Nice. Rail transport is the way to go. Now link is up with Apapa and Tincan, create a container yard at the Sagamu interchange and watch Apapa return to a habitation. |
Wow...the end of an era. Such a great man. Mentored so many in business. Will surely be missed. |
SammyJac:Okhiria is gone to where? |
A country that consumes its citizens. This is the country we have here, blaming the victims of robbery and rape to protect the identity and image of widely known social outlaws. The depths we have sunk to. |
DonMoga:Both sets are equally as useless to a functioning country. |
Jeezuzpick:Oga. A chambered round will be visible if you slide open the breech block. You don't need to look into the barrel. Just ask all of them to remove their mags and 'coc.k' their rifles. Any chambered round will fall out. ... just for the cameras. ....Anyway ceremonial guards the world over donot carry ammunition and in most cases those rifles are exhibition pieces with the working parts removed. PS. Seun stop this crap. What is 'rooster' their rifles... |
dumo1:Counter points. Don't run to google. What is google. Form your opinion and argue points. What is it. Military, economy, international relations...what makes him the most powerful. Just making noise up and down like a typical dictator. |
dermmy:Oga, NATO is at his doorstep in Georgia where they hsve tactical nuclear weapons and missile jamming systems despite Russia's angst. The Ukraine debacle caught NATO unawares but why has Russia not continued into other past soviet territories since then. Just last week European special forces were on exercise in urban warfare just to show Russia that even without NATO the whole of Europe is united against any further intimidation. Russia is isolating itself. It is the people I pity when it all comes down. History is replete with sad endings to dictatorship fueled isolationism. Even the Chinese are irritated. |
CSTR1003:That does not make him stronger but weaker. Accountability is power. That is why American could put a strike on Assad inspite of Russian forces in Syria. Russia could not do jack in Iraq or Afghanistan despite their interests there because....you got it, American led allied forces occupy(ied) those regions and you dare not make a mistake of an accidental hit. A one man business can never be stronger than a PLC. |
drakeli:Of course he doesn't know what power means. Power means influence, your ability to command resources, the most important of which is people. Putin has just a handful of friends most of which areburmt out dictators presiding over failed, divided countries. Against him is the fact that he is surrounded by countries he openly loathes which have pushed them into the hands of his adversaries making it possible for his adversaries to deploy resources right at his doorstep. Xi is better, with the biggest population, economy and a lot of cash to burn but once more his ability to project power is constrained by the lack of true allies and idelogical friends save for a handful of african and east asian countries. Once again China shares boundaries with its worst adversaries in Japan, Korea and India. The USA has a very unpopular president but as a country it has no rival for uts ability to command resources and project power. It has a vast array of alllies on all continents and has a neutral relatinship with its neighbours. Surely the leader of such a nation has far fewer headaches. |
GraGra247:He is not the most powerful man on earth. Trump comes first, Xi comes second and Putin third. He is just the loudest and that covers for a lot of inadequacies. |
... I am certain the gentlemen and ladies of the Press will be kept far, far, far away from him. |
GreatrAnalyst:Hailstones....the upper atmosphere above Portharcourt must av been below zero....aircraft beware. |
Malcolm101:Hmmm...what do you call Sheikh El Zak...and his followers... slippery slope. Next are outspoken pastors of mega assemblies.... and a certain Bishop who doesn't like thus government one bit. |
pressplay411:I tell you it is a slippery slope. There are no winners here. |
talk2percy:But when Madam O was arrested and incarcerated for maligning a certain pentecostal pastor, a lot of folks went up in ire. Why can't this church in question equally 'forgive and forget'. This is a slippery slope. |
So Mr. Freezer qualiffes to be arrested because this is exactly what he says about some churches, pastors and their practices which some people agree with. I think this is a slippery slope, an ill wind that will do no good. |
adetoroamos:No sir. True happiness can only come when you overcome challenges, resist opposition and battle your way to the top. When this is done by a couple helping each other along the way, it seals relationships and brings happiness. Happiness is not just by association, friendship or blood ties. Children, spouses or siblings of the wealthy are not necessarily happy. They are more likely going to be selfish, greedy and insatiable if they were not active participants in the success story. That is the truth of life and it explains why typical celebrity associations last as long as the time taken to sign the dotted lines. Like buying a stock at the top of its performance, it can only go down from thence. |
