Please my DD will be a month old in few days time. Please i need recommendation on hair products to use on her. I bath her with sebamed and rub olive oil on her. So far it's been good but I'm not perceiving that soft babyish fragrance (dunno if I'm making sense ) from her hair or even body when i carry her.
Please suggest a baby shampoo or oil i can use. Thanks.

I just carried my DD outside and I'm seeing that she has cradle cap. Please between nizoral shampoo and that leaf which one is best? Please any other suggestion will be appreciated.

For cradle cap, in my opinion, you don't need anything special, apply coconut oil or even olive oil amd comb. It will clear.

I totally get the baby smell you are talking about. We use chicco and apply olive oil too.

Ontop all these, i have no help yet till next week. . I barely sleep at night then have to wake early to prepare breakfast and lunch bag for my son.

I started lactating 2days ago, was happy cos i was tired of the whole formula amd sterilizing nonsense, then yesterday it all seized. I was worried, then remebered i only had few morsels of fufu all thru yesterday. I simply forgot to eat.

He is a yeye man. That tape thing has never been accurate for me, i don't even understand the ideology behind it cos i always measured like 3weeks late sef, always but all my 4 scan results gave me same EDD so i wasn't even bothered.

No. I meant i had my first child on the day i clocked 37weeks and it was spontaneous, i didn't do anything to trigger it. But with my second, i ate a whole pineapple and labour started at 39weeks.

I was told the immunization for 12 months is MMR and Chicken Pox. The hospital we've been using does not give. So we went to a private hospital to get the vaccines. After which we were booked for same immunization next month.

So Edd was 22/10 and by 37th week i was sooooo ready to pop, maybe cos i had my first by 37th week.

Anyway i did everything in the books, ate dates, walked, sexx, danced, excercise, then finally ate pineapple. Ate half on friday and the other half on saturday morning.

I woke up saturday morning with cramps, after pineapple it increased a whole lot. Later saw show but i sha managed from morning till 8pm when i got the hospital. Was checked and was 6cm, was admitted. At this point, contractions were more painful and continued till 1:30am.

I couldn't take it anymore, called the nurse and was taken to the delivery room, checked again and was 8cm. I was sha there o till i felt this strong urge, nurse checked again and said i was almost there but anterior cervix was something something and she gave me buscopan injection to soften abi release it.

Less than 5mins later, i knew it was time to push cos the pressure was too much. I pushed twice and baby came out. Weighed 3.2kg, no tear. Left the hospital 15hours later.

Good afternoon house. Pls how can I clear my baby's body of this rash? How ts been there for months now. Hospital gave her sudo cream but it didn't clear it.

My son had this at one point, i put it down to allergies. Since it wasnt itching or disturbing him i left it and it cleared on its own. Now we have just tiny tiny rash clusters, i still left it abeg.

Congratulations!!!!!!! Wish you a happy and healthy 9months. Due to your circumstance, i would strongly suggest you register with a good hospital immediately, so you can be effectively monitored.

After all these, have you seen a doctor to run tests? This is probably an infection, stop all the medication

This is every parents nightmare. I am short of words really, i read the post very early but didn't even know what to say, all through today it kept ringing in my head.

I just pray God guides you aright cos i don't even know how i would react, person go die that day. Please console and be with your daughter, i know she would open up soon. Everyone one in that school needs to be accounted for, male or female cos i was assaulted by both as a child.

Yes, I have been to the hospital and they conducted the test again both blood and urine. Urine was faint while blood came out positive. So doctor advised that I shouldn't panic. That its still normal that after I miss AF it will be darker. So I will conduct the test again by mid nextweek. But personally I have started taking food rich in progesterone and folic acid.

Still insist on progesterone supplement. All the best.

Yes, she had 2 failed IVF already. She's thinking its possible for her to grow d baby in a tube without carrying them coz she's in her mid 40's. She has d resources. It is not easy o but i know God will show her d right way to go soon. Thanks

Will the baby be in the tube till 9months?? I dont think that's how it works. Baby will be fertilised in the tube and introduced to the woman's body to develop. Test tube baby is also calledl ivf. Her other option is surrogacy, baby will have her genes and that of her husband. Or adoption.

I pray God shows her mercy. It is well.

They are good friends and both weren't pregnant. They have both been ttcing for years now and they are rich. Are there other methods of having a babies asides surrogacy ? Would love to know cos I have friends and relatives who need help. IVF failed them..pardon me for derailing.

Why not ask your neighbours what they did just kidding.

My sister, plenty roads leads to the market. If people open their mouths and tell you what they did, fear go catch you. Is it cryptic pregnancy or baby factory?

hello hwz,wifey did an US, GA is 8wks +/- 2 days everything normal but d doc says she can't detect heartbeat DT US should be repeated in 2 wks time...we both first timers and scared.. DW is showing no symptoms except slight tiredness ...pls experience mums..we are scared.

You can either repeat in another lab or simply wait for 2weeks, hope and pray for the best.

If your reason for using sebamed is cos of the rash, honestly don't bother cos it will clear. Its new born rash and normal. Sebamed is pricey and not easily gotten.

Abeg how can induce labour naturally? I'm tired biko, will be 38weeks tomorrow. Had my first at 37weeks exactly(fell into labour at 36weeks+), so i am not used to this long wait.

Whichever she can afford over a long term is best for her child. Formula is formula as long as it has no effect on the child.

My 6 month old also seems to have these cow milk allergy, I just started her on nan and cereals or pap, but she is always restless after each feed, she starts itching non stop, her eyes and skin turn red and sometimes rashes appears on some parts of her body, until she vomits the food, then all symptoms disappears, so for now she's just on breast milk and water. I don't know how we'll cope without formula.

Discontinue and see a paediatrician asap. I know people substitute with plant based milk, although they are pricey. I wanted to buy one and it was 18k.

Or you can try another brand of formula, i know all these enfamil and aptamil have differerent ranges of milk to suit different conditions, just that they are pricey.

Poop is supposed to smell, the change could be as a result of something you ate. I don't think it is something to worry about.

Since you know the cause of the rash, try to clean with wipes after feeding, that's what I did then. In my opinion, tiny face rashes are quite common in babies and would clear off, stop the tribotan and no need for cacatin. I never used cacatin sef, i don't know what it looks like.

Then give adult food. Modify it for his age, no salt, pepper or maggi. Baby food isn't a must. Nan is milk na, is that one too baby food? you can give one or two bottles a day. I won't recommend noodles at this age, try spag or macaroni. Use crayfish or soyabean powder in her meals for added protein.

Have you tried sweet potatoes and carrot, mixed witj formula? Plantains with fish, cooked with a bit of red oil. Soo many things to try really.

Try mixing the pap with avocados or banana mash with milk. There's oats to try, mixed with apple or pear puree.
