I have read every single comment on this thread. Read how people miss their moms and dads, well my both parents are alive but my mom has been sick for the past two years. She has this pain in her right leg, we thought it was rheumatism but it wasn't, she was told to shed weight which she did. Stop eating this and that, stop doing that and those, be exercising all of which she has been strictly adhering to until it seems the story is the same. Three weeks ago i wanted to leave home as well as my younger brother too, she came into our room with tears in hear eyes and told me to give up the idea of running a business cos it is risky as my father is a failed businessman and she has borne the weight of breadwinning. She said the sickness with her was not getting any better and if she dies she wants my younger to finish schooling and not suffer as well as myself not to beg people to survive. At this point i couldn't hold my tears cos i have never thought of not having a mother and all she has been doing suddenly flashed before me. She was crying and talking and i wished i could command the sickness out of her but i couldn't rather i broke down in tears, first time in over ten years i would cry and it became a weeping frenzy as my younger brother joined in.

I still spoke with her yesterday, i dont want her dead, i have fasted and i pray for her i just want her hale and hearty again. She has been a strong woman. Thinking of loosing her creeps me out and gives me goosebumps. They are scariest moments.

I don't care anymore, I'm pregnant for someone I met a month ago, I got what I haven't gotten from my ex in 5 mins, he doesn't know am pregnant, that was why I broke up with him, if he had been a good boyfriend, by now we should be taken care of at least 3 kids, I have no problem

Reality 1

The man is just a horrible human being
And wife doesn't know how to tame him (everybody can be tamed you just have to know the entry point-thats why you should marry your best friend in the first place)


Reality 2

Man was probably nice and caring before and woman turned him into a beast over time (some women transform their husbands sometimes unknowingly ,its a natural instinct for survival to repel all those verbal abuses you keep giving him)
Not withstanding ,the man should have learnt how to control his anger.


Bottom Line :

Marry your best friend and someone you can tame(not to be confused with control) and this goes either way(man/woman). Marry the right person for your character and personality.

Pray for wisdom ,before and during marriage and apply the wisdom

Never let your marriage go sour over time,Marriage is like cooking an eternal food with firewood that will never get done,you have to keep the fire (of love ,friendships ,trust etc) burning forever
