This is surely a matter of community interest and not merit. The oil has divided tribes more than it met them. It's sad |
The hallmark of great leader. Great leaders take responsibility for every hardship and work their socks off to turn around the tide. And when things are turning up good, they share the praise around, so that the team working with them are duly recognized for all the efforts they put up to make things work. GOD BLESS PRESIDENT TINUBU GOD BLESS NIGERIA GOD BLESS ALL PATRIOTIC NIGERIANS TOO WE RISE |
The reason why we still have to deal with kidnapping and ransom payment is because some sims still operate without being linked to the NIN. Although there are the situation of STOLEN/MISPLACED SIMCARDS getting into the wrong hands too (and thus becoming a tool of use for the men of the underworld)but those are minimal. If we can get those sims out of the way, then calls can easily be traced to the callers without hassle and stolen sims can also be traced with little troubles. Good one there from the NCC. I RISE lexy2014:@lexi the answer to some of your questions are already in the post ye quoted, go read, the post carefully. I understand you have to explain everything to the finest details for an OBIDIENT cause of the level of IQ so I'll expantiate a little further. Of course yes, there are plenty of sims not yet linked to NIN. If you open up your mind, you'd have seen complaints on this same thread already of people who find it difficult to link their sims to their NIN for various reasons. They're not alone, they represent tens of thousands of simcards like that but while these ones genuinely aspire to link theirs (that's to accept their various excuses), men of the underworld (kidnappers, yahoo boys, bandits, boko haram members and others)take advantage of the UNIDENTIFIED SIMS to cause havocs. Kidnappers are untraceable because they operate with unidentified sims. Blocking such would force them to reconsider their fate or risk being exposed as whatever numbers used thereafter can then be traced to the individual who registered it (or in a case of wrong possession, the staff who registered it can be figured and investigation starts from there ). It's a simple logic. |
owagbeba:I understand your point and I'm not even arguing whether this new tempo can last or not BUT SPECULATION ALONE OFTEN INFLATE MARKET PRICES SAME DAY NAIRA CRASHES BUT WHEN DOLLARS CRASH, THEN THERE'S THE EXCUSE OF WAIT AND SEE. We are our own worst enemies. We revel in taking advantages of situation against ourselves, and go round to blame much of it solely on government. |
The Op doesn't seem to know that there are plentiful of estates on the island who run 24/7 power supply on IPP. Banana Island and Eko Atlantic are another big community and mini city respectively which also operate 24/7 IPP electrification system. The Op na learner. |
Welcome back home our amicable president. The entire Lagos state admire and love you. May GOD continued to strenghten you with might, knowledge and wisdom to take this great nation to the glorious land. |
How come we don't hear the noise of dollars crashing as was always portrayed against the naira? How come we don't see the immediate reflection of this on our daily consummables as we saw it while naira was crashing? I guess the problem of this country are the people who take advantage of every single situation to their benefits at the detriments of their fellowmen. May GOD forgive us all. GOD BLESS NIGERIA WE RISE |
The Jagaban of Africa. GOD BLESS PRESIDENT TINUBU GOD BLESS NIGERIA GOD BLESS SOUTH WEST STATES OF NIGERIA IMMENSELY TOO WE RISE! |
That's a good move. Abuja is also ripe for BRT lanes and bus terminals like LAGOS and they should also expand on their rail lines. |
Do this guy ever get old? About the lawsuit, I hope he scale through or settle amicably out of court. I was a die-hard fan of the BAD BOY FAMILY and won't love the superstar artist cum businessman go to jail. MODIFIED; I guess he was headed for jail with some confirmation of sexual assault, gun running (illegal I think)and girls smuggling he allegedly engaged in. He would find it difficult to beat the law on all these charges. Another superstar about to go down. |
Truths9ja:DEM never register during CARDOSO time, na EMEFIELE and hin predecessor names dem suppose put. NA Cardoso era dey expose the rots allowed by previous CBN governors. TO THE THREAD, the registered names already suggested they were out for crook dealings and wouldn't want sh!t linked to them. |
Good |
GWR should give this guy certificate already for the greatest fraud in the world |
Noted |
Too bad we're still on this |
May peace reigns WE RISE! |
Evils will never last |
