So it happened that I dropped out from school since 2017 and I haven't been at home. I came back in May though and since then I've been at home being unproductive and stagnant.

Fast forward to Saturday, my mother, who has never given me money even to buy toiletries suddenly gives me money to buy a new shirt and cut my hair all so that I would follow her to harvest on Sunday.

It was my plan to use the money for some other thing and go AWOL on Sunday but because of my elder brother I decided not to.

So the Sunday comes at last and we go to the church. Time for the harvest reaches and she donates ₦20,000. This is someone that my brother has been begging to pay money for me to go to ICT school and get some skills since May.

Is it right to donate to your church when all is not well at home?

Note: Most people were donating ₦10,000. Someone even gave ₦3,000.

And this attitude of her is pushing me deep into gambling because I can't realise money to do the least of things.

Right now, I'm waiting for her to send me to fill the gas cylinder so that I can use the change on top to bet on UCL and UEL so that I can register for NIN.

I remember when my sister was sick, and I went to stayed many nights with her at the hospital. What I saw with my eyes those period, it just made all my life problems looks so small and irrelevant.

Both the wealthy and the poorest being rushed in, some on their last bar to death, some are unconscious, in a vegetative state. Come see crying mothers, weeping wives, prayer warrior full everywhere, praying and overnight fasting.

Next morning, some of the folks they brought last night have died, death was just like nothing there, the doctors are used to death. Many of the patients are big men, only son of their parents, and only hope.

Right there and then, every of their life problem was so irrelevant, in fact they will forgive you if you raped their wives and killed their mother if that will make them healed. the need to live was just so golden and expensive. You can't see those experiences and think money is everything.

Some patients were on life drip, being fed through pipe, they don't even know what is going on around them, and many are very wealthy that money is not their problem. Some even if they recover, their life will never will be like before.

A guy who had an accident before who came for check up has one of his legs amputated, how can money bring it back? Well this didn't end with a good note. I lost my sister as well. She died in the hospital.

Then someone (the guy I initially quoted) have the guts to say that only the weak commit suicide. What nonsense.

Bro I worked in a Home for elderly people before. There problem when face to face with money will intimidate money 100x. I saw people who served the Queen, people who did business with the Queen, riddled with Dementia that money can not buy their sanity back. They don't know whom they're anymore. My Sister started behaving weirdly last few Weeks. She laughs alone, talks alone and is sometimes restless especially at Night.

Though she always responds well and correctly when engaged. I've asked her and she told me she doesn't know when that happens and it's unintentional.

I, on my part have tried talking to my Dad to take her to a Mental Health Expert, my Dad seems to believe it is spiritual attack instead.
