Mpeace: Hmm. From posts so far, I am beginning to think that alot of persons suffered from that insider information.( I dont blame any one for doing so, information is key and getting it before hand makes alot of difference.) So unfortunate but we must move on. Dwelling on what has happened will not change anything unless we make plans for a remedy. My question therefore is this 'whats the way for those still in that bus'. Gurus in the house over to u. I dont think you are right sir. Some of us who spoke against loco have nothing to do with fcmb. You can check some of my postings on fcmb and fbnh. Those banks that boosted their profit last year with huge forex gains will find it difficult to make good profit this year. So those results from the two banks are not unexpected. |

We all should stand together and condem in strong term what loco did. Coming to a public forum like this to dish out false information with the intention to deceive others actually shows the kind of person he is in real life. I for one cannot stand that kind of a being. I see this forum as a place where opinion and information are shared freely. It is also a place for everyone (and not only newbies) who values knowledge to learn. What i have gained from public forum especially SMN far outweigh what i have learn by reading investement books over the years.
And so i believe that the argument that we should not trust anybody for our investment decision does not hold. If we allow people like loco and his likes to come here and continue to spew rubbish like he has been doing lately,we might as well start counting the days when this forum too will be dead. |

jinnyz: Morning House, does anyone understand the sudden price increase in diamond bank. Do you advice to SELL now or wait till next week and see how the market plays out ? Unless an insider, nobody in actual fact can tell you what will happen to diamond bank next week. The best we can do here is to speculate and make projections based on available information. Wish you well in whatever decision you take |

DeRuggedProf: Hi Pluto09, I know you have already 'microscoped' DF result. How much was realized from the DF noodles sale to DUFIL? Ah, i never get time do that o. Will do that over the weekend. I am very light here and that might be responsible for my slow action in digesting the result. |

DeRuggedProf: Is Dangflour result fair? Yes, good result relative to its price. I notice a big jump in distribution and administrative expenses which a major concern. Those who are in should also keep an eye on the price of wheat at the international market. If wheat price continues its upward trajetory into the 2nd half of the year, the possibility of a slow down in profit cannot be ruled out. |

locodemy: Thank God you are here this morning. Pls i am not telling you to hold/ sell the stock but to use wisdom. I believe if you sell now the volume is speaking, you can as well join them to bring it down and quene for a new entry(low price).
Just ask yourself why the sudden volume spike? Was this stock on demand yesterday and previous? Since investors keep their eyes on Eps and profits, has this result shown any sign of rewarding investors in the nearby future.
Tritri, shine your eyes.Pls meet me privately. You are not helping anybody with your posts. If you are not ready to be in the market, you will do well to stop making unnecessary comments. The way you are arguing with mr market is really a concern for somebody like me as many might be misled by what are posting here. |

DeRuggedProf: They would have done that at around N170 per share if they had gone ahead. They waited for the meat to start rotting, like typical vultures do... This stock will go back and cross the N100.80 52 weeks high once that offer is completed by August 30. It is their way..CAPITALISM UPGRADED.... From my own understanding, the two events are not the same. Diageo position has still not changed, what they are doing now is taking up their rights which is different from initial plan of increasing their stake. |
