naijapips04:
I agree that blackface should move on, but everyone is not as emotionally strong or mature as some people are. There are people that've been through several heartbreaks yet some others just have one and they commit suicide.

You need to understand that people handle betrayals differently. And it's not just about one song. Blackface invested much in 2face. He taught him flows, etc like he brought him up musically. The best Tubaba could have done is to at least acknowledge him and not to beef him.
Granted but we shouldn't encourage stupidity and mediocrity. With or without Tuface, Blackface will still be an average Joe struggling in the music industry. The proof is the fact that he hasn't made anything of himself in 20 years.

Some people kill others when they're betrayed, should we support them? No. Encourage them to move on.

The anger that this guy has held onto has destroyed him. Not because I like 2face but because he hasn't offered anything else. Anyone who says differently is whining on his behalf. A fool at over 40 is a fool forever!

Tuface should go to hell.

Blackface taught him all he knows today as regards music and flow. Tuface had no flows before he came to plantashun boys. listen to 2face carefully and listen to blackface, you'd see that Tubaba copied and modified blackface's flows.

Imagine taking someone as a brother, given your all to him only for him to betray and rubbish you latter. Some people are not emotionally strong enough to look past some levels of deep betrayals. You see people drinking poison because they were jilted.

Tuface made blackface the wayward guy he is today. Tuface should do something to help blackface heal.
Blackface doesn't have an excuse please. I agree Tuface should settle him for his intellectual rights on African Queen but besides that, nothing.
Copy copy is allowed. In fact, in Nigeria today, very few artists are doing their own thing. Most just sound like remakes of others. The goal is to make your copy copy unique and own it.

No one has the power to make you wayward or stunted. If all the rich people and great artists tried hard enough, they would find someone who screwed them over or even a few someone's. It just isn't enough of an excuse to stand still and throw shades after almost 20 years. Get moving and do more.

Faze didn't betray him but he still earned a level of success Blackface cannot match. He doesn't have an excuse. He's just bitter and angry and it shows.
Family › Re: What Is It With My Wife And Her Past Boyfriends? by piroux(f): 12:25pm On Mar 18, 2019
ruddyman500:
I got married to my wife in 2017 and we have been living together since, we have a child together but there is this problem with her anytime it has to do with any of her EX. i will cite some of what happened .

She wanted to organise a programme at a time and the person she could think of is one of her ex who happens to be a media guy, i told her point blank that i dont want her to go met the guy but she explained to me how the guy will be of help to her in the programme she is planning, i let her be cos i dont want to be seen as someone throwing spanners in the wheel of her progress, i supported her and the programme was a success.

Another instance was when her mother died, and they were planning the burial ceremony with her brothers...my wife got home and told me that she told her brothers that she will talk to a musician to come play at the ceremony and the said musician happens to be another ex of hers. i told her right there that am not comfortable with it at all how could ur ex come to sing at her mums burial and i will be there dancing to his tunes?...after so much back and forth , i told her i will only attend the church service and i or any of my people will not come for the party, that was when she made last minute changes and went to book another musician.

The last straw that broke the carmels back was yesterday....I and her have been having some issues of late and we talked over it infact we are just coming out of the tensions....then yesterday morning around 8am she told me that another ex of hers called her overnight and told her that his mum just passed away and he could not think of anyone to call but her cos he is so broken, she said she had sent her condolences already but that she will like to go greet the guy and his siblings cos they are in their fathers house [ the guy is still single ooo although they broke up in 2013] and that she will be able to know about the burial arrangements so she can plan on attending the burial..so she asked me for permission if she could go and pay them a visit yesterday..... Normally i wld not have allowed her but i thought what is she didnt tell me and went there and secondly cos of the tension we just went through and i dont want another tension to build again , i told her i will only allow her to either go greet them yesterday or she goes for the burial ...I told her i will only allow her to choose one . She then asked me in strong tone why i didnt wnat her to attend the burial.....At that point i left the room cos i was not ready for another round of arguments.

She did not say anything again until afternoon, i went to my living room and asked her if she is no more going on the visit again she said she already taken her bath and she will go n prepare now ....she entered the room and started dressing up, i went to meet her in the room and i told her that i allowed her to go cos i already gave her the permission but henceforth i will not allow such again ...Told her she is not the only person with exes , i dont allow issues of any of my own ex brew tension in my marriage , i told her i have an ex whose fathers house is just like 5 mins drive from inside the estate we live and when the man died my ex called me ..all i did was send her my condolence over the phone and i explained that i cant come for the burial cos i have a wife at home whose feelings i respect and that it ends there AT that point my wife flared up to the high heavens .....she started ranting that why am i caging her that i should give her reasons why she should not go that am just so obsessed with her am immmature, insecure and bla bla bla. I told her if loving my wife and protecting the dignity and integrity of my family for obsession then she is totally wrong. She said other men will not have any problem with it that why am i making an issue out of the situation, i explained to her that am not other men , What Mr A is comfortable with may not be so with Mr B cos we all have our individual differences .....One problem my wife have is she does not see reasons why i shld not accept what she seems right to her . I then told her to call any of her elder brother and explain this situation to him if he can allow such ....

