gnykelly:No sir. There was constant gridlock in those areas. The project is meant to re-route some of that. |
Posted a request on OLX....sell it!!! (sorry, couldn't help it) for a nanny...?!&*!!¿#!!!. I've seen some dumb things in my time but placing your children in the hands of OLX....sell it!!! (stop na abeg, sorry...) ...is the easiest way to....em...em...sell them.... So sorry. |
July2050:I am sorry to say so but you are just reprehensible. I have seen some really bad, base posts but yours is just too ugly. I'm an advocate of free speech but yours is deeply flawed. I am sure ten, twenty, thirty years down the line you won't believe or accept what you have written. Such a shame that this can be said in 2015. |
I am not a lady but my candid advice is to discontinue the relationship. Their values are obviously at variance. It cannot work. Having said that I can't help but notice the spice added to whip up emotions. Yeah, ladies are all lovey, dovey, cool cucumbers. But then what caused this fire laden pepperish exchange. Abegi. A lot of the cool cat belongs to the same family that produces the Bengal Tiger. Just beware. Most girls only tear up because they 'lose' confrontations emotionally, physically or verbally. |
lordinoh:Believe you me, it is. Peterside though a good man is increasingly looking like a puppet. Another empire building underway in the Delta akin to the west. Of Godfathers and the Cosa Nostra. Very anti-democratic. Wish him the best. APC must gain traction east of the Niger. |
carterguccy:Exactly the pathway the PDP used to walk. Nothing is ever learnt in this country. |
Daniyemi:What every wise and right thinking man will want. A true contest. The image of people about the PDP is one of the troubles of recent years. What they donot realise is that when a party loses power at the centre it undergoes massive internal changes, the people, the policies, the operations. If Agbaje wins in Lagos no doubt will he become a leading light and the new face of the opposing PDP able to challenge the ruling APC and keep them on their toes with fresh ideas and informed debates. In a democracy no matter how capable and sincere a government is, like a mirror you need a constant reminder that complacency is not an option. It is needed in Lagos. It is needed in Nigeria. Competition and fights are also necessary to help check corruption. You can be certain that 90% of the reasons why an Ameachi or a Fashola or a Goodluck is scared of losing and so fights to an end is to make sure their corrupt acts never emerge. It is when we have come to accept that time in public office is a fleeting, unpredictable event will politicians be wary of ending their careers prematurely. Change is good. |
Just stop all this prophecy business and edify the church through the Word. It does nobody any good. |
literarymathy:Sorry. You can't close it. The best days of the APC are gone. You folks are under the spot light now. No hiding behind the shortcomings of others. Its now downhill from here. |
Collynzo9:Ouch!!! |
Skoopy:Hahaha. Of course not. You wouldn't catch my shadow a milliom miles from the polling units. For me election days are national holidays. |
Dear Mr. Wike. I welcome your position in the overall interest of democracy but if you must lead the charge your feet must be solidly planted in the foundation of good governance. Nothing short of this will give you any traction to proceed beyond this election or elected office because quite frankly your reputation both within your party and in the general polity is, putting it mildly, next to zero. Your struggle to position yourself has been very unethical, full of treachery, crass and hopelessly nepotistic. Personally the only thing permitting right thinking people swallowing your candidacy is that your predecessor is just as bad and no one will want to return to the early years of the 4th Republic and the one party state of affairs. |
buoye1:Then under that kind of system you will not get it. Balarabe Musa is not correct. The PDP will remain and like I said last week will shrink uptill late 2017, early 2018 when the APC will begin to split in turn as the election season dawns. But if he is speaking strictly about ideological politics then I will tell him, there never has been one. That's why I don't have a PVC thoughtless of voting. I can't see that happening in this generation. Right now we the people are too politically ignorant, babies, to be fed the strong meat of ideologies. |
Whynotthetruth:If the lack of tolerance and internal democracy is what killed the PDP then you don't need a crystal ball to tell what lies ahead. If you are an APC supporter the best you should do is to keep silent, take cover and wait for the storm to blow over. Anything contrary is simply russian roulette. |
Skoopy:You need to get a lawyer to prove that in court. No logos, no party signage or references whatsoever and most of all the APC has disclaimed it and rendered Akiolu persona-non-grata so its hard to prove. You might as well be wearing a Karl Marx, Che Gueverra, Fidel Castro, Malcolm X or John F Kennedy's thoughts on your shoulders. |
