Family › Re: Should A Wife Join Cash And Effort To Build House/business With Her Husband. by queensmith: 9:13pm On Feb 22, 2012
erm your supposed to get a lawyer!!

you better get that lawyer immediately and make sure EVERYTHING is in the name of yourself and your kids!!

your husband should even remove his name entirely so the brothers don't try and use that to seize his properties.

The local property his family may have access to you need to SELL asap and get other assets nearer to the city.

make sure you have a joint savings account so only yourself or the noted next of kin (your children) can gain access to the money.

be very careful when you invest to make sure his family don't end up inheriting your toils.

Good luck!
Fashion › I Need To Do My Hair by queensmith(op): 9:08pm On Feb 22, 2012
What's the best hair to do that can keep for months with minimum maintenance?

No weave because hair goes everywhere then you have to hoover every-minute.

No Braids because it will cost me £100 and im not ready to sit for 8hours for my hair.

Short hair is too high maintenance.

I'm not cutting it ooooo. just no!

no ghana braids i don't want tension alopecia in the front of my head grin grin

any other suggestions?

Lacefront probably. . . . hmmm

^ i agree

@uju theres absolutely nothing wrong but i think a man should be entitled to choose. If the woman only wants him for financial stability then he might not be cool with it. It's not all about the woman. Lol

debrief08:
Those attacking and abusing this man should take a chill pill abeg. He has a problem and asked for help, his wife is not the sexy, fun loving woman he used to know, a lot of men saying that they want a spirit filled woman will keep the sprirt filled unsexy one at home and go and search for a sexy one outside.
The issue here is finding a balance. I know that most pentecoastal churches take this tongue speaking way out of context, 1st corithians 14 vs 27 says it should be done in order one at a time, one speaking and one interpreting and if der is no one to interprete then pray silently in your heart as God is not a God of confusion. This is different from the blabing and screaming we see in the name of tongues speaking these days. If one day my husband becomes so spiritual that our great intimate life becomes cold and routine I will have a big problem with it. Let things be done in order before anyone attacks my point please read 1st Corithians 14 from 26 to 40 then we can talk on that. Vs 40 but all things should be done decently and in order.
#thatisall.
Why should ones religion interfere negatively with ones life. You put too much into it, you end up getting nothing out of life.

See thats the thing moremi- she's been speaking in tongues before i was born. Who she was before that was probably different but who she is has never changed. If your step into religion was all of a sudden the obviously you will feel to take drastic change.
Over the course of time you will realise the changes arent at all realistic and backslide like you said. Or you can keep it real throughout your journey with God l. Which in my opinion is what my mother did. She had opinions that were influenced by her beliefs, but never allowed them to cloud her judgement. She had a social life, all the things that your typical pastor will make you feel like its wrong to own she owned. Because her person always shined through.

I think the ops situation is just down to attending different churches. Unlike what someone has said that does make a great difference. If your household is catholic for example then thier views will also be different and slightly judgemental.

@jenny abi! A woman that knows everything! Lol

Family › Re: My Wife Speaks In Tongues And Also Prophecy In Tongue Too -but I Dislike It by queensmith: 7:44am On Feb 21, 2012
awww speaking in tongue doesn't change your person. From my understanding some can do it and some can't. My mother speaks in tongue- incredibly prayerful, she can rock the house when she begins her sessions.
You invite her to the latest owambe and she's a completely different person, she will have the largest gele and rock the most expensive belly chain. It doesn't change her at all. Even when she started working for deeper life, her character was still there it was just a lil suppressed in her display.

Your thinking too much into it, I think because of your limited understanding of the bible and the holy spirit your perceiving things differently. Your spirituality is a completely different relationship. My spiritual being has changed many times but my person is still the same.

Don't let these things affect your relationship with your wife. If she has less interest in things it's for another reason.
There are two material goods that  I seriously invest in

1. Underwear

2. Shoes

I just dont like it when girls match panties and bra. Makes me wonder, do you change your panties atleast twice a day? There's something called VAG INA discharge (mucous) , especially a few days before  the onset of menstruation.

Another thing that I cannot stand is g-strings. ewww. My puzzie needs to be comfortable, tbh.
my cousin is the absolute opposite- cant do lingerie shopping with her she just throws my shopping away.
you have to buy at least 2- 3 knickers for each bra or change the bra everyday.otherwise the panties fade more than the bra. tis not easy being a woman! lol

@op seriously? lol
sha sha i think it depends on the dude, some men are more observant than others. Some men will notice your underwear most men won't.
Idowuogbo:
Tbh I only wear matching Nylon undies,in return he also only wears polythene boxers by armani. So yes we environmentally friendly its cool to go green.

Anoda attention seeking thread msteeeeew!

oyb:
kanye west is strongly political, if i'm not mistaken

i remember how he was dissing bush in the aftermath of katrina
this doesnt make Kanye any more political than you or me. Thats the absolute point, at the end of it all they are citizens, citizens that should have the best interests of the people at heart. Kanye made a statement he believed in, he openly supported a candidate he believed in, that doesnt mean he's a full fledged politician, but what these celebrities should remember is that they are accountable for thier open decisions and responsible for who they support.
If anything but their firm beliefs influence their decision then they and only them are held for it. If Dbanj collected payment for a president that will end up ruining the lives of his citizens then he should say. He cannot now claim not to be a politician after heavily being involved in politics. He should have mentioned these things when he was campaigning on jonathans behalf. The man is obviously very senseless its just a shame people didn't realise when they took him seriously.
I remember shaking my head excessively when I heard he was made the youth representative- a political position in itself if we're to scrutinize his role very well.

Because people are lazy and don't want to try harder. Its understandable that nobody wants to be reminded of falling short but at the same time i think it's important to appreciate when your other half is trying to make you better.
Family › Re: Help, Marriage Issues by queensmith: 10:13pm On Feb 20, 2012
I imagine my younger sibling basking in success and pondering whether his love is really true.

Unfortunately this is a dog eat dog world and your in Nigeria, the highest population of dogs in africa, and they eat everything.

I will advise my sibling to only marry someone on the same level as them, that way you both have as much to lose and you'd find it easier to trust.

If you cannot handle the idea of someone being with you for your treasures they you either lay your treasures aside or find someone with their own treasure. There are as many women out there with decent jobs, homes, cars unfortunately men tend to be intimidated by succesful woman.

If you can get past that you will be happy. Theres always a chance for your current lady to build herself a career and prove to you she's not after your money.

Good luck with all that.

Romance › Re: Who Would U Choose? by queensmith: 9:00pm On Feb 20, 2012
ok lets make sense out of this. Given the example of a woman that will love you for being a jobless tramp that lives under a bus shelter and a woman that is eager for you to move out of the bus shelter and get you a job.

Choose the woman that wants to change you, no man can regret it.