He's a President in the making. Trust me. |
Time to say goodbye Arsene. |
Jman06:I repeat again. If you go through the rigors of courtship, dance to the tunes of traditional wedding bands, buy an expensive suit, waste a pastor's precious saturday and feed five thousand men with two loafs and three fishes, all for food and fun alone out of the partner, then you head needs examination. Wouldn't it be better, cheaper and timely to just post a job vacancy and employ the servant in ten minutes. Pally, you don't know the function of marraige at all. I mean at all. |
Your maid cannot enable you attain your potentials neither can she be a custodian of legacy or project vision. Any man who seeks a partner for food and fun alone is quite frankly a waste of space on earth. |
Football management is a terribly stressful job and a lot of them will have blood pressure problems. So sorry for him. |
brodalokie:And who made the trouser the exclusive apparel of men. Did Jesus or Moses or Adam or Abraham wear trousers. In ancient times from pictures we see of Persians, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans and later arabs and Jews, none wore what we know as trosers today. They wore robes, tunics, saris and what we know today as skirts both long and short. So your reference to that passage cannot simply be the objects themselves but the intent. What the scriptures mean can be likened to what the military does in Nigeria todat when they forbid civilians from putting on the uniform. In that it is not the uniform in itself but the authority it projects that can be misconstrued. It can be used to make mischief. Once again, the sin is in the intent not in the apparel. I challenge you once again what sin can you attribute to a woman who wears fatigues as a soldier into battle or coveralls in a factory floor. May wisdom guide you and boost your understanding. Christianity is not religion and Christ did not set us free to once more be held captive by the rules of men. Remember, cultures come and go, so the needs of men but the scriptures remain forever. |
Madam Evangelist. No object without a soul is capable of sin. Trousers or pants (as the west calls them) are inanimate and nothing God has created was not made good. Madam, sin is all about man and the INTENT OF HIS SOUL. What he or she has IN MIND TO DO. The first clothes were made by God to conceal the product of sin, unclothedness. It was a FUNCTIONAL creation to enable man continue the business God created him for. So it is the intent. Once clothes are not functional they become a problem created by the wearer. There are many situations that require women to wear trousers. From aspects of farming to military service, sports and industry, there are not many alternatives. It is when the purpose, the intent of wearing the trousers is to comit sin then there is a problem, but this has nothing to do with the trouser but the wearer. In that regards any apparel worn whatsoever can be used to comit sin. |
They truly look awful amd unhealthy. But that is a black african thing in general, we love size, starchy puddings and oil. All the things that kill you quickly. |
maestroferddi:Listen to Wenger's comments on Sky about Atletico. You know little about football. You go down to ten men early in a game away against an attacking team. What do you call that. |
maestroferddi:Negativity is not a bad term in the context. It is an interchangeable term for ultra defensive tactics. Elevate your thinking before coming to a public forum like this. |
dominique:In what way. With all due respect, Arsenal are nowhere near the level of Atletico. The Premiership cannot match Laliga. In Europe Atletico has been to two top finals as against Arsenal's one. And Atletico is second in their league as against Arsenal in sixth. What is the basis of comparison. Arsenal lacks class, form and capacity. Nobody puts his mind thoughtless of his heart on that which is obvious. |
I said Amad can play like this for ten years. They just grind your energy, sap your will. They are the epitome of football negativity. |
If Real and Amad go on to win the Champions league and Europa respectively, that will be very colourless for soccer as a sport. |
LadyHeaven:That was Wengers' legacy. Poor quality legs throughout the team. Always accusing other clubs of 'buying' trophies. The lack of investment has put Arsenal where it is today. It will take a couple of seasons for the new manager to right that but already I am hearing the new man will be given only 50 million. To buy what I may ask, a gardener or cook? |
