krazykoons:Freedom is worth dying for, anytime. When pushed to wall, what do you do? Push back or break the wall? Break the wall, for you, I guess. Dying while fighting for freedom is the most honourable death there is. That's something that I don't ever expect you understand. It's not our fault if you're unable to understand. |
4evergod2:You're just argued for argument's sake. Nothing that wrote above remotely repudiates my earlier points. Consciousness is the agglomeration of interactive information. Even a computer, a non living object, retains interactive information even after it is turned off. The scenario that you referred to above, even if true, supports the assertion that quantas of interactive information, when they agglomerate to a critical mathematical threshold, become independent of their source, whether that source is a biological entity or not. This is what we call consciousness. This is why the consciousness of a cockroach, a chimpanzee and a human being are different,.. simply because their levels of interactive information DIFFER. Consciousness evolves in the way that , hand in hand with biological evolution. You are slightly different person every day , because something, more interactive information is added to your consciousness every single day, every interaction. Your consciousness is constantly evolving as your store of knowledge, your interactive information increases. |
4evergod2:Correction Sir. That you don't know something ,or do not understand something, does not mean that it is beyond explanation. Consciousness is the agglomeration of interactive information. For example, at the most rudimentary level, once a cell begins to divide, copy and store genetic information, the information grows, interact, until a critical mathematical threshold is attained, whereupon, the cell exhibits forms of rudimentary consciousness. A market is another example where consciousness evolves entirely on its own, once the interactive components (buyers and sellers) reach an interactive threshold. |
4evergod2:I think you are mistaken conscience for consciousness. Consciousness evolves.Take yourself , for example, when did you become conscious? While in the womb or after you were born? At exactly what stage in your biological growth did you become conscious and self aware? Would you say that your level of consciousness at 6months, 1 yr, 5 yrs , 8 yrs and now through adulthood have remained the same, or has evolved along with you biological development, environment, culture, education and social exposures ? Everything evolves, my friend. Change ( evolution) is the only CONSTANT in the universe. |
There goes our 16yr democracy, one despotic act after another. |
From what we see in Nigeria, nothing could be further from the truth. If this document is genuine , it should naturally include all religions, not just Christianity. |
eph12:But we have 55 yrs of history to show us that nothing good has evee come out of NEPOTISM and northern hegemony. |
nnofaith:Fair enough. But as a banker, you should know that all the major banks have bad, even fraudulent loans in their portfolios. All banks are highly leveraged to varying degrees. But it takes a catastrophic event like the TSA implementation, the sudden withdrawal of about 3% equivalence of the nation's GDP from the banking system, to set off a rolling cascade of banking crisis and failures. Consider that in 2008, the US Treasury had to pump in the equivalence of about 4.5% of its GDP into the banking system to save both the entire US economy and entire world from total economic collapse. Now, imagine doing the exact opposite in Nigeria, a monoproduct economy, a generator economy, already tethering on the brink. Look at it that way, and see the utter foolishness of that TSA implementation. |
Homophobia is a cultural bias. People, all people normally resent practices that are sacrilegious in their cultures . Religious people add religion as just another reason to be homophobic, whereas, the real issue is culture. Having said that, atheists are usually enlightened people who appreciate history as well as biology, and are therefore least likely hate or discriminate against homosexuals. |
DelGardo:In as much as I admire Kachikwu's management ability, using NNPC supposed first monthly profit in 15yrs to give credit to the Buhari government is very ignorant and laughable. Have we forgotten that 15yrs of fuel SUBSIDY payments constituted a NEGATIVE on NNPC 's balance sheet? With the removal or gradual fading of fuel SUBSIDY, NNPC has NO reason whatsoever to have NEGATIVE figures on its balance sheets. It's simple arithmetic, duuuhhhhh! , nothing to do with Buhari's management competence, which we all know by now, is ZERO. |
Another food for the zombies. The tempo and frequency of the hitherto, weekly zombie DOPEFIX has increased to daily DOPEFIX. The figures have shot up exponentially as well , from $2b to now $15b. It seems that the stronger the hunger pangs, the higher they notch up the volume on the propaganda DOPEFIX. Zombies, let me ask you . Na propaganda go fix your stomach infrastructure? ![]() |
Macelliot:God is anything you want him/ it to be. God is molded in the human imagination. |

Only a poorly educated person could write this. Mostly likely a Nigerian. ![]() |
Who gives these clowns microphones to speak in the first place ? |
Reyginus:Epic! Sir Reyginus. Simply epic. When they say that Jonathan ruined Nigeria, I begin to wonder if there is another Nigeria which they are referring to. ![]() |
Suigeneris93:Seconded. Complete and insulting BULLSHYTE. Food for Zombies. Nice and clever way to prep up the Zombies for the coming HUNGER GAMES. |
ZUBY77:In Buhari's world, Germany is still divided into West Germany and East Germany. |
Every single holiday affects US economic output, and of course , their GDP. Monthly and quarterly economic reports clearly show this. It's not rocket science. Now, imagine a generator economy, tethering on the brinks of collapse, losing an entire week of economic output. Nigeria, forward to the past. |
Iamlordgee:Nigeria 2016 ! The best description so far. Out of ORDER, comes CHAOS. |
