benefits it adds to their lives. Everything is not about provision of food. Some things definitely helps in bringing food to the table without hassle. |
Funny and cunny bill. |
Such a risk pushed by hardship |
Even pastors too? |