This is a woman i never restricted her movements ....i only restricted her twice and they are both on health grounds...When she left i did what i have never done before [ i have never reported her to anybody either my family or hers no matter what happens i find a way we can solve it]...i called her very close friend and explained everything to her, the lady was surprised and she promised to talk to her....I also tried to call her elder brother who is a pastor but his phone is switched off and i have not been able to get through to him .When my wife came back
she did not even greet meat all , she came to take our baby from me which i refused her, she went straight into her room, i later went into the room to lay our baby and i went into the guest room to sleep cos am so much in anger and i dont want the neighbors to hear any noise from my flat.

please i need sincere and honest opinion from married people on here ....i want to know if am at fault and secondly what next step should i take
Me, I am here trying to understand why you know all her exes by name, face and occupation. Biko, how much time does she spend telling you about them?

Did she come out and say "Sweetheart, you know my Ex, Tobi the mechanic that I did bla, bla, bla with? His pupsy just died and I want to go and visit him?" Because, I don't get.
Why are you so knowledgeable of her exes when she doesn't know you have an ex who lives 5 minutes away.

Don't mind me oh, I know this doesnt answer your questions but I feel your wife is over revealing things to you and you're naturally over reacting. Her Ex should remain an Ex. Finito.
Give her a little space though, the more you ask her not to meet those people, the more she tries to see them. Just to annoy you. She could even be playing up non existent relationships because she knows you're a tad not possessive.

Just chill...sogbo?

Be there doing Good woman.Very soon the boy will Go on hols to his father and You wont believe it.

My husband's cousin was in the village in Abia when welfare from Rivers came and arrested himjust because he defaulted in one mth payment.

Stop sending him messages,Stop that useless calls on festive peeiods and report him to your state welfare.

I heard My neighbour korokoro when he told his ex wife now that one naira he wont give her, that when the children grow they will Always look for Their father. That She will suffer and train them alone and he will eat the fruits of her labor...
It is Their tactic this days.Stop being soft.gosh!
!
Not that I'm giving the OP advice but that tactic fails. Woefully in fact. Especially in this generation. The child might go back to look for it's father, mostly out of need and curiosity. However, the day they confirm what their mother told them is relatively true, that man is done for.
You will end up pitying these old men when their abandoned children start with them. Especially those who were not responsible enough yo build retirement plans. Their suffering no dey get part 2. Seen too many cases.
However a man lays his bed, he will sleep on it well well.

With your whining and 2nd chances.
Grow up. Let him grow in peace. Focus on yourself and your self development. Get some more esteem and self love. Get your education and beef up your IQ. Stop letting sex cloud your mind, no wonder sex is for matured people. And you are not matured.

It shows, especially because you believe he loves you.

He said he got to know everything after they got married.
Hian!! Does that seem weird! He must indeed have a low self esteem to not have noticed his supposed fiance was playing with him. Come on!
She broke off, came on, disappeared and then ran back to him and he proceeded to marry her without due diligence.
People who ask us to investigate people we marry aren't too far off. A few visits to her family would have told him what he is seeing now.

I think years you and your wife need a break actually. Check your heart and find out if you want to bring a baby into your situation. If you find you love her enough, discuss things with her- no more bullshit about stallion exes!- she married you, she must live with it. Then come to an agreement about her family. You can't discuss something at home and then she runs off to tell her daddy, when she knows he doesn't wish your marriage well.
Agree on how to proceed and pray for God's peace in your home.

I was getting angry that you started with all of the woman's faults. However, you got honest and then added that the guy was an internet fraudster and also a single father. Great.

See ehn, you can believe it or not but nothing goes free. Your friend is most likely reaping the fruits of scamming innocent people. For every action, there are always consequences.

Besides, your friend was preconditioned to believe his wife will leave him without his money hence he might be projecting his insecurities on her. She might be innocent entirely.

Tell him, since he has repented, let him take his marriage and insecurities before God.

I wish I had a magic answer for you but I don't.
Personally, I dislike men like your present bobo. I'm not a traditional kinda girl, I don't enjoy cooking but I do. I would prefer to be with someone who understands that women want to explore other things too.

