Babanah:The entire EU is looking for diversity of supply and they will take the entire volumes via long term contracts. There are also fertilizer plants planned along the route. Don't forget Morroco has the largest Phosphates deposits in the world. |
pyyxxaro:Do you understand that this is money for Nigeria almost equal to what we are making from oil?. A lot of you guys should just stick to petty trading. It is also not Buhari's project. It was conceived during OBJ but PDP never does anything but steal and play on the feelings of tribal inferiority of Nigerians who have that complex |
The man is not just a crooked cop, he is also extremely stupid. |
shadowprimezero:Yes there are US component makers or spare suppliers or banks involved in T-129. Nigeria can however get waivers quite easily from the US government because of the sheer enormity of its security problems. It is a two-year procurement cycle at best and that is why US AH1 is still the best option. |
jarell:There is a video on YouTube showing the accuracy of one of the guided bomb technologies deployed on the Super Tucano. The inert bombs landed accurately on the roofs of Humvees parked at the exercise grounds 10,000ft below the aircraft that launched them. |
The AGF is an idxxt. I am not a lawyer but I can count 20 charges that this terrorist is guilty of. - he actively solicited the murder of security officers - he solicited attacks on atmy formations and the murder of soldiers -he attempted to disenfranchise voters by threatening voters - inspired acts of arson against INEC and other buildings. - hate speech of an incendiary nature against other tribes -bail jumping - et. C, ət. C... The part about disrespecting the President is silly. I am a Buhari supporter, even I sometimes disrespect the President. It is called freedom of speech. The softball charges are probably a trick. They want to be rolling the charges in bit by bit so that crazy judges don't get a single chance to set him free |
Lurker4Long:Gratifying to see a professionally developed security assessment complete with ORBAT requirements report from up close. |

Self determination struggle is a crime. You don't know that? |
Coolliot:The US has no jurisdiction. The man committed a crime against Nigeria (within Nigeria) and Nigerian institutions. He also put the Police Force into ridicule. His serious crime involved punishing a business rival of a criminal at the criminals behest AND being familiar with a suspect and not reporting said suspect to police authorities. Ordering the payment of money into another person's account is not a crime. Many Nigerians had openly begged for handouts from Hushpuppi on IG so whatever secondary charges that can be proved against them could possibly apply to Kyari in that regard but those charges would be flimsy and the impactable space very large. Too many accussed. |
QuietMynd:Kyari broke no US laws but he did Nigeria and the Nigerian Police system dirty. It is not against the law to receive gifts from influencers. Concealing the crimes of Hushpuppi from the Police, assisting in managing his enterprises and torturing Hushpuppi 's business partners were crimes against Nigeria. Indeed the solicitation and receipt of money from Hushpuppi was probably a crime that millions of Nigerian youth followers on IG were guilty of aside Kyari. There is no jail big enough for the number of those who asked the man for money and may have received it. The man even had IG videos out asking people not to beg him for money any longer. |
bidexiii:OK. I was in secondary school during this Era. Nigeria was a true medium power. Africa was centerpiece of foreign policy. Murtala Muhammed / OBJ regime nationalized BP because the UK was supporting Apartheid South Africa. The western world thro the CIA wanted to overthrow Neto and install Savimbi in Angola. The entire OAU with Nigeria at the forefront supported Augustino Neto (MPLA). Cuba sent troops to fight. At one point I think they reached 30,000 men. Nigeria's NAF bold C130 flights were shuttling supplies to MPLA and landing at the dead of night with no runway lights on. When I see young Nigerians trash talk their country now I laugh. They are really the inferior generation. Nigeria also did FESTAC in '77 and invited a third of the entire world to showcase culture in the face of what was seen as rampant westernization. Wole Soyinka was a symposium leader at some of the intellectual jaw jaw events. Africa was going to have its own lingua franca. |

bidexiii:You did not know Nigeria was sending plane load of arms and money to Angola?. C-130s were shuttling quite frequently. Nigeria's leaders then were young officers fresh from a civil war with a pan Africanist political bent. After Cuba, Nigeria was the hero of the liberation struggle. |
