sotall:You're quite unbelievable. Does that justify the crime? Whoever is pained about other wicked politicians should please come out too. The question is is this true? If is true, all these guys should be stoned to death be it any politician. |
Obakoolex:I do agree with you on every good thing you said about Asiwaju. However, I disagree with you on the fact that people are mocking his fitness. Nigeria is bigger than anyone and we shouldn't be sentimental at all. He is a good administrator per excellence, no doubt, but his current health may not carry the tasks at hand. Nigeria is in the mess, not entirely, Buhari's fault but largely by wicked people that surrounded him. He has done to the best what his health could permit him though woefully. We need a president who has the administrative acumen of Tinubu but also has the strength of Obi. Forget it, things might get worse despite his administrative acumen without good health because people that surround these people are terrible. So it requires a president who is mentally alert that keep track of things and be on his toes. |
Obakoolex:Can you please tell me what you're seeing in Asiwaju that we're not seeing. I am a Yoruba man, I would have preferred Asiwaju of 2015 or 1999 because of the soundness of his health and mental alertness. Unfortunately, Asiwaju of today is not the same as Asiwaju of those years. I do not doubt his administrative acumen but the task ahead demand a very energetic president. Asiwaju cannot cope as CEO of our commercial banks because of his current state. I would have loved him to throw his weight behind Fasola or Osimbajo and baptize them with whatever vision he has for the country. If you're truthful and love the nation, you would place national interest above personal interest, I was rooting for Asiwaju because of his past administration acumen assuming he's in good state of health. After watching series of his outings, you cannot love Nigeria and still vote this man except for personal interest. As at today, Obi is a better 'sinner' among all the three front aspirants. I wish Nigeria the best, and may God because of millions of helpless children in core villages and cities of Nigeria intervene supernaturally in the affairs of this nation. God is so powerful to remove any pending enemies of this nation. He has done it before, and He can do it again, and we hope He will do it again in Jesus name. |
siralos135:And that's the enough reason to conduct test for an empty class? This lecturer cannot survive a session in sane society without dismissal. |
franchasng:Thanks so much!!! |
erico2k2:Anyway, I don't know how she saves monthly because she's not accountable to me. She recently finished a building project for her parent and I am sure she has have over #25M cash after the building project. As to what she saves, I have no idea. I got to about her cash in the bank when someone approached her for POF through me. |
franchasng:So what should be your advice to my sis with CFA, earning #900k monthly, and with her her yearly bonus, her monthly package will be more than 1.5M. Aside the fact she will definitely get a promotion next year? She wants to migrate to UK. She has tried US once but didn't click. I have advised her to try US more than UK but she feels US wahala is much and hence considering UK . |
Kenn55:I honestly don't know why people have such resentment towards people that have achieved what they couldn't achieve. Why discouraging people to migrate if they want. Migration is age long phenomenon even from bible days. I have so many brilliant friends that have left the country and I have so many other brilliant friends who believe they would not migrate anywhere. I have a consultant friend who left for Canada and returned back to Nigeria for personal reasons. He's in US now. He likes Nigeria and always looking forward to retire in his home-town. Leaving or staying in Nigeria is not a success. Leave people alone to explore especially when they're very young. I might not encourage some who's 50 years older to do so because of peculiarities of western world, except you are well established in the global demand skills. |
Waterlrd:You do not need to attack everyone that doesn't share your opinion. It's your opinion that they should be paid and itsy his opinion that should not be paid for work not done as obtained in decent climes. All you need to do is to provide superior arguments why you guys should be paid. Nigerian lecturers are too autocratic and domineering. He doesn't need to agree with you and that doesn't make him less intelligent or stupid. Learn to tolerate other people's opinions. By the way, this your president speaks with many mouths, shortly after the strike, he said they called off the strike majorly to obey the court order. Why is he changing it now? . Learn to be tolerant please |
tuzle:Sit down there. Why not go to Germany and see how it is. What's the total population of Germany? How many Germans are in Universities across Germany. |
tuzle:If you de your house, you no go eat? You go still pay transport to some places. The percentage increase is not the issue but the absolute amount. Paying less than 150K per annum on any course is not sustainable. |
Warmaterial:Look at you! Why would you open your mouth and cast aspersions on your country on matter you know nothing about. How much did they ask them to pay? Find out the cost of education for one year in your supposed good countries. No university student should be paying less than 150K per annum. What's the essence of paying nothing to study medicine and co in Nigeria and later leave the country to elsewhere to practice. If Nigeria must work, everyone must pay contribute!!! |
CyberHustle:God bless you!!! |
Pierocash:I don't believe your narrative but don't attack me. I just find it difficult to believe. |
DenreleDave:Amen, in Jesus name!!! Enemies of the nation!!! God will disappoint them and the one they have gathered through hoarding of dollars will not profit them. |
Reference:You will do worse than the present leaders you are accusing. If in your powerless state, you're this greedy and selfish, you would do worse than any past leaders. Unfortunately, the papers you're gathering will not profit you when the rewards of evil intention against Naira and Nigeria begin to take a course in your life. Unfortunately, you won't be able to relate the cause with the effects |
Connected1:God bless you brother!!! God will disappoint these wicked and greed people praying for naira depreciation. Naira will bounce back in Jesus name!!! |
Raxxye:Amen in Jesus name!!! |
