One day monkey go go market, e no go return. |
More like osama threatening to kill osama. Facebook employees hack for a living. |
When Presidents remove and instal governors at will, it should not surprise anyone that someone is out there threatening to kill. Whatever happened to voting, election, democracy? This country sef |
When two governments/airlines fight, the passengers suffer. |
Seven less idiots to worry about. |
There are plenty of them at the national assembly complex wearing agbada and suit. |
How can we run when we still do not know how to walk? What are they going to power the monorail with, mpanaka, ochanga or firewood? Instead of concentrating on keeping our roads roadworthy and free of pot-holes, we are conceiving white elephant projects with which to siphon and embezzle public funds. Let us first set a target of sustaining uninterrupted power supply for one month. Then try to organize annual convocation ceremonies for our only university that is meant to produce the engineers that will maintain the monorail. Then we can start dreaming of building a monorail. |
Does anyone have a link to the speech or is it meant to be a secret? |
How many Northern elites have come out openly to condemn Yuguda's statement? I am still waiting for one. Meanwhile, the sultan of sokoto is busy preparing to give a speech in the US on non violence and tolerance. |
Nigerians and deadline. when will we ever learn. Panic and katakata everywhere. Today it is SIM card, yesterday was international passport, tomorrow is national ID card, last year was FRSC sticker. Deadline for power, security, elimination of boko haram, MEND etc etc. |
ak47mann:I can only hope I am wrong and you are right |
The Media Adviser to the State Governor, Mr. Bonny Iwuoha, and the Governor of Abia State Theodore Orji are both domesticated fools and idiots that do not merit the titles they bear. They cannot even own up and take responsibility for a statement credited to them. And they call themselves our leaders. If the VC tells you that your pant is red, you reiterate that it is indeed without checking. Bombastic incompetent jaundiced assholes. |
Considering that Nigeria has always towed any line dangled by the US, I would expect the minister to refute that statement by tomorrow. I don't think Nigeria is independent enough to pitch tents against the US in any global matter. Sad but true |
How come a terrorist organisation that fights against western education is now hacking into websites and employing high tech measures? Nawaoo |
Seems like some people have started waking up from their deep slumber. FRSC has no mandate to collect license fees. That responsibility is within the purview of the local and state governments. |
The next thing you know, those fulanis camped along Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway and scattered all over the southeast grazing their cattle will someday lay claims to Igboland |
Missing male joystick? What ever happened to penis, genitals or phallus? |
Anybody willing to take revenge on behalf of this girl has every means to do so. The information needed to round up the culprits are glaringly available. Ifeanyi Ogu Justin (already identified) has a facebook account. His collaborators are also his friends on facebook. Catch one, catch the rest. Very easy. |

Both priest and victim were cult members. So what's the big fuss about all this? |
Gbawe:Well said. I also wish they would pursue other matters with the same vigor with which they pursue this one. They should also compel someone to appear and explain the progress made in solving the problem in Jos, the brouhaha in Maiduguri or to explain the reason behind the sorry state of the Benin-Ore road? It would benefit us all if they will prioritize and focus their attention on matters that will benefit this country, and stop chasing shadows. That ministry had a minister who is still alive to answer to them. |
Dyt:The metamorphosis of english language. After all it is "in vogue" |
Thank you Seun for Nairalalnd. This is about the only source of archived news on Nigeria from the past 5 years. It serves as, amongst other things, a repository for archived news and views on Nigeria. This comes in handy when conducting a research on Nigeria. Not even the likes of Thisday, Guardian and Punch has a archive section that works. Keep up the good work |
greateros:The beauty of Nairaland is that everybody get to air their opinion. Back to the topic: I would expect the SSS to figure out the top shots behind these unfortunate riffraffs that they have in custody. A bomb or a rifle does not cost peanuts in a country where half of its citizen cannot afford to soak garri thrice everyday |
I am not surprised that Ayo Oritsejafor is yearning for every Nigerian (including police, soldier, armed robber, militant, pastor, bus conductor, juju-master and Clifford Orji to bear arms. He has truly demonstrated that he is a born and bred Waffi man. |
A turn in the fortunes of this country can only be achieved when we have an administration that is brave enough to probe the administration of our past leaders. If a leader can rule a country, plunder her treasury and go scot-free, then what dissuades the next leader not to do the same? Absolutely nothing! Where is that leader that can instill fear into our elite? That leader who can bring justice and accountability back to where it belongs? |
Even at the brink of watching as this country slides into calamity, our reps are busy hunting the people whose presence they foresee as blocking their way to looting the treasury. I really do not think our leaders understand what it is they are doing in Abuja. |
manny4life:I am gonna say something I know. |
Wikileak has been releasing US embassy notes for a long time now. The authenticity of those documents have never been called to question. If not, why has the US government been hounding Julian Assange. Nobody questioned the authenticity of the releases when the likes of James Ibori and Joshua Dariye were gracing the headlines. Now that it is the turn of El Rufai and Okonjo Iweala, all hell is being let loose. The information is there for us all to interpret as we deem fit. |
The next thing you know, the man will vanish like "warri winch" from within the walls of Kirikiri into thin air. Trust Nigerian Police. |
WaltherPPK:But these are stocks that I bought off the stock market, not from public offers. Do they issue certificates for stocks bought off the stock market? |