Good |
It's the devil's wish. They will continued failing |
We know there's political undertone attached to the protest but FG should also act judiciously in the interest of the masses. |
The purpose of proposing the intended UNREST was to cause CHAOS that could lead to anarchy but the SW which was planned to be the EPICENTER for it to gain momentum saw the written clearly on the wall and vied to cool off the intended effect. Mission failed. |
richiemcgold:Unliscensed and illegal. The list only covered the registered. The street traders are the problems dictating prices to their benefits through hoarding and illegal cash (dollars)laundering. Ykc2:YOU guys are irredeemable and inseparable from these bullsh!t of FG concentration, major ports benefits/favours, ex-FCT argument always raised against the development of LAGOS. What was then responsible for LAGOS swift development during colonial era because no area/region was close and it was operating as a separate colony? Hadn't airport been in ABUJA the new FCT for decades; why hasn't the new FCT airport overtaken LAGOS? And to think this was your people's assertion for years as a pivotal reason for LAGOS leading development. Everybody started building airports and in the end, none could measure up. MMIA is even a major contributor to the continous existence of many of them because they're unviable. Now your goal has shifted onto seaport. Like airport, seaport is available for anybody to build, why being afraid to invest in one if you feel it's the clog in the wheel of your development? The NIGER-DELTANs always said the same (as if pre- and post-amalgamation any of,their seaports ever performed as vibrant as the LAGOS port)but when AKWA IBOM government got approval to put their money where their mouths are, they turned COLD. They got approval about the same time as LASG but only LAGOS went ahead to do it in absolute believe of the ROI, their counterparts merely chicken out. It had been a case of excuse upon excuse. And no government is stopping no seaport anywhere from working to its best capabilities. That's not in favour of LAGOS. The true reality you don't want to accept is that no seaport had ever performed vibrantly as LAGOS ports and that's why all records pointed it out that the coast WAS A POPULAR POINT OF EXIT FOR SLAVE (AND FOLLOWING AGRONOMICS)TRADERS IN AFRICA. I don't understand why you have to pretend to be affected by something you too can get. But if you think the FG would spend billions for you over project they don't truly need, then you're only preparing yourself for disappointment. Thanks. Ykc2:Kids everywhere. Sometimes you wonder if the end of your stay on this forum isn't overdue because of IQ and age bracket of the army of members here. But for the correction of misinformation that's rife here, I'd have left honestly. Were Awo or Abiola the leaders/rulers or governors of the colonial LAGOS? Where did you see me named any of the two as the facilitator of the development mentioned? Or did I tell you Lagos development start with any of them? I guess whosoever scrape HISTORY of our education curriculum did more havoc to the intellect of todays children than good. He has to be severely penalized. Yampotatocarrot:THEN THE STREET TRADERS SHOULD BE REGISTERED TO THE BDC EACH OF THEM IS FRONTING FOR SO THAT THE GOVERNMENT CAN EASILY TRACE ATROCITY RIGHT TO THE MAIN BODY. The reason why we're here is that people used this hawkers to control (don't wann use inflate)prices to the detriments of the nation's economy. We need to know who and why? If someone sells a lot more than the actual price the CBN sells to them, such needs to be investigated. Unfortunately, you cant do that to the hawkers because they're affiliated to no one legally. |
Another sad one from the EAST. May GOD protect us from enemies within and without. |
So sad a news. And in addition, some people were supporting a certain senator's call for gun legalisation, hope they're seeing the kind of news that would reign supreme as a result. Gunshot would just become easy tool of settling dispute and disagreements LEADING TO MORE CALAMITIES THAN IT'S MEANT TO SOLVE. |
Three of five at a go? the goddamn developer must be jailed and his riches converted to the benefits of the families of the dead victims, irrespective of the number. |
Ebi2233:YOU sha claimed all the major oil producing areas into you map. You should know those areas you crafted away are particularly stationed on lands belonging to the states you're trying to separate them from. |
Obaseki no dey see this now. |
Okay, it's PPP. That's great, especially as it's ten lanes with rail space incorporated in it. This is good news for the southern states. |