Viscuz:Why is this your prayers? What do stand to gain in all of these? |
CoronaVirusRelo:You're a great enemy of Nigeria. Why would he not attend debate? Debates are part of democratic processes anywhere. I'm not a fan of Obi and unfortunately was given Tinubu a consideration before but his flagrant disregard for public debates shows he's hiding some things and he's not fit as being circulated. He should be able to stand on debates podium for hours being questioned by people he intends to lead. None of the three candidates is a saint; three of them have their terrible pasts though in different proportions. So we are not looking for saintliness in them but rather genuineness of their interest in placing placing national interest above private interest. We should be able to x- ray their policies through questions in debates and he should be able to convince us beyond doubt he's the best for the job. If someone cannot withstand the rigour of debates, take it or not such a fellow does not have the stamina and strength required of governance of in Nigeria. Issues based debates are indispensable part of democratic processes. I do not support debates where candidates would be asked personal questions but saying you would not attend issues based debates is a serious alarm that should not discarded. |
Vinesee:Perhaps your OWN future. The future of Nigerians and Nigeria does not depend on any candidate. God will do great things in Nigeria through the vessel He has ordained which may be and may not be your preferred candidate. |
But d girl started d fight. She first of all assaulted d lecturer's daughter over a man. Pple retaliate differently[/quote Dindinrin!!! Out of all the matters a supposed learned person like an Associate Professor should attend to, na to defend one untrained daughter on useless matter. That explains why those guys could shut Ivory tower for 8 months and expected to be paid. |
chariiks:Deputy God!!! With the way you guys bring your sentiment into everything, Obi will loose this election. Nothing was wrong with what he said. He didn't create the idiomatic expression. And interestingly, the only food kept in the church is holy communion (which could either be the cake/bread and the wine). It could become poisonous either by expiration or exposure. The man was right. You guys should go beyond politics of sentiment, ideas and issues should be object of discourse. This 21st century! |
By the way, when did you become a Canadian consular officer to grant visa to anyone you like? You have no power to bring anyone into any country except he or she was part of your dependants in your application process. If not, you have no such power. To bring any other person outside your dependant lists in your application, you prove beyond reasonable that he's your spouse. You have to first get Marry to him and kick-start his process of your 'spouse' joining you and not friend. The best you can do for him now is to provide useful information about his own independent application to relocate, which I think good friends should provide for one another without any emotional attachment, and this doesn't guarantee him getting approved. |
Keep FOOLING yourself. Many of you are so daft to reason and apply wisdom to simple issues. How are they cowards? You think anyone care about the no work no pay? ASUU members salary has been held for 11 months before, they didn't die. WHETHER BUHARÎ LIKES IT OR NOT, HE MUST PAY THE SALARY ARREARS AND FULFILL THE 2009 AGREEMENT. This is a fight to finish. Enough of FG's nonsense. Nobody really cares about the damn meagre salary.[/quot You're the one that's very daft. You want to be paid for abandoning your work for 8 months. Government has failed every sector in Nigeria and if everyone should abandon work for 8 months, and expected to be paid. The money will just drop from the heaven. Thieve and daft person calling someone people daft. I was so happy with what government did fir them. Why are they now accepting the offer of IPPS accomodating their peculiarities. They were shouting UTAS or nothing. Only in Nigeria employees dictate payment platform for the employers. |
membranus:Stop these noise! ASUU is fighting for their pockets and they're so free to do so, but stop painting lies as truth here. Doctors in Nigeria should abandon the poor patients to die more in a bid to savage the health sector too. Wicked people and selfsh people! |
alphaNomega:Mumu |
boldtruthalways:Look at this one, increasing the salary of university is tantamount to improvement in University education. ASUU is a selfish union. Throughout the whole world, university funding is not the responsibility of government alone. Government, Universities, private sectors and international donors are responsible for university education. The focus of any government should be on sound and quality primary and secondary school education and vocational/technical education You can't close the school for 8 months and expected to be paid, that's makes no sense and I just pray Buhari doesn't pay them but rather use the their salaries to pay school fees of all registered students in federal universities. This wicked union used the instrumentality of strike to increase the retirement age from 65 to 70 years with high level of youth unemployment in the country. In decent countries, professors retire at 65. If you want to be rich as politicians, resign and go and contest. How much did primary and secondary school teachers collecting . There are Msc holders in secondary schools with ridiculous pay and yet these people teach. |
Akinsete19:Unfortunately for you, this guy is the best candidate. In a decent society where the campaign is based on issues, Adewole is the best among them all. Your Obi will not win the election and cannot even do anything pass Buhari. |
Prokaryote:You're wrong!!! without good basic and secondary school education. University education is not everyone. Nigerian government has over-subsidized university education. What we need now to harvest potential in our large young population is compulsory, free and quality basic and secondary school education. Sound and quality vocational and technical education. Not everyone is needed in University and as such government has no business subsidizing university education |
Anigreat:https://punchng.com/relatives-of-one-way-drivers-victims-justify-vehicle-auction/ You can read that before your hatred for Tinubu killed you |
Saviour6:It's not only children of politicians schooling abroad. So many ASUU members also have children abroad and and children of many people in private sector. |