limeta:He is not Fulani. Some of you guys are now fighting serious psychological complexes. |
Nostradamus1:This is the most intelligent response I have seen on Nairaland this week. You should be suing the police corporately and Kyari in person in any court if you went through this. Many Nigerians are dishonest. That state makes them vulnerable to the worst of abuse and you know what?. No sympathies. Police reform has to start from the citizenry. I used to hear of fraudsters in Lagos in the 80s who had to keep police on a retainer. You want to be a crook?. They will extort and dehumanize you and there is only so much aman can take. |
TarOrfeeek:Intensity. Divide the population by the area of land they are in. I am sure you went to school. 1. The north is bigger in area so pop density would be lower generally. 2. Cities have more population density than rural areas 3. There are seasonal migrations for religious reasons, farming seasons ET. C that color the picture somewhat. |
Kingsnairaland:St Kitts and Nevis. Not Christopher & Nevis |
jpphilips:Generally speaking only idiots, mentally incapable people and the afflicted by inferiority complex would follow Oodua Nation or IPOB. Where thing get done there is no tribalism. Only business. Nigeria is a united country under mammon, business, money and corruption. I will continue to insult people spreading separatist ideology. Nigeria's only problem is CORRUPTION. The people complaining about Naija are those screened off of it. No access. This Hushpuppi would have been Governor one day considering the way empty headed, soulless young Nigerians were following him on IG. He could even have been President and Abba Kyari and Kyari's bosses would have been his handlers for life because they would have had blackmailing leverage. Abba Kyari's extortions and bribes were mostly likely shared up the food chain. So Kanuri, Fulani, Yoruba and Igbo united by crime and you want to tell me Nigeria is unfair. God has already weighed you all and is delivering his punishments. That includes that Nigeria will never beak up until you all salvage it together. |
bidexiii:This is really affordable and good value for money. |
Whyem15:This is a most popular rocket system insert on many western choppers. The A109Ms, Bell Choppers and AS350s use them. I will get the name in a minute |
OnionBandit:Buhari has balls o. God give am specially. E never send anybody since dem born am. Person wey divorce him wife for taking contracts from his friends who overthrew him. The friends were doing it out of concern for his kids BUT for Buhari na the principle. We need more of him in this kontri |
bidexiii:Lai Mohammed is unaware. He was even mixing up Super Tucanoes and this separate request for AH1 Super Cobras. |
GeneralFarouq:This is the kind of analysis I like. It is made from some depth of legal knowledge not some beer parlor exposition of layman's opinion. The US was 'hurt' by Kyari's crime but how does that make it a criminal offence if it was not done in the US? . Also, what if Kyari claims he was on a sting operation to trap Hushpuppi's gang which was what the idiot should have done in the first place?. Can the US interfere in a Nigerian Police operation? |
GabrielYulaw:NA did not Massacre. They went to arrest the guy and his followers resisted. This notion that NA and Nigerian Police just goes and shoots anybody is erroneous. Why do we think we can shield criminals from arrest from NA, DSS and Police and there won't be consequences? You actually expect the company leader of the detachment sent to pick up the guy to return to base with excuses and stories. Funny enough the Nigerian Anti-Terrorism Act 2013 that was made under Jonathan actually automatically absolved the Army detachment. If you are going to do social activism and/or protest in Nigeria, get a lawyer and get educated on the legal framework. People dey die for nothing |
Stormtrooper11:Lairs. Wagner Group may be angling for a contract and they planted the story. Someone also planted a story about NAF buying M346 FA, a deal that has not even reached RFQ. People use the SM for various things. It behooves the reader to use No. 6 |
