ORAFA: Some id.iots here will rant cluelessly and senselessly too. Do u knw wat d driver said b4 they clamped down on him? Sum of u just hear a one-sided story and draw up conclusions. How many of u can say d rubbish u've said abt d army even 20yrds away from an unarmed soldier backing u? NONE! And u cum here to run ur mouths. If u think US soldiers can protect u beta, id.iot, pack ur stuff and go to NY or u can try Afghanistan.... Bloody goats. Auwa! He should sit on d gravel for 5hrs. Dat way others will learn. IF U FEEL OFFENDED, BRUSH UR MOUTH WITH ACID AND FEEL BETA.....Long Live NIGERIAN ARMY.Can't help but acknowledging this post. Nigerians are just impossible. Do we know what actually transpired. Truck drivers are not exactly monks by the way. They can be so bad that even the LASG has made them nocturnal. Anyway,I believe the average man and woman in military uniform is way more disciplined than his civilian counterpart. In a short while we will be here flying the flag of ex-military generals in politics for their discipline and anti-corruption, all brutality forgotten. |
justwise: You are such a sad loser, the British media praise and celebrate every champion, Bolts, Nadal...get news coverage when they win, maybe they want to keep their families out of media eyes as many people do.I don't understand the guy. Why won't the British media celebrate their own and why won't the British media know the way to his village. And who says the Jamaican, Spanish and Serbian media do not have the pet dogs, goats and horses of Usain Bolt in the studio. The question he should ask. How much Serb-Croat do I speak and how many Spanish channels do I watch. If one watches pan european channels like Eurosport or global channels like CNN they do give balanced air time to all stars. CNN recently did an exclusive with Nadal right down to his Madiera (I think) village even when he was out injured and right in the middle of the Olympics when other stars were on show. |
boron10: Now I'm confused. In what way has Rafael Nadal contributed to this victory?Because there's this thing going round that foursome. They hitherto seemed to have a large target on their backs visible to but one in the group. Nadal couldn't handle The joker, Fedex couldn't handle Nadal, The Joker couldn't handle Fedex and of course Murray couldn't handle Nadal. Obviously the status quo has been shaken up. Federer is certainly in terminal decline, The Joker is burnt out after his 2011 exertions and Nadal has peaked. Time for a new hero. Congrats to Murray. The stars aligned perfectly for him quite literaly in Sir Alex and Sean Connery. Obviously Scottish solidarity was necessary to take out Murray's British Olympic wind and reassert his roots (jolly proud people) when many English doubters had said he probably could never do it. Good for him. Great for the game. Watched three and half sets before I had to call it a night. Surely missed history being made. The only person to have won a slam apart from the three musketeers in close to a decade. Well done. |
sharubutu: It's hi time we started looking 4 a capable replacement 4 Enyeama now, instead of relying on the popular Nigerian slogan of 'lets give him another chance'When he spent all of last season on the Lille bench a lot of Nigerians on radio, tv and in print said it didn't matter. Instead of trying to regain trust like most national team players will, he came late to camp. Another chapter in his book of tricks and indiscipline. Now the team and country is paying for it. If Keshi doesn't drop this chap, his days as top dog are numbered. In football, history counts for nothing. If not Hugo Lloris won't be up in arms with Friedel and AVB over Tottenham's gloves. Even his former boss (Siasia) tried to put his antics in check and was berated for fighting his players. He's lucky to be playing for a country that takes very few things seriously. |
Tlake: This is wat poor infrastructural dev will cause, wat kind of civil engnr will construct a road without proper survey, dats wat we gt with poor designs and constructions frm our useless contractors evan julius berger road does nt last up 2 10yrsSaid it many, many times. That stretch of road requires a series of bridges and not just culverts. If you are familiar with that area, you'd know that the road transverses several streams that turn into raging rivers at this time of the year. Not that the government hasn't tried year in year out to make that section motorable but their solutions are just wrong. When it comes to challenging terrains for highways, nothing beats that state. It is not called Cross-River for nothing. Pity they don't have oil to help. |
Kslib: Hmmmn, why did he send the video to david mark? We all know politics would be played with those evidence as usual. It's high-time we all realize that our political leaders do not give a Bleep about we the citizens. All they care about is themselves, they play politics with ourlives and our future, cos they know their's and their generations to come is secured..Perhaps because David Mark is the most senior christian political office holder from the north and he may have felt proximity will air the case. This scenario actually says a lot about what those classified tapes contain and their implication. Sometimes the contents could be so inciendary that venting it to the public could trigger.... |
kcfresh007: Nigerians cant wait to know who d sponsors are. Then what. E-fire and brimstone. ![]() |
Csami: My friend, u've been watching too much movies and it made u forget where u are. Abi oh. Maybe im name sef, e don forget. I hail oh Jason Bourne. Abeg make we bury covert ops with the late Sani Goggles. |
Radiation altering our DNA. What could be better than that. |
Fiawest: We are talking REAL society here,Clinton is respecting the LEGAL RATIONALE status of Obama...IBB n co down here no sabi dat now.Besides, there is no democratic relationship between GEJ and IBB in that content. You won't have seen Marwa bowing to Fashola in the run up to the last polls. |
How can you ban the importation of alcohol into Kano, unless it is illegal nationally? What law allows the banning of certain substances in some states, but not in others?
