Based on the picture and logic:

A and B are safe.

Weight of the chipped rocked is less that the rock on the platform so it will only rock it a bit without touching C. That makes C safe.

The chipped/ hollow portion of the chipped rock will be on D's head at that point when it rolls down so D is also safe.

E is safe because based on the arrangement, the heavy rock will remain on the platform because it is heavier than the chipped one.

*I hope I make sense*

One thing is certain, Gej till 2019 or Nigeria as we know it ceased to be.
This is no threat. It's a fact. Poverty awaits a lot of people in some places.
Ignore this at your peril.
Anyway never be disturbed cos Jonathan is leaving 2019. Ask me why, it is the fear of the above fact. Stop hoping against hope. It's Jonathan.
My problem with all these threats is that you guys are doing this very close to an election. It is better to have started this immediately GEJ was sworn in.

If we all believed a free an fair election brought him to power, we should allow a free and fair election to take him out if that is the choice of majority of Nigerians.

Did you threaten southwesterners in 2011 to vote for GEJ when they did? NO

Why now?

@MadCow1,

Stop trying to reason logically with the average Nigerian, they lack the capacity for such.

They are always sentimental and have a false sense of importance. They also like freebies and hate hard work.

RESPECT ON YOUR ANALYSIS OF THE SITUATION

Dstv is a monopoly because they understand their business terrain more.
Crashing Dstv prices will make them bigger and blow the smaller guys out of the water.

For the guy who said it's sports, remember Hitv had the EPL rights for 3 years but that did not stop Dstv.
God bless you.

What the reps failed to understand is, everyone has his market share based on their financial strength. Making DstV cheaper is automatically death sentence for the others. By the way, don't we have 1,500 subscription on DstV already?

OP, how do u expect such a nice and cool dude to approach you when you have baricaded yourself by hanging on the arm of the "most wanted guy" in your level. So much so that most people think you are dating. You get loads loads of attention from all the guys in your level buy flirting with them.

Must you have every guy in your class? He's the last one remaining and you must have him even when you know he has a favourite girl.

I don't think you really love him. You only want to conqure him since he's probably one of the few guys left that is not really bothered by you.

Case closed!

You crystallised my thoughts.

This cool dude is the only one she has not conquered so she became intrigued and thinks she likes him. The moment the guy makes a move, he becomes part of the retinue of guys falling for her that she glady displays as some kind of trophy for her female colleagues.

I am tempted to assume majority of Nigerian Christians are so ignorant about Islam.

Translated quran is everywhere. You can get one at CMS bustop in Lagos if you want it today.

Yes, it should be second to the bible on that list without a doubt. Common. let us all reason logically here.
Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Okay For A Christian To Eat Ileya Meat? by rman: 8:55am On Oct 05, 2014
Alcatraz001:
I think the problem of intolerance started having an heavy toll on Nigerians when the Muslims started killing for the god and never considered the sensibilities oof other religions...both christianity and traditional religion, for christ sakes,Nigeria is a secular country!

Now to the issue of ileya meat,I don't think I would willingly eat sallah meat anymore because I fear and despise muslims because of their propensity to kill and be very violent about their beliefs.

I used to eat ileya meat a lot in the past but I don't think I would want to eat it any longer because that would be tantamount to hypocrisy,I mean just look at the problems muslims are causing all over the world! Scripturally though,I don't think there is any injunction not to eat sallah meat. Its just that any sane christian would be dead to conscience to eat such sallah meat considering how the islamic adherents are killing mankind all over the World.Peace.
So how many of your muslim friends have threatened to kill you?

Are you saying you do not have any kind of interaction with any muslim at all?
Health › Re: Minister Of Health Calls For The Cancellation Of Environmental Sanitation by rman: 4:24pm On Oct 03, 2014
Long over due....

It was introduced by the military and isn't really serving the purpose other than movement restrictions.

People should find a way to make their environment clean with government enforcement. Also government at LGA and state level should have a robust waste management system with trained professionals and we would not need FG to declare Sanitation days.

The fact that people are not moving doesn't mean they are cleaning their environment.

Politics › Re: What My Uncle Told Me About The Missing $9.3million by rman:
Unfortunately for the OP, he picked another very corrupt administration to justify this corrupt one.

Has anyone noticed how the TAN idea is just a replica of the one million man March in support of Abacha?

Are we seeing the correlation between this administration and that of Abacha who was also the sole candidate for the shabby election he was organising before death came?

People begged Abacha to contest, now we are also begging GEJ as incumbent. Lol

Like GEJ like Abacha. I pray he completes his 8yrs in peace. I have accepted that nothing much is likely to change under him. He seems like a nice gentle man. He is just a man that was thrown into the middle of the worst set of political class on earth unprepared. If he changes too much, he loses, if he changes very little, he will just be forgotten like every other mediocre that ruled eg Shagari.
Culture › Re: 10 Cultural Taboos In Yorubaland! (things You Must Never Do) by rman: 7:23am On Oct 01, 2014
Maross: don't try to explain away some of these age long taboos... I know some of them sound very "illogical" but how do you explain the experiences of people who have had to deal the consequences of violation?
I think there is something deeper and somewhat inexplicable that ties us to some of our customs and tradition of which taboos are derivatives.
So how many Igbo men have died from eating food cooked by thier adulterous wife? You are on a long thing if you think this has not happened severally.

Why would someone put a soiled cotton bud into his/her private part? Does that make sense even if it is not a taboo.

Why would u encourage people to swim and die in rivers and steams that the whole community use for domestic purposes.

I picked this three specifically because it is more of logic than taboo.

Religion, Taboos, Law, rules and regulation etc all serve the same purpose. Keep people in check to avoid a chaotic society. Men are wise.

Other ones stated by the OP like that of kings will soon fizzle out when the hip hop generation that schooled abroad start becoming kings.

For Oro in yoruba land, it is not ORO that kills women but PEOPLE killing People to Justify their own barbaric beliefs. I hope u know quite well that they behead those that violate the Oro rule. It is not as if these violators of Oro will just slump and die when they see it. They f.c..k.n behead them bro!

The other ones especially the rat " Okeke " standing on his hind legs has been debunked in Tey tey....
Culture › Re: 10 Cultural Taboos In Yorubaland! (things You Must Never Do) by rman:
The cotton bud ish is to keep people clean and free of diseases.

Death by a river is to prevent frequent drowning incident so the river be will safe for drinking.

And adulterous wife cooking for the husband are all made up by very smart men of their time to prevent adultery.

At least these three are derivatives of logic, nothing like taboo if u do otherwise. Smart men of those times made this up to put people in check.

These smart men have been replaced successfully with pastors n imams.

Some of the comments on this thread are just so lame. Ethic bigots blaming others for their bigotry. What is the difference between you and Gworza , if indeed what is in the article is true ?

Only a fool will still think Ilorin is under any form of colonisation or "islamization" . Yes they have an emir an that is as far as it goes.

The biggest pastors and churches in Nigeria today have their roots in Ilorin . Rhema chapel is a very good example.

Ethnic bigots everywhere! Shame!

You do not practice using the wrong methods.......you will only perfect failures.

-'' Cut your coat according to your size'' is also wrong...it should be '' Cut your coat according to your cloth''.

....according to your size is what makes people live way beyond their means.