yhusiee:No they are not. Pain will only die a natural death when it is endured rather than removed. No one will be saying such things for a while. That is the benefit of pressure. |
SIRKOL:It is as harmless as the 'Oga at the top' caper. The difference now is that the wind has changed direction and the hunter is now hunted. No big deal. This is a test of maturity. If you can't pass this, the road ahead will be torrid. Power corrupt4, period. |
adorablepepple:Hahaha. That's the spirit. |
ilugunboy:Another. What are you guys afraid of. I don't get it. Just a T-shirt. |
Jorussia:And why should they. They were taught brash, hot-headed politics by the PDP and I said it will return double double. The South-East that was politically benign is become the sharp end of the spear. All good. |
OkikiOluwa1:Provoking who. Who are they. Are the shirts not about democratic rights. The rate at which APC strongholds are becoming intolerant and anti-democratic all of sudden is alarming. Lagos of all places that used to be so cosmopolitan. They have won the elections so why the fear. |
blacksta:Expectations are already flagging despite not even a shot being fired. Sigh.... Nigeria. |
kenny987:So what are you saying. That parents should not be on the side of caution in ALL matters concerning the upbringing of their children? Let me tell you this. You owe it to them to do EVERYTHING humanly possible to nurture and protect them. Here they failed in one. Just one and have paid the price. Just look at the animal kingdom. No youngling leaves home until it is able to feed, fend and if necessary fight for itself. You dare go near them with their young. But humans who should bewisest are the most stupid when it is clear that their fellow species is the most cunning and dangerous of all creatures on earth. What is a kid that age doing in another man's house. For what. You live a loose life and the eagle WILL carry away your chicks. If you like dress your girl child in rags. You alone will cry. It is your duty to do EVERYTHING YOU CAN (and then study more) to protect your minor. Any and every assumption can and may be punished. The eagle doesn't post notice on the door of the chicken pen but every chick that grows into a fowl instinctively knows what they are. Only humans are stupid. |
Former environmental activist.... several years with cancer....hmmm... |
Can you see why corruption can NEVER end. Clearly the early days of the formation of a new cabal. Old mountains have sunk. Volcanos and earthquakes releasing lava, forming new mountains. Same old stuff. I just pity those who have staked all. Now you must face the realities of Nigeria. Its politics and its governance. I have said it times without number. Change the players as much as you like. It is the game that matters. The rules governing Nigeria make corruption a norm if not a necessity. The consolation and function of a working democracy is the threat of losing power and its consequences. That is what makes it work. But that it has any positive effect against corruption in Nigeria is just wishful thinking. |
baby124:It is still the same poor thinking and paucity of ideas in Lagos. Yes, they run to Lagos but what does Lagos do with them. Has Lagos exploited their potentials. Has it put them to work then tax their returns, no. Just the same cluelessness. In advanced economies like the US the higher populated states are usually near the top of the economic tree, slums, beggars et al, because where you have the rich, at least you need the poor to serve them. So you don't have any excuse. With right thinking leadership Lagos can operate an independent, prosperous economy from the rest of Nigeria so can every other state. Human beings are capital. They built the infrastructure in America in the 50's and 60's. They built the enormous war machine of the 40's before that. Your excuse is like a man with 10 wives, 30 children qnd acres of land. He either sees it as a blessing or curse, the children as an asset or liability, the land as a farm or an agonizing over grown bush he needs to constantly keep in check. People with the allocation attitude and entitlement mentality will never see proper resources when they have them. Oil.is a curse. It has deadened our thinking and made leadership such a tall order. Better call your local leaders to order because the day big oil ends, we will be eating each other out of starvation. |
CityNG:Its called a 'heads up'. Someone, somewhere may just be rolling the dice and to us one case is more than enough. |
Poor parenting. They were probably somewhere shouting 'change' or 'transformation'. I'm sure they know where their PVC's are. Somewhere safe under lock and key. |
Careless, bad parents. The type thatl employs a total stranger at 6 and gives him the keys to the crown jewels at 6.05. Any referals. Start there. |
stingbreed:God is his Father. Do you remove your cap in the presence of your father. I have never done so. |
mytime24:Who said that. |
Filmewell:Are you joking. That is the 'black economy' everyone is involved in. Sorry, that sub-section of corruption is 'inaccessible' by the law. An attempt to change it is akin to deleting the 'system files' of the computer controlling Nigeria. You surely wouldn't do that would you. |
