Maybe, maybe not. The Yorubas so deified Oduduwa that they do not have a meaning or explanation for the name, but not the Edos. The Edos have/know the meaning of Oduduwa and can explain how the name came to be. No one is easily satisfied when his deep persuasion and interest is at stake.

Perhaps you want us to call 'Oduduwa' into the witness box.

tafabaloo:
Yet to prove same.

You may not appreciate how close Fayose is to his people until u spend a few days in Ekiti.

Be content bro, Oduduwa originated from the nearby Edo, not Mecca n certainly not from the sky. The Yoruba however find this tough to accept for obvious reasons.

tafabaloo:
I'm a yoruba man but the story of Oduduwa being the progenitor of the Yoruba race is tainted with fallacies.

The Biblical account of origin of different languages appears factual than the so called trekking from Middle- East as well as that of being dropped by chain from heaven

Unfortunately, it appears we cannot trace our origin and let's accept it as the truth.

Anyway, I stand to be corrected if you are armed with indisputable fact.

It all boils down to Politics. As interests shift or align, so is the focus and pursuit of government. Saraki would have been hounded to high heavens if the interests had remained the same as it was when the whole charade started.

Did Mr President actually campaign? Those that hyped him into office are more confused than anyone else as to how delusional they were.

bsaying:
Am just here staring at buhari and thinking " so this man knew he had no much answers to better the lives of people and he was campaigning tirelessly to become president" this particular thought pops up anytime I see a picture of the President..

Certainly not fire proof. Hope the car is adequately insured!

Moral of the story:
- Its never too late to start afresh especially with education
-With determination one can achieve much
-You can do much without noise (recall not many heard when she went back to school)

Congrats to her.

"Him"?

SillyMods:
Charge and bail lawyer!

Kudos to him though!

Read, understand and (not mandatory) comment.

GMBuhari:
He bought this junk 60M

I wasn't surprised when his birthday cake cost 400M

Oloriibu

Rev Mbaka on point.

We should instead hold the misleading opinion molders
We should please blame every Nigerian that refuses to acknowledge the self-imposed dilemma we find ourself
We should rather blame the pathetic liars that hyped him into office
We should fault the pathological Brownnosers that will not allow Mr. President face reality

Mutiny!

Congrats on safe delivery.

Who impregnated (husband/) her?

Not any more. The Southwest seems to have used the MKO apology to and exhausted advantage as they felt placated with the 'Change' of 2015 . How may states remembered MKO (June 12) in 2016?
We may however see renewed vigor in the 'MKO-Hero-of-Democracy deceit' very soon with the present development.

sleekp1:
This same MKO Abiola that is now being worshipped in the SW sold Awolowo to the north.

More real than you can ever imagine. The average going rate is N25k. Meanwhile the individual is xpected to do PPs to augment. So sad, very pathetic but very, very real.

handsomeclouds:
Looks too fake to be real

Amen! Bless you too.

EternalTruth:
God bless you for this

With rugged determination and God's mercy, you could start now and be a
- A first degree holder at 29/30 and probably still make NYSC (NYSC or Not no sweats)
- A Masters degree holder at 32/33
- A PHD holder at 38/39

There is nothing to stop you if you really mean this bro! Feel free to msg me privately if you need mentoring on this.

God see you through

To what effect?

Jesus turned water to wine so the bridegroom would not be disgraced and the celebration would not be cut short
Jesus healed the sick to make people well and remove hardship
He fed multitude with a few loaves of bread because there was no way to get more at the time and to save people from stavation.

Tell me what exactly is this 'miracle' meant for?

Fayose!!! This man is fearless and talks boldly. (Be corrected)

meezynetwork:
Fayose!!! This man is fearless and talks too much

RIP . I hope you gave your life to Jesus Christ before the end.
Many of us here may have done worse than Chijioke but we are alive by His grace and mercy.
While I do not make excuses for, or justify Chijioke's actions, I would rather admonish us the living to take heed.

"To my friends out there, my advice is that they should not involve themselves in such a crime.”

What crime(s) do you advice your 'friends out there' to commit?

Certainly not some IPOBs or are they paid crowd? Truth is what it is no matter how bitter.
The truth is Nigerians have suffered in the last one year more than they ever did at any time in the past. May God bless Nigeria.

Self or not, she has been involved in kidnapping. She should be investigated thoroughly and arraigned for trial accordingly. The state should ensure diligent prosecution.
An offense has been committed, the law should take its course.

Between the Devil and the Deep Red Sea.

Oshokomoleism - The foundation for cost-effective and result-oriented preemptive measures against violence and tyrannical bestiality.

Please let us know when it is 77 x 7.

Funnicator:
Second time I've observed him shaking in this manner..

Not Strange, not at all.
It is a replay of 1984, only that this one was rooted in some citizens clamour for 'change'

Threatened reprisal is no reprisal (not yet).
Any government that folds its hand while some citizens embark on wanton aggression against others has reneged on its contractual obligation to safeguard and secure the lives of all. It is a tacit approval for anarchy and selective justice which leaves the victims and potential targets very dim option; defend yourself or die.
I am no apostle of lawlessness (rather opposed), but the truth must be told before this government's bogus internal security dilemma land us into that very anarchy.

I wont be shocked to see El-Rufai holding a prominent position in an Atiku Presidency.

Recall El Rufai on his 50th birthday? “I have great respect for President Babangida. I think he has done a lot for Nigeria. You won’t take that from him. He has made his mistakes like every human being, but people like President Babangida and General Buhari should just disappear. They should give way to a new set of people with new ideas. Young people preferably,”

We know how far he is with this position today.

Two actors; one has spoken, let hear Davido

Bless God for you. However, there is recession and a huge number of your fans followers (music) are hard-hit as it is.
Recession is a reality Nigerians can not wish away right now.

Oshokomole 1. He who walk the talk is a man any day.

Elephant detergent, quite different from Omo blue detergent bro!

Kingsasian:
My o my! This brings back sweet memories of the good old days. Op do you still remember elephant OMO?
