Politics › Re: Babangida Sent A Bag Of Money To Buhari In 1988 - Biographer Reveals What He Did by RillJ(m): 2:10pm On May 16, 2017
He actually spent the money if you consider the report. 'refused and had it distributed'?

“Babangida had originally sent Buhari “a bag of money,” but Buhari refused it and had it distributed to the poor. Buhari had negotiated his pension funds with Air Vice Marshal (rtd) Hamza Abdullahi, a military governor of Kano, who acted on behalf of Babangida,”

Politics › Re: Amosun's Convoy And CBN Bullion Van Accident Photos by RillJ(m): 8:34am On May 12, 2017
Non is empowered to cease ownership of public road. What happened is a manifestation of our overzealous security operatives. That is my point.

BetaThings:
Who should have priority? Gov or CBN bullion van?
The population of Ogun State is more than that of Uruguay and many countries
CBN is a creation of NASS and they can reduce powers of CBN at will
Govs' powers are derived from the constitution
Politics › Re: Nigeria More Divided Under Buhari Than Any Time In History – Charles Soludo by RillJ(m): 6:49am On May 12, 2017
You should have gone further down the foundation of this present division to see the President as the center pillar.
97/5%?
Appointments?
Selective justice?
Body language?
Divisive utterances?
The list goes on but you will find them further down that foundation as laid recently by the present administration.

seunmsg:
Yes, we are more divided but the reasons for the division should also be said. A group of people have decided not to move on because their candidate lost. Some even went as far as agitating for secession just because they don't like the face of the president. So, how do you unite a people that don't want to be united?

For some of us, we are no longer concerned. Those who want to wail over electoral loss till 2019 can go ahead. Others are strategising ahead of 2019 and some people are busy attacking others instead of building bridges. At the right time, water will fund its level.
Politics › Re: Amosun's Convoy And CBN Bullion Van Accident Photos by RillJ(m): 6:36am On May 12, 2017
Both the CBN and Gov escort team are all guilty. They would overtake any vehicle they can but force vehicles behind to move at their pace.
Attempt to overtake a Gov's or CBN's fleet and see what happens. They had rather crash your vehicle than allow you through.

I will agree if the Gov's complain is that the CBN escort dishonored him by attempting to overtake his vehicle but as for the accident, it was caused by a deliberate by the Gov's escort to stop (by all means) the CBN's vehicles from overtaking.
Politics › Re: Abba Kyari Inserted 'Coordinator' Clause In Buhari’s Letter To NASS by RillJ(m): 6:17am On May 12, 2017
Who signed the letter?
Did the person read it before signing?
Is it to say he did/does not understand what the word means?
Whoever signed is the author of that letter, period.

She kind of felt stripped naked. Some psychological reminder of how she failed to be lady-like especially on a 'first date'. It might have being different if you had explained to her prior to the ordering.

Just explaining, not justifying.
Celebrities › Re: Ubi Franklin Reacts As Police Release Chinese Man Who Tried To Kill Him by RillJ(m): 7:29am On May 11, 2017
He is probably on bail which he is entitled to
Bail is not the end of a case
You will need to show interest and follow up to ensure Police prosecution.
Without your indicated and manifested interest, the Police do not really have any basis to go further on the case.
If you are interested in pursuing this case further;
Go and say so (preferably in writing) to the Police
Ensure your independent witness(es) make statements to the Police and are ready to testify in court. (You mentioned your cousin or so was with you. Other bystanders too)
The location has a CCTV, pressure the Police to request for this from the management of that building.

**** Please note - without your interest and followup, this has ended already. Even if the Police arraign him in court (attempt to commit felony to wit assault/wounding) you may still complain that 'the court did not do anything' if you fail to follow up with the case.

Would you have called this 'impunity' if not that it affected you personally?

Is this actually limited to a particular section of the country? I Lagos and other parts of South-West, the driver could have being killed and/or his vehicle set ablaze.
It is a pure case of irate mob, so stop the misguided and prejudiced statements please.

Irrespective of the time, context and actors, evil and misconduct should be identified and condemned for what they are and done without sentiments.
- When he wished his fellow Nigerians to drown in the Lagoon, you saw no wrong in it
- When he abandoned royalty to swim in the murky pool of politics, you hailed him on.
- When he discarded royal dignity to vetepurate and maliciously denigrate divergent political persuasions, he was your hero.

Why do you feign indignation now that the royal renegade has started manifesting closer home?
The only consolation is that the target retains his dignity and royal personage the sheer act of self-control. But if the one you touted as fearless has suddenly turned gauche on you, do not expect my empathy.

CASE CLOSED, MELODRAMATIC END.
Let some Nigerians hail them without asking the most pertinent questions here?
- Who owns that flat?
- Who owns the money?

This could have been played better.
Politics › Re: Seized $43million: Tell Nigerians Who The Money Belongs To – Saraki To EFCC by RillJ(m): 9:21am On Apr 19, 2017
This should not be a rocket science to establish.
Some one owns the house. He/she either let it out directly or through an estate Agent
The landlord and/or estate agent knows who rented/bought said apartment
The tenant/buyer knows who he (if at all) sublet to.

This can really be resolved in no time, like yesterday already.

I honestly think this is Ghana's calculated attempt to disparage one of our heritages as a revenge for 1983 Ghana Must Go fiasco.
Ghana High Commissioner (Ambassador) should report to Aso Rock ASAP and explain why this malicious but dastardly attempt to malign our key national interest should not be reciprocated in commensurate stern measure(s).