GabrielYulaw:Kaduna natives tellthe story of Shiites. State within a state. Youths blocking roads and preventing others from passing. Visiting violence upon anyone who asserts his rights when they are on the road. Apparently the man himself ElZakzaky has turned it into a sex cult thing with a night or is it weekend of mass temporary marriage where they get to do orgies. The Iranian Mullahs have the Izalla movement as their foothold in West Africa via that movement. So when people get blue eyed and duncy idealistic about Shiite rights I get irritated. By the way there is also Hizbollah and other Islamic sects/political factions alive and well in the North, Ilorin and Ibadan. I believe the DSS has been keeping tabs... just don't turn potential terrorists to victims when they do something stupid like blocking the convoy of Chief of Army Staff in the middle of a war where he was vulnerable to IED or suicide bomb attack for probably 15minutes. And word of advice: don't try such nonsense at these times and expect to grow to a ripe old age. |
Let this plane drop a GBU glide bomb on something soon. We want to see something. |
Litmus:US institutions are more mature and tested than Nigeria's. Security issues and police brutality may be worse in the US. I have lived in two states in the US. I never went to some neighborhoods in NY, Chicago and Detroit where i hear Nigeria would be like paradise in comparison. Always argue with facts, not sponged off perceptions from other people. Many European nationals see the US as a glorified third world country with nuclear weapons, tech advancement and industrial capacity. That is to say, they think the level of human development is not commensurate with their wealth and the technological advancement. That's a view that is debateable BUT it is far better than the one that sees Uncle Sam as perfect. If you think the US is perfect with the crimes, prosperity pastors, stupid tax code, thieving pharmaceutical industry, no good health insurance system and the recent Capitol invasion by Trump's mobs then you are uneducated. |
DubaiLandLord1:My friend, Abba Kyari will go to prison if guilty. I have a rice mill and others i cooperate with around Epe and Itoikin area. Lagos State has many agric projects and demonstration farms around that area. In fact I was going to post on Facebook a best practice I saw where LASG officials were chatting to real herdsmen (not Fulani militia) with about 300 heads of cattle who were going to possibly encroach on some farms. They were leading them to another area that I assumed was going to be a temporary grazing area for them. A few days later on social media I saw a large no of cattle driven out of Lagos into Ogun State. The major point I was making was the necessity to see social problems for what they are and not regress into atavism. Don't also blame a specific tribe for problems that every tribe whilst not all being guilty of are also potentially capable of. Finally only cowards and effeminate men react with fear and hate to social problems. You should seek to understand, then you master it and then you solve it. Don't run scared. It is an accident you were born into the tribe you belong to. Broaden your mind |
DubaiLandLord1:Governance is absent in rural areas hence security architecture is absent. Security architecture is absent because (I) LGA funds are being stolen and shared at state capitals by Governors and so there are no drivers of a strong economy. (II) the average Nigerian city dweller supports this state of affairs because of mental conditioning. Rural areas are "village". They go there for burials and for S. Easterners, once for trad marriage. People are not thinking in Nigeria. Most people have not really 'thought' since their parents shat them up on a midwife's table. 80% of the money made in Nigeria is at the rural areas and 100% of the sharing is in the big cities. The North and South have the same orientation within this rural-urban resource matrix and bandits are killing Northerners more than kidnappers, ND militants, ritualists and cultists are killing southerners. The things that may help are LGA reforms + jailing of LG chairmen allowing Govs to steal their money AND the new PIB that mandates 3% to 5% oil and gas operational expenditure to be spent in rural areas. Young people should correct rural-urban dichotomy in their generation. This is being full human beings, employ full capabilities and seeing the entire country as theirs to be exploited for good. Stop running scared and creating internal boundaries and limits. There are people living up to 80 years in Nigeria and all they know are a few big cities within Nigeria. That's a waste of life. |
QuietMynd:Ok, stew in your own falsehood. Buhari hates you and wants to kill you. He ordered all EndSARS kids shot, although I am still wondering where was Davido, Tiwa Savage and WizzKid that day. Buhari is an illiterate, Koran reciting, dirty herdsman who wants to kill all smooth, smart, fine westernized southern Christian young men and steal all the beautiful young women. There is Fulanization, Islamization and UthmanDanfodi-zation. Are you happy now, I have painted out your subconscious in all its colors? |
