Next time strive to avoid a hasty generalization and use the word "some" because not all families lack unity and love. Besides, literally, in the direction you're going, it's men that ought to be pampering women and children to avoid pandering to them. |
Ammishaddai:The way some of you are always bold to spew trash is unimaginable. I wonder when a poor man automatically becomes synonymous with good and a rich man synonymous with evil. Don't find a way to better your life and be here casting aspersions on the established. |
Asquare84:Cut the guy some slack. Your single sentence has two notable errors. A lot, not "alot" and sentences, not "sentence." So, the correct version of your sentence should be: "A university graduate typed this episode with a lot of uncoordinated sentences." The pot calling the kettle black. |
I would have said, take to the gumption of necessity to bring a positive effect to the situation, but I know that that will be almost impossible for you, citing that you lack grit as your submission connotes. The truth is that the only way to live right and healthy is by expecting her to neither fear nor respect you, but giving her the right to choose to either respect herself and whatever bond that holds the two of you together or get prepared to incur your wrath plentifully. She is, however, doing what about 99% of other women (married and unmarried) are susceptible to - it is not like men are any better in their own ways. The only slight difference in her case is that she falls within the bracket of less than 3% of married women that are artless in their own doings and that could be because she does not fear you or have much regard for the marriage. But then, it is better that she does not fear you, regardless of how it hurts you, than to fear you and engage in it subtly and without you even imagining it happening around you. |
Senate president is almost assured once BAT wins. |
Dem go de pose! Anyway, you deserve a good amount of leniency because you don't seem to have always been crass. |
Yes, Buhari cannot be trusted to institutionalize greed glossed with servility, self-absorbing giving, sententiousness, and disingenuousness, and that is not a bad thing. You all should stop this nonsense of equating the rational action of everyone who refuses to surrender their dominion to Tinubu as treachery. A majority of Tinubu's sufferings in the hands of his former associates and beneficiaries is discardation, not betrayal, and this is so because he never comes into equity with clean hands when associating with others. His problem lies in his wishes to reign over the dominion of those who come close to him perpetually. |
I wager it is not her unintentional inability to cook meaningful meals or ignorance on how to cook meaningful meals that is the main reason he filed for divorce because that ought to be a simple issue to have sorted out unless he was stupid or she was arrogant in her shortcomings. |
Osita Chidoka has ignorantly or wittingly failed to be honest to himself again. He failed to acknowledge the fact that the majority of the Igbo delegates' decision not to waste their votes on a single candidate from the South East extraction to prove a needless point to the general public was borne out of clear evidence from the majority of the power brokers from other zones within and outside the party prior to the special convention of the party that they were not disposed to a Nigerian president of the South East extraction, even after much entreaties were made. Elections are always won and lost before the voting proper, which is the reason why the benefactors of the Igbo delegates did not see the need to embrace a group consciousness. In any democratic political space, like ours, where politics of petty sentiments reign supreme over politics of principle and conviction, power is given not taken. |
ubimagos:Until you show me where and when I have condemned PMB's accent, don't continue to mistake me for the bumpkins that brought you into this world. Now scram and direct your mention and myopic thought to small-minded elements like you before I change my mind and descend heavily on you. |
It is only people that like living on illusion or have an inferiority complex who always expect others to discard their own accent and acquire or start feigning the accent of other people. |
Yes, the country needs a strong leader. However, Tinubu is not a strong leader but an overlord. A strong leader, when down or on equal standing with most of his proteges/beneficiaries, does still always command deference and reverence of most of his proteges and allegiance in general, while an overlord, when down or on equal standing with most of his proteges, is always disrespected, discarded, or wrecked, like being witnessed in the case of Tinubu and most of his proteges/beneficiaries/former associates. Tinubu is an overlord that is good at masking his true colors with the garb of disingenuousness when necessary. |

Weak harmless jab. A leadership position isn't a popularity contest realistically. So, popularity has always been one of the least considerations when voting or installing someone in a leadership position. |
Yusufisraelj:That's it, bro! |
Without taking anything away from his accomplishments, I have always known that he is not as sagacious as his undiscerning followers and some other people have alway presented him to be. In fact, even with his shortcomings in this regard, I had expected him to know long ago that his mentioned beneficiaries have always been his frenemies. The relationship he had with his frenemy beneficiaries is akin to that of an oppressive husband on money who always mistakes his ruthless poor wife's servility for submissiveness until he loses his financial muscle and the wife becomes financially independent and shows her true colors. In other words, what has played out now is a case of an overlord vs his disingenuous beneficiaries who have achieved independence. |