Dereformer:I beg to disagree that the Igbos and Yorubas have great hatred for each. The Yorubas and Igbos have 10x more in common than then what separates them. It is in federal political arena that they are mutually suspicious of each other. And this mutual suspicion goes way back to the Awolowo, Ojukwu and Azikiwe era. As an Igbo, my opinion is that Yoruba political elites milk the past negative events between Igbos and Yorubas for their own selfish benefits, for federal crumbs. Since Yorubas are known to be clannish ( a very positive attribute, by the way), they tend to follow their political leaders to political perdition. ![]() Then again, I am sure a Yoruba would equally say the same about Igbos and their political elites. |
idupaul:Whereas the above statement may be construed as being tribalistic, the GLARING FACTS of Nigeria's sordid history ATTESTS to it's VERACITY. That both OBJ and GEJ united Nigeria by running truly pan-Nigerian administrations where merit took priority over tribe really really annoyed the northern elites. That both OBJ and GEJ expanded the middle class ( dominated by southerners) really really annoyed the northern elites. That both the OBJ and GEJ invested so much on education , Northern education especially, was taken as an unforgivable insult to the northern feudal elites. How dare OBJ and GEJ remind them of the their glaring failures against their own people. The irony is that the type of hatred that the northern elites have GEJ or anything related to GEJ administration is oddly directly proportional to the high level of attention GEJ paid to northern education and economic development. Again, this might appear like a tribalistic rant, but let's do away with the political correctness and call a spade a spade. After all, Buhari and brethren have absolutely NO pretences about political correctness or their agenda. Let's take a minute and reflect, for those old enough, that anytime things appear to be getting good in Nigeria , the northern elites intervene to take us back a few decades. Look back at 1983, when this same Buhari committed treason against his fatherland by overthrowing a Democratic government, a growing and maturing democracy. What happened to Nigeria thereafter ? ![]() Let's look back at 1993 when the whole nation united and voted for a new Democratic government, MKO Abiola. Again, what happened next? The same northern elites scuttle that peaceful transition that would have united Nigeria in more ways than imagined. Then came Abacha, and the tyranny of that feudal Despot took Nigeria back another 2 decades. Was it an accident that after POWER shifted to the South for the better part of the last 16years, that our economy began to grow, debts paid off, boost in education, boost in agriculture, boost in trade, the largest economic expansion since the colonial days, the largest expansion of the middle class ( the backbones of any economy) since the colonial era ? ![]() Wow! And what an odd coincidence (?) that the same Buhari is back, and is quickly taking Nigeria back to the LOCUST years, the years of hunger, despair and desolation, back to unbridled NEPOTISM, Despotism, Mediocrity and Feudal hegemony of security apparatus and resources. What an odd, but very very sad coincidence indeed. |
TSA nuclear bomb. The fallout has began. One bank down, many more to go. https://www.nairaland.com/3205466/cbn-sacks-skye-banks-management |
DonDiego:Obviously, his low comprehension skills didn't allow him to understand the point the lady was trying to make. |
Like I pointed out yesterday, the Sahara Reports about Stella Odua was just the WEEKLY DOPEFIX for the HUNGRY Zombies. Don't forget , APC govt. voted more money for propaganda, than for agriculture and food. Next week, it'll be back to Deziani's Billions. The week after that, to GEJ's trillions. ...and the cycle goes on . Zombie life, na so it be. ![]() |

Mynd44:Pls tell us. Remember, way back then, children normally started primary school at around age 10. To assert that Buhari was in middle school in the North at age 10 is preposterous, not to mention laughable. ![]() |
The HUNGER GAMES begin earnest. |
Buhari is poor, but his wife is rich. Somehow, our vigilant media never ever wondered or asked " what exactly did Aisha Buhari do for a living that she could afford a N10m watch, pay £150,000 in school fees for one of their daughters , Donate N130 m or so to IDP camp, etc etc ? |
bruzrecordz:Well, in case you didn't know, giving money or gifts in return for female companionship is an ingrained part of the social contract of dating. Now, whether it is done openly or in a subtler manner, it's still the same. Guys have to pay for companionship one way or the other, either in cash, gifts, promises of everlasting love or any other form of IOU. So basically, toasting should be simplified to " come with me babe, IOU. ![]() |
KingEbukasBlog:I really do think you may have a learning disability, as someone hinted in the past. If you can believe and swallow the propaganda against North Korea, and then use it as a sweeping blanket for atheism, then you must be dafter than previously imagined. I actually feel quite stupid being caught up in this juvenile mesh with you. Lesson learned. |
Mjshexy:How does anyone with a grain of common sense believe in this cock and bull story ? ![]() Big laughter. It seems, like I have said before, that the APC propaganda machinery titillates its hoard of sheeple at least once a week, with silly propaganda as a substitute for real food. Even an unencumbered primary school pupil would have sifted through this Shaff to know that it is a false news specially crafted for a certain type of people with a certain level of mentality. For example, no single name was mentioned as either a source of the story nor the perpetrator or suspect. For anyone who swallowed this fake story, you have just confirmed your IQ level. |
KingEbukasBlog:I think it's silly to ask atheists whether incest is right or wrong. Atheists are not from a different planet other than the one you call your own. An atheist is subject to the moral and legal laws of whichever country is a part. An atheist , let me repeat it to the daft brain for the millionth and one time, is simply someone who doesn't believe in the existence of imaginary creator and puppet fairy in the sky. Gosh!! ![]() |
