Keyamo was prosecuting the case on behalf of the federal government. Now that power is changing hands to the APC, anyone with a bit of common sense should know that in line with best practice and ethics, Keyamo, who is a card carrying member of the APC cannot continue to prosecute the case against Timipre Silva who is also an APC member.

I guess common sense isn't so common these days....even among people who should know better.

Buhari is either a pretender or has been compromised.
He should start his corruption fight from Sanusi, the Abachas, Tinubu, Amaechi, Bagudu, Goje etc, he should stop fooling himself.

As for public asset declaration, buhari can't do ANYTHING about it because the constitution clearly states that people declare assets with the Code of Conduct Bureau and it never said they make public. It is at the prerogative of office holders to publicise theirs or leave it as specified. If Buhari need it public, he should fight for the amendment of the relevant sections of the constitution which requires 2/3rd of National Assembly consent and approval from 2/3 States Houses of Assembly.

BabaOneChance is overrated at best!

Well at least he can DO SOMETHING about the people who will make up the FEC under his administration by making it a condition for appointment. He does not need an act of parliarment or a legislation to make that happen.

The drive for probity and transparency in government will not happen overnight. All that is needful however, is for those in the lead to model it and others will gradually follow as the people that elected them will compel them to.

The constitution was drafted by people for people....the constitution can and will be reviewed by people when necessary.

Having said that, I wonder what you would do if a report that purports to recommend an investigation of your activities also recommends your suspension for fraud and makes several hard hitting allegations against your person. Is that not a classic description of a witch hunt where you are pronounced guilty even before the trial?

You nematodes need mental adjustments. To even tender that document to the PDP transition committee is clearly exposition of inexperience and of incompetency.

Your insults do not change the fact that you displayed an obvious lack of comprehension of the import of the terms of references issued to the APC transition committee. Be humble enough to accept your error and move forward from there.

Did obasanjo hand over to Yaradua? What does the constitution say in that regards. For Christ sake it's GEJ prerogative to do a hand over or not. For you to dictate terms of hand over and even giving an ultimate is unacceptable at all. All the agencies have perm secs who will furnish GMB led govt every info he needs. I blame GEJ, his gentlemanness is to a fault.

It is not GEJ's prerogative to do a hand over. Nigeria is not his personal business to do with as he pleases. There are things for which he could be put on trial and jailed if not properly and clearly documented and handed over. The reason for setting up transition committees on both the outgoing and incoming sides of government is to ensure that there is a smooth hand over of affairs. The mandate of 2 weeks was issued to the APC's transition committee. Why is that such a big deal?

It is in the public domain because there has been an attempt to demonise General Buhari and accuse him of usurping the powers of a sitting government.

The request for "advise" was aimed at the transition committee...not at the PDP. Read that line again for better understanding.

The principal person that made President Jonathan ' s government impossible was President Jonathan himself who waited for 3 weeks before acting on the abduction of the Chibok girls. A president who had to postpone elections for 6 weeks before we began to feel the positive impact of a war against terror that had been ongoing for years with the attendant loss of life, property and general tension in the land.

President Jonathan's collaborators in making his government impossible include the likes of Mrs Jonathan, Asari Dokubo, Doyin Okupe, Femi Fani kayode etc who kept singing praise songs and telling our President how dexterous his dance steps were though they could see him dancing dangerously close to the precipice.

Not to forget his coterie of e - warriors on social media especially here on Nairaland who would verbally decimate anyone who dared raise questions about the "transformation agenda."

Those, my friend, are the ones you should hold responsible for making this administration impossible.