Thank you my dear. I have no problem with any state banning this and that. If Kano doesn't want alcohol I won't go there if I'm a bar stool (I don't drink by the way) but let's call a spade a spade. Only a policing organisation can stop, arrest and prosecute WITHOUT RECOURSE. That's why I support state police. So let's stop this pretense. The constitution is being breached left, right and centre. States are doing what they like. Why not just take that final step. |
The OP and his anti democratic and politically unsophisticated Ohanaeze show their true colors once again. There is no State police in any state in our country. The so-called Hisbah guards are certainly not policemen. Their actions are fully supported by the constitution. Instead of the said unsophisticated fools to work within the system through the constitution review committee, headed by an Igbo legislator, they are fermenting trouble with provocative remarks. Those bushmen never learn. SMH
And where is it in the constitution that you can shut bars and trash hotels selling drinks. Constitution of state or of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. When you make fracticious, sectional laws you need an enforcement arm to implement them. Are these laws they've made to be implemented by the Nigerian Police. If not which police will implement them. If I'm chilling out with a few friends over a beer and I'm assaulted, can I seek redress, where do I go. Answer and discover the forces at work here and ask yourself who interprets laws in this country. No, there's no state police. Vigilante indeed. |
Onlytruth: I often wonder why there are two sets of rules in Nigeria; one for the North and another for the rest of Nigeria. Are you surprised. Let our people against state police continue in denial. Said enough about this matter. |
Wonder what her husband will look like. One ear, six toes, five fingers and a headless lizard. Hmm. |
mekaboy: IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT HE CAN MAKE MONEY FROM DEMONS, WHEN THE DEMONS INTEND TO DO SOMETHING EVIL, THEY NOTIFY HIM, HE PROPHESIES AND PEOPLE RUSH TO HIM. IT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE IN THE BIBLE.Most informed post so far. |
dontador: All this nairaland babes get different taste.... I wonder how the guys una dey maga will look like....Pin stripped three-piece suits smelling crisp N5,000 notes. |
Ishilove: Who gives a rat's heinie about Texas? Now you got me totally confused. Ishi...a.k.a cottonmouth loves tight jeans and pointy shoes. It is the 'bride' a.k.a black mamba that's totally pissed.Boy, I love Texas. |
JallowBah: Lol at you.You will amazed at what intimate things people enjoy. There are things even you will shudder at. The beauty of the world is that every material has its combustion temperature. |
JallowBah: Agree.Agree and two paragraphs later disagree with what others accept. The truth is the world is full of prejudice. That is hot-wired into every living creature and plays a role in natural selection. One man's meat will always be another man's misery. Its perfectly okay. |
steph7: Skinny jeans and pointy shoesMeans you hate Texas. |
This man was CBN Governor when Nigeria had Milk and Honey for the Masses. Now all Nigerians want is Garri yet they ca`t have it. O MA SHE O!
Relative to the present day, yes, but at the time he left the economy was already in steep decline. Though perhaps through no fault of his. The Shagari government was spending like there was no tommorrow and the naira slipped. Once again. His figures are truly insignificant as compared to what happens today. |
omodapson: Go hug transformer.. Light no dey im area. |
How do you battle to save oneslife who was shot in the leg?? If Dem shoot am for head or chest nko? Naija doctors sef!
C'mon, you can do better than this. A quick glance at your biology books will show your arterial network. One hit there and you have twenty minutes max. Remember, we are talking about a high velocity round at close range. Again it brings to the fore the question I wish to ask our law enforcement community. Why is the standard issue weapon of the police force an assault rifle. The AK-47 is a weapon of war not of law enforcement. Why. |

kunletiwoo: Give reason(s) why you hate this? These days if it isn't seedy its horrible. What's wrong in a scarf tied into a bow. |
Seun: Perhaps your son does not have enough toys. If he has plenty of shiny electronic toys, I believe he won't lust after your phones! No. They want daddy and mummy's toys. That's why when parents get into that zone expensive toys are done with for a couple of years. Women particularly, naturally reorder their priorities. |
Fhemmmy: I noticed that the govt, regardless of the level is blamed for everything at all times . . . So again, why not blame the gentleman in the pix and leave Fashola out of this.Seem to notice this too. Every vice in society is blamed on elected government officials. When will we as a people ever take responsibility for our actions. In this case the law and code of conduct is lost on both puglists, perhaps the guv should be impeached for this. |
Abrantie: How does the price of bread affect the price of gari in the market?...metchwwwwCos wheat together with cassava and rice are staples in this part of the world. i.e. every thing you eat will have one of those so the absence of one will lead to the increase of the other. |
Policewoman: I'm sure you are either in Sudan or Somalia.Ha. That one na over-sahara desert. |