The fact that you find it hard to say you love him is a red flag. After 3 years. Jeez. I'm sorry, maybe it's a Muslim thing but Muslim women often seem a bit repressed to me. Apologies if that offends. The limitations are often depressing for outsiders so.....

Now, you don't have to take me too seriously but I would rather be with a guy who gives me butterflies no matter how short than marry straight a man who leaves me feeling nothing. That's the rest of your life with a man who doesn't excite you. Just saying.
If you feel like this now, you will probably cheat on him the minute he leaves to go abroad.

Sigh. Like I said I don't have any magic answers. I could tell you to pray, chances are high however that you will only hear what you want to hear from God.

No, she won't. Only you will. Often, I have seen people who know they have issues and have made mistakes try to validate themselves by using envy and "they're just threatened by me" to excise their behavior.

Your sister has issues with you or your husband for whatever reason, go talk to her, make your peace. Same with your brother.

Establish your position and make them understand that while hurting them or offending them wasn't your intention, you're sorry that you have.

If they listen to you and it ends, great. If they don't, give them space.

Also, watch yourself. Truly, you come off as arrogant and for a last born in Nigeria, this may not go down well with your siblings. Whatever you're doing to make them think you're proud and uncorrectable, please stop it.

The bible says we should get wisdom in all our gettings. Do that.

I remember reading this thread during those years when I was to waiting to get married. So it is give back time. The first year of our marriage was a joyful one and full of blessings too. We went on honeymoon (Dubai) came back and I was able to buy a car for my wife. I also got assigned to a more favourable role at work. We conceived after exactly a month and we had sex almost every day of the pregnancy, until she had to travel to have the baby and we resumed as soon as I was able to join them up till the day before the baby was delivered. We were celibate until the wedding so this was so fulfilling. God blessed us with a bouncing baby boy and we have been back to love making since 13weeks after the baby. Our relationship has gotten better, we communicate well and neither of us has difficulty saying sorry. I do not want my wife to get mad and she avoids getting me mad too. To someone else, my wife may be such an incompetent wife and to another woman, I may be too finicky for a man but we have been ok with each other. She is fast settling down to the wife role and we are completely opened to each other about everything. God indeed answers prayers. I thank God I did not make the mistake of letting her go and I am trusting God to continue to help us.
Wow! More blessings and increase in Jesus name!

I tap grace for an excellent marriage.

Cooking your husband's fsvourite meal is being selfish? This is new for me. I thought marriage is about give and take.? A truly wise person will do these things knowing it will make her spouse happy. Maybe im selfish like you opined.
Lastly I never made/ make her feel indebted. I don't go about acting as if she owes me any debt. Matter of fact, I don't even mention the subject at home.
But what else will you call it when you derive joy from something but she doesn't? I just think its different strokes for different folks. But being married, you both should make an effort to understand what you both like.

Have you ever tried to make her favorite food? You only have to do it once and she will reciprocate. Home building is not a woman's prerogative alone, it's a two way thing. Besides the HIV issue, which you seem to have overcome, everything else can be worked on with a little sacrifice and encouragement. God bless you.

Wow!! I'm shocked you chose to stick to a woman who is HIV positive and sleep with herhuh shocked
More guts, man!
But remove that staunch Christian nonsense from your post. You're not!! A staunch Christian will not stray and willfully commit sin. You will not ask her to go to town hall meetings and what not just because she's grateful to you, mba.

I for one, will never go for something that doesn't make me happy, at all. IG I go, it will be once. Asking her to do things that don't make her happy reeks or selfishness.
Love is kind, love is true and love bears no ill, a staunch Christian will know that.

I'm not married but I believe marriage should be give and take. You can work on your marriage without making your wife feel she should be indebted to you for staying with her.

For me, that HIV stuff is huge. But different strokes now.

These two methods kills the insects and their eggs. Thank me later.

While your wordings and phrase are horrible, this story is actually sad.

How do woman jam men like this and kiakia do wedding with them?? If a relationship lasts longer than two years and ends, anyone entering into a new relationship with either former lovers should ask vital questions.
The other woman probably selfishly left due to monetary issues and wanted to get her act together or wait till the man starts having money and comes back to beg her. Only to hear that the man don jam another babe!! shocked
The people who would have told her about the wedding will forget to add his pain and disillusion when she left him for the third time.
Me, I don't blame the man, I blame the new woman and her family. She is obviously desperate to be married at 31 and refused to ask obviously vital questions.
Just watch, whether she goes or not, she will soon see the man with clearer eyes. In any case, their marriage is null! He is married to someone else and until he divorces her properly, she is just the mistress.

Schools are plentiful, good and affordable too.

The roads especially the Badore, Addo kinds are good, they have been recently repaired and the estates are well paved.
