I did not see where you made mention of a layer of fat covering the abs. To even mention that sit-ups and crunches are outdated just butress the fact that you don't even know your "onion". Well, live with what you believe. Guys, don't get discouraged, you can have a six packs and i mean anyone and everyone can. I will say no more on this issue. |

LostCity:The iron plates is better being that they last longer. Morealso you can decide to increase or decrease the number of iron plates depending on your carrying capacity. The cement casting on the other hand don't last dat long most especially if the casting was not done right. |

kokomilala:Sorry to burst your bubbles. Everyone and i repeat everyone can have a six-packs. What is a six-packs? It is basically abdominal muscles. One six-packs become visible as one bodyfat decreases. When you do sit-ups or abs crunches, leg presses, the abs muscles develops in size(thickness)but it can only be visible when that layer of fats covering it is burnt off. Good cardios, clean diets and strength-training can sure dissolve that abdominal fat. Point of correction bruce lee was ripped and had a very visible six packs. |
Very soul-searching. So many people in this world are only existing but not living. We need to start living by first discovering what our purpose is on this earth and strive to actualize such purpose. Life is so much more than going to school, getting a source of income, marrying, breeding and finally dying. This cycle is so strong and vicious in so many people's lives. We all need to break free from this cycle and go all out to make our lives more meaningful and impactful. |

Keep on deceiving yourself, giving lame excuses for your laziness to be physically fit and healthy. Six-packs and rock-hard body is always the way. There is no woman living on this planet that will prefer a potbellied guy to a ripped guy "all things being equal". So get ur soft butts off the couch, discard your beer drinking habit and hit the gym. |

Slimszy:Thanks for the accolade. @jadonjack u 2 much. When you mean rigorous exercise, are you talking about strength-training(weight-lifting)? If yes then my answer is yes and no. I will give my reasons. You will gain lean muscle mass which in itself give you some weight but failure to eat d right diet will lead to burn-out. Your body will practically convert the muscles to (fuel)energy for the sustainance of the entire body cells. Muscles are basically proteins and amino-acids are the building blocks of protein. So during exercise there is a kind of mini breakdown of the myofibrils(musclefibres). It is after exercise, with the right kind of diet that the muscles are being rebuilt to attain bigger sizes. So failure to eat result in the breakdown of proteins to amino-acids and the carbon skeleton of the amino acids are converted to giucose and the glucose via the glycolysis and krebcycle is used for energy. Eat well and exercise right is always the way to go. |

Oya to my guys, lets keep pumping that iron. It must never grow cold. Rather than going to the bar, go kick some butts at the gym. Rather than drink beer or liquor,go for some ice-cold smoothies and protein shakes. No pain No gain. Lets motivate ourselves with these lovely pics.

What is pristine muscles saying? What pristinemuscles is saying in a nutshell is that being slim does not neccessarily mean you are healthy. Go to hospitals and clinics, u will see slim people with blood pressure of scary values like 200/130. Can you beat that? Blood sugar values skyrocketting like davido's private jet. No matter how slim you think you are, what matters is how your vital organs are faring. That chubby(curvy) girl u think of as unhealthy may be far healthier than ur bag of bony self. I am not trying to castigate slim ladies here but i am telling them to maintain a healthy lifestyle like eating fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats,proteins and drinking lots of water. Minimize consumption of processed foods, exercise well. Sleep well. Being slim do not give you an escape route from lifestyle diseases if you do not maintain a healthy lifestyle. Curvy girls are much healthy compared to their female counterparts because they are more health conscious. Moreover i love ladies with flesh to play with during "leisure" times ![]() |
I have being noticing some funny trends amongst our female folks and if care is not taken, in some 10-19 years we would be battling with an epidemic of chronic medical conditions like hypertension and diabetes. Okay, let me get down to business here. Okay, i am walking down the street and i see a chubby and a slim gal discussing. Based on the aproko wey i be, i forget my "ear" for their conversation. Slim girl: chioma you really need to lose weight ooh. Chubby girl: shade, i am trying ooh. I eat fruits and vegetables. I exercise every other day of the week but those love handles seem to remain. Slim girl: see,you are really missing. I eat anything i want to eat. I can eat sharwama for african and my tummy won't bulge out. I hardly ever exercise and don't like sweating. I have a wonderful body. Chubby girl: you are lucky. How i wish i have a body like yours? Slim girl: keep on wishing. I am healthy as f.uck because i am slim. Chubby girl: keeps mute. Sobs internally wanting to have a body like shade. How many a time i have encountered this ish is quite uncountable. |
Hmmm, it has been quite awhile since i last updated this thread, i am sorry no thanks to some "flu". But i am back and better. I promised to put up a good workout plan for us all. That i have not forgotten. And i will do that in due time. |
The mere thought of asians eating roaches make me sick to my stomach. Roaches are so filthy that you can find them in so many disease infested areas. I wudn't try it for a billion dollars . The only insects i have eaten till date are termites. Because they are highly proteinous and delicious. |
Nice one. Permanent fat loss not weight loss is a lifelong approach not some weight-loss pills. Eat less than you expend or burn. Eat healthy foods and also drink plenty of water, exercise also to build muscles. Muscles also burn fats. Rest well and minimize stress. Morealso this lifelong approach is far cheaper and more effective than those so called "weightloss" pills. |

Very informative. It is pertinent for parents most especially mothers to give their female children approaching puberty some real good sexual education. I am not talking about "the how to wear female condoms" kind of education . Secondary sexual characteristics that accompanies puberty in girls as well as ways to maintain good personal hygiene. |
